Synopsis

Mirai Kuriyama is the sole survivor of a clan of Spirit World warriors with the power to employ their blood as weapons. As such, Mirai is tasked with hunting down and killing "youmu"—creatures said to be the manifestation of negative human emotions. One day, while deep in thought on the school roof, Mirai comes across Akihito Kanbara, a rare half-breed of youmu in human form. In a panicked state, she plunges her blood saber into him only to realize that he's an immortal being. From then on, the two form an impromptu friendship that revolves around Mirai constantly trying to kill Akihito, in an effort to boost her own wavering confidence as a Spirit World warrior. Eventually, Akihito also manages to convince her to join the Literary Club, which houses two other powerful Spirit World warriors, Hiroomi and Mitsuki Nase.

As the group's bond strengthens, however, so does the tenacity of the youmu around them. Their misadventures will soon turn into a fight for survival as the inevitable release of the most powerful youmu, Beyond the Boundary, approaches.

8/10 | The ending felt rushed, was confusing and felt like it had a lot of plotholes. Why am I giving it an 8/10 then? Because despite these flaws the emotional impact is amazing. The themes and message of the story still were very strong, despite the plotholes and other flaws.
The characters are also partially what saved this show. They're written full emotion and the voice acting can be amazing in some scenes.
The humor and comedic timing was fine as well, you might not be laughing at every joke, but you'll definitely pop an occasional smile.
The animation was flawless, as expected form kyoani. I love ...

Mixed Feelings
Here I'll write a review without having it be 1000 words.

I liked most of it. The story was good and the characters were likeable because they were human. However it was a little bit too rushed so it leaves a lot of stuff unexplained. Some of the goals of characters just aren't explained well and the world building just also feels like it has too many important unexplained holes in it that it springs on you without ever giving you clues as to the world being this way. You just have to accept it as you go along. I mean it really is a ...

This anime will be fine if it would be more obvious to watcher, I watched all episodes and can tell that i had to wonder why that happened since first episode to last. This anime is too much condensed, maybe if creators could stretch that history twice and create 24 episodes where everything is explained normally that will be good anime.

I must greet graphics and battles, that was really good. It's sad that i dont know why some of them even happened but i mentioned about it before. One thing is also good, sense of humor but it's my personal preference. This two things lifted ...
