Sankarea

Chihiro Furuya possesses a strange obsession for the undead. Most remarkably, he is only romantically interested in female zombies. Due to the recent accidental death of his pet cat Baabu, Chihiro's craze is accentuated, and he decides to brew an elixir of reanimation.

However, Chihiro fails to find the correct combination of ingredients to produce the solution, causing him to give up and opt to bury Baabu instead. But before he can, Chihiro becomes acquainted with the wealthy and alluring Rea Sanka, who encourages him to continue trying. And so, upon mixing the poisonous hydrangea flower with his concoction, Chihiro successfully creates the elixir. Not realizing that he succeeded, Rea attempts to put an end to her miserable and restrained life by drinking the elixir she thought would poison her. But after actually dying in a fatal accident, the elixir shows its effect, and Rea is resurrected as a zombie.

Now liberated from her oppressive life, Rea moves in with Chihiro, who will now have to utilize his knowledge of the undead to care for the adolescent female zombie.

So i don't know how should i start, Hmm i don't know about it can be said a horror story or not but yeah this one is definitely have romance and supernatural stuff in it and little Ecchi and comedy too. But if you are thinking that if you should read it or not, i will say 100% go for it you will definitely love the story. For the start you will find it somewhat normal but as you progress in story after 3 Volumes it really starts to get interesting till the end. (hmmm just a little note you will ... also notice some differences between anime and manga story, but yeah that's fine go for it.)
I read the manga after i watched anime and the curiosity to know that what happens after where anime ended.
And reading this amazing story all till the end, i m still in lots of confusion but still after so much of thinking and going through some forums and some hints in the end chapter i come to 2 conclusion about the story and i am happily accepting it because for me they are acceptable.

So the story is really interesting of a boy "Furuya Chihiro" who secretly at nights in an abandoned building tries to create a resurrection potion and get successful, so he can resurrect "Baabu" (his dead cat - family member) with the help of "Sanka Rea" who used to come there to take out her frustration and anger by shouting in a well (reason her strict father).
But 1 night when returning home, her father sees her with Chihiro and on returning tells her that from now on she well not be allowed to go out from home. Now out of frustration and anger that the last freedom she had, has been taken from her. she drinks that potion which she had stolen a little bit from Chihiro while he was not paying attention which is made using one of poisonous ingredient thinking that this will end her life but it won't. on next day she hear her father and his servant talking about Chihiro, she runs away from home to forewarn him about his father's plot but dies in a accident and resurrect as zombie due to effect of the potion she drank last night.
Now after resurrecting as a zombie she leave her father and goes to live with Chihiro, and with the responsibility and Sanka Rea's wish to live as normal girl's life.
Now Chihiro has to face different situation and difficulties to help her live and try to find a way to stop the decomposition of her body. This continues the rom-com story of a normal boy and zombie girl.

Overall - 9/10

well at first i was thinking to give this story a overall score of 8 but after the 2 conclusion i came up with i decided to give it 9. so a happy ending.

Sankarea realmente é uma obra interessante... Ao mesmo tempo que ela nos apresenta uma trama “boba” e nós faz rir com um humor típico de animes e mangás desse gênero, ela também consegue nos apresentar bons personagens, com um arco narrativo coeso, e isso foge muito da proposta da maioria dos mangás desse gênero.

O absurdo facilmente “aceitável”
Eu particularmente gosto quando o mangá não se leva a sério, sabe? Quando o autor se permite criar as histórias menos críveis possíveis e mesmo assim nos apresentar uma trama ...

I mean, what the heck is happening to this world... It looks like they are doing it on purpose. PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW TO THE VERY END BEFORE ANYTHING.

I watched the anime like... 4 years ago and I just loved everything, the desing, the characters, the music, but it just covered 2 volumes of the mangas and there was no signs of a 2nd season so, a few days ago I found out that the manga was finished so I read it and wow...

Sankarea was a great manga, I fell in love with all the characters inmediatly, Babu, Rea, Darin, Chihiro, Professor Boil, it's imposible ...
