Manga: Blood Lad

Manga: Zombie Romanticism
These two mangas deal with the relationship between the living and the undead. Sankarea is more in the shounen category and is told from the male's point of view whereas Zombie Romanticism is more of a seinen manga and it's told from the girl's perspective. If you liked one, you may like the other.

Manga: Elfen Lied
Sankarea and Elfen Lied are really similar (the anime of Elfen Lied more than the manga though, since the manga is really unfocused) - a guy gets into a relationship with a girl with special powers who needs his care but sometimes get violent. Through out the story, lots of events coincide, and the dramaturgy is really similar. Both are even unnecessary ecchi... If you compare the Elfen lied anime and the Sankarea manga I think they are both are great, tightly woven shounen stories with a "seinen" depth, and I recommend them both just as much. Manga: Shishunki no Iron Maiden
Both revolve around a special girl with a secret. Both have perverted MCs in their own way. Both have somewhat similar plot twists and the end is also similar.

Manga: Ai-Ren
Both Ai-ren and Sankarea are about artificially created girlfriends with an uncertain time span. Both are really god and worth reading. Beware though, even if Sankarea actually contain more fan service than Ai-ren (which isn't fan service centered at all), Ai-ren is still "seinen" and darker.

Manga: I Am a Hero
If you need something to calm your mind with after reading I am a hero, you can relax with the fan serviced ecchi version of zombies. Likewise, if you get bored by Sankarea, you can always spice up your life with a few chapters of TOTAL ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.

Manga: Unlucky Boy Undead Girl
Both series have undead relationships that have a sweet touch, but the characters are lovable and they star romantic or comic moments in their life as a couple.

Manga: Hekikai no AiON
Both are drama manga's with comedy and horror. The main heroin in both manga's can't die. In AiON, there is a little romance, in Sankarea it is a bigger topic.

Manga: Itoshi no Kana
Sankarea and my lovely ghost kana both contain a male protagonist who fall in love with a girl who's life span is uncertain. Though unlike my lovely ghost kana's author's other famous work Ai-ren, my lovely ghost kana is a sweet and relaxing story. And unlike the zombie in Sankarea the ghost Kana actually have a working, uh, "bellow", and are not afraid of using it. Ironically enough, the sex in my lovely ghost kana is one of the sweetest put on paper, and I felt much more embarrassed with the blatant ecchi in Sankarea. Both are highly recommended, of course.

Manga: Psycome
The female leads in Sankarea and Psycome want to kill the male leads out of affection. In Sankarea, love turns on the zombie instincts to eat the flesh of the person they have interest in. In Psycome, all emotions are linked to the urge to kill. The stronger the emotion results to a stronger sense to kill.

Manga: Nazo no Kanojo X
Although the two mangas have little similarities other than the obvious suspects such as the ecchiness and the highschool romance going for them but the reason I recommended each title with the other is because chances are both titles will satisfy the same target readers. Both titles contain a lot of funny WTF! moments mixed with a lot of humor and awesome unpredictable weirdness that the readers of either titles are looking forward to

Manga: Tomie
Both series feature as the main female protagonist, and title character, a "zombie" high school girl. They are fairly different series in that Tomie focuses more on the horror aspect and features a fair amount of body horror, and Tomie doesn't so much as come back as a zombie as she simply . . . keeps coming back for various reasons even after being killed, while Sankarea is more of a slightly comedic romance between a girl who wants to die and be reborn as someone else (and ends up becoming a zombie as a result) and a boy with a fetish for zombie girls.

Manga: Shindere Shoujo to Kodoku na Shinigami
A day that changes a character's life forever. That's what it awaits for the MC of both series as they get associated with an elegant yet mysterious girl. Both series focuses on the development of their relationship while also builds on other strange phenomenons. Expect a degree of drama, mystery, and also tragedy as their perspective unfold to tell a bigger picture. Recommended for fans of school and mystery.

Manga: To LOVE-Ru Darkness
How is this similar to To LOVE-Ru Darkness? Well... To put it simply, there are babes! Yeah, sexy babes! (TROLOLOLOL) Ok, put it more seriously... First, the setting is high schooler. The protagonist both are troubled boys whose surrounded by unexpected turn of events (the majority were caused by the women surrounds him.) Second, as I stated at the beginning, there are a lot of women. Not a mediocre ones, they possessed something unique, something that your everyday gal's wouldn't fit in.
