So I finished Opm s1 few months back and have been hesitant to watch this season due to cgi criticism but is it worth to watch it if u can bare the cgi( coming from a guy who watched ajin and liked it, Cgi wasnt an issue for me)
If I shouldnt watch it then what to do when s3 drops, read a recap of s2 or what?

I would recommend watching it. There are still some important plot points and cool fight scenes in s2. Personally, I think it’s very worth a watch.

Cg isn't really the issue. It's just the animation is a bit lackluster when compared to season one. This season makes it up with its story tho which I found better than season one.

As Long as the Sun, the moon, and the Earth exist, everything will be alright.

yes, the season absolutely is worth it, although there is a slight drop in animation, the season itself is as good as the first one, also, Garou.

Anyone saying it isn't doesn't know what they're talking about

Animation is a bit worse and Saitama appears not as often as in S1 but it's still pretty good with nice fights and good plot.

the animation is pretty weak for an action show.

the comedy is still on point, and the story is even better than before.

but like... the manga has better animation.... literally.

like the panels are basically animation frames. It's hard to explain what I mean... just search "one punch man fight gif manga" and will understand what I mean.

Imo it's still worth a watch. The animation isn't as horrible as you may think. It's just that season 1 had raised the expectations of fans so high that they find the drop in quality more significant than it actually is.

the quality is not as good as Season 1.
season 1 extended a lot of fight scenes, but season 2 stayed panel to panel. Hence it felt kind of rushed. you can still watch it and there is no bad cgi.

I don’t really see the problem with season 2. Its still a great watch, it just has a step down in animation. But its not a huge step down, it still looks better than a lot of over action anime

It’s the animation in general that was the problem for most but if you can get through it definitely go for it. Animation isn’t even that bad it’s just average but it’s still quite a downgrade from S1, the story is still good

i hated this season honestly. not because of the animation like many people but i just found the pacing to be terrible. dumb stuff was dragged out for too long, but at the same time not long enough because of parts that seemed like they could have been cool were glossed over.

plus, i found the colors really ugly in this season, and who wants to watch an ugly show?

i’d reccomend the manga

I think the animation qualms are valid, but I feel like the story carries the season, and I don’t really notice the issues because of how much I enjoy the story. Definitely recommend.

Plot-wise, it's pretty faithful to the manga, so it's worth a watch. I think most people were just upset with the visual presentation, which is understandable, but it's really not the total failure some viewers make it out to be.

Is it worth it? depends, you should watch it anyway since season 3 is in the works so you need to watch this piece of crap to be able to watch the next season.

This is a downgrade in everything compared to season 1, I personally didn't like it, this season was pretty damn lack luster compared to season 1.

If you are going to watch it then watch the BD (Bluray) version and not the TV version since the TV version is way... WAY worse.
