The anime is overall positive and well-written. Though, Loid, Anya, and Yor can tell each other the truth and not hide their true selves anymore. That way, the political warfare between the East and the West ends sooner for the overall benefit of the public. My favorite character is Anya. She has telekinesis and is funny.

I only started to give this questionable anime a second chance to see the pros and cons. Clearly, the cons overweigh the pros. I do not get why the two main characters (Izumi Miyamura and Kyouko Hori) get so much love and a strong fanbase. After watching five episodes of this anime (I have a strong dislike for it), Izumi and Kyouko are characters in which I have a hard time to relate to. Out of all the "down to earth" and "normal" anime I have watched in my past time, I believe Izumi is a highly pathetic and retarded character. His personality has unjustified aggression and illogical behavior. For example, in Episode 2, I did not like how he "headbutted" Sengoku (the red-haired dude). Here is a link to a YouTube video showing that the unnecessary aggression: Miyamura Butts Into A Presidential Debate? | Horimiya Dub (about 4 minutes long) That was stupid and illogical of him. How about I trade places with Sengoku and we can clearly see how the outcome of this unexpected event shifts in my overall beneficial favor. His coping mechanism is weak and cowardly. The reason he got tattoos and piercings is also unacceptable. As for Kyouko, I do not like her popular high school status. I have met people like her in real life. Me and them have a high interpersonal incompatibility. In Episode 3, I did not like the gender inequality portrayed here. Kyouko is completely fine with grabbing Izumi's hand when she made an irritating remark about not letting Tooru Ishikawa grabbing her hand. What the fuck was that bullshit about?! She is supposed to be a smart high school student and yet she has insufficient situational self-awareness. After watching Episode 4, I completely lost it and officially classified the main characters as "blow-hard pathetic wannabes" in my "subjective book." In my opinion, Rainbow Days > Horimiya is always a true fact for me.
