both series involve a "game" with real lives at stake, set up by some mysterious person, while the main characters try to beat the game to win back their freedom or for other goals later realizing there´s more at stake

Psyren resembles GANTZ only at the beginning of the series. People are sent somewhere unknown and have to fight for their lifes in order to end "the game". The art gap is huuuuuuge. But both series are amazing.

Though the settings and tone differ, the core of both stories and recurring events are really similar. Gantz, though, is much more mature (Gore, sexual themes, bloodier, and a lot grosser).

Psyren is Gantz for kiddies...  Main Character is used by some mysterious entity (Gantz-Gantz, and Psyren-Nemisis Q) and are warped to another... well place. They have to complete some sort of objective before thy can go home.The endings are different, but they both start out very similarly..

Both have a plot where the main character(s) are transported to an alternate reality type setting. Both involve the idea of a 'game' that the main character(s) are forced to participate in against their will, and they will be snatched randomly and transported into the 'game'. Gantz tends to have more mature content and more gory death scenes than Psyren, but both story lines are very interesting, although Gantz has a darker and more dangerous feel. =.=

Gantz without all the blood and gore and add in a couple supernatural powers and what do you get? Psyren. Both manga have survival games where the main character is fighting against something beyond his comprehension.

Both involve a death game in which it is unknown of its true purpose, it involving killing monsters , gaining points and goals.
Differences - Psyren enters the game through a card calling machine where in Gantz you enter the game by dying, both are great in terms of building tension.
Gantz is extremly gory, dark and wierd and you are likely to not feel sorry for anyone due to the huge amount of deaths.
Psyren is more esp related with superpowers and is funny, where Gants is more serious with action packed stuff like guns and swords.

I thought I'd made this recommendation already. I hadn't. (True story...)

After reading the BR manga, I went on to read the novel. There's a world of difference between the novel and its completely over the top manga adaptation. The simplest way of explaining it is for me to tell you to imagine the author of Gantz, Oku, was allowed to insert as much graphic violence and nudity as humanly possible, while keeping the story and characterisation as is.

Remember that part in the novel where - in a flashback - the Terminator/final boss character plucked an eyeball out at school?... No? What about the part where a girl reverse-raped a boy to reward him, as he lay dying from a wound in his stomach?... Still no? Ok, then: you MUST remember the bit where, in a martial arts showdown with the series' final boss (one of the best fights ever, FYI) the good guy hit the bad guy with a mini-kamehameha?...... I give up.

If you loved Gantz for its boobs, violence and general craziness, you'd LOVE BR to bits. Seriously. read more

Both incredibly graphic and gory manga, with the concept of deadly survival games with a lot of killing involved. Whereas Gantz goes for the sci-fi approach, Battle Royale goes for realism. ^_^

Characters fight to survive, and if they try to run away then a bomb goes off in their head. It has the same feeling of hopelessness that runs through Battle Royale, and while reading Battle Royale I was shocked at some of the similarities. If you like one then you will like the other.

Combining graphic violence with a game style concept and gimmick, Gantz and Battle Royale are classic survival horror series.  Both series consists of a group of characters trapped in a death game where they must fight in order to survive. The follow a different set of rules and principles but the core of the themes remain. Both series' main male protagonists also adapts similar personality with a strong dedication to survive. Throughout both series, we learn much more about the other players and what awaits them.

While Battle Royale deals a lot more with character development, there are many similarities that are present between the two series'.

In terms of sex scenes and overall nudity, the same elements are in Gantz, although in a more extreme state. 

Another great similarity is the AMAZING amount of realism that both of these manga contain, luring the reader in with relatable stories and setups. 

If you're into the horror aspects of BR, you'll certainly like Gantz! In fact, I would say that the brutality in BR does next to NOTHING to prepare you to some of Gantz's more extreme scenes.

Both Battle Royale and Gantz are similar in many ways.

First off, both of them have a group of people put into a place where they must kill or be killed. The only difference is the Battle Royale focuses on only one such setting, while Gantz has multiple characters go into this setting multiple times. Plus, in Battle Royale, the people are killing humans, while in Gantz, aliens are being killed.

Both have extremely similar styles of art, with tons of gore and nudity present in both of them.

Overall, both of these manga, are similar in a multitude of ways and if you like one, you'll most probably like the other. read more

Both have violent but cool fighting scenes and even some sex together with interesting stories. Beserk follow a medieval fantasy world while Gantz is set in alternate present cyberpunk. Both main characters are also affected by unknown forces.

This is a very mature, violent, bloody, seinen, dark manga. The manga has been around since like 1990 (so it's been over 20 years!!!) and the story is simply AMAZING. I am very impressed by the creator of Berserk. I watched the anime first and then jumped straight to read the manga. The anime only covers like 10% of the whole story and the manga is not even finished yet. This is another AMAZING manga.

Hundreds and hudreds of very graphic and detailed deaths. Lots of main characters die. There are explicit sex scenes, violations and a lot of gore. Probably the two hardest mangas I have read.

If you like stories with a fantasy setting then you should read on. Both of these manga take place in a fantasy setting, but that's not all they also contain a lot of violence, blood and gore. So if you are interested in these type of manga then you should give these two a try because they are the best in their genres. If you like one of them you will probably enjoy the other one as well!

Out-of-this-world monsters, violence, blood gore and sex... It is so similar in this aspect is was surprising. However, one revolves around revenge while the other is more about saving humanity. If you just love violence and gore, then both these are just for you.

Berserk and Gantz have quite a bit common. Be it the very mature themes, to nudity, language, to over the top violence. They are both very dark in theme, and the characters are very detailed and fleshed out. Once you start reading either manga, they are hard to put down.

In Berserk, the main character, Guts, is fighting off supernatural forces, whereas in Gantz, the main character(s) are fighting extraterrestrial beings. Both mangas have the people battling against the odds, making it feel like it's a few people fighting the world. Oh and they both have gigantic swords.

This too has a death plot, where anyone can die anytime, lots of killing, supernatural beings, intense action, amazing world building and the art is similar to Berserk too. Enjoy.

Grotesque monsters, over the top violence, blood, nudity and gore. If your looking for a manga with these things then I suggest you start reading now, both will have you hooked from beginning to end. Berserk differs being a fantasy set in medieval times, with a more direct story revolving around the main characters. While Gantz differs by being a sci-fi set in modern times, with characters tasked to take down monstrosities.

Jagaaaaaan had a lot of gore, sex and action just like Gantz. Both have supernatural stuff hounding on. Also the art style kind of reminds me of Gantz. And the characters are not completely likeable just like in Gantz. It's an enjoyable manga because if you like Gantz you most likely will like Jagaaaaaan.

Both have egoistic main characters that have great character development throughout the story with a great side cast. And the best part about both titles are the wacky, interesting and cool fights, and the designs of the monsters are extremely good.

Jagaaan and Gantz are very similar in terms of style: monsters, gore and sex. The battles in the first two volumes are comparable to the ones with the bird or shorty aliens. Jagaaan's protagonist also has a really good development, which is another similarity to Gantz. If you enjoyed the madness of Gantz, then Jagaaan is a must-read.

 I would basically say this is a mix of Junji Ito, Gantz, Sweet Home and Parasyte:The Maxim

It's similiar in the sense that it's not afraid to display brute personalities within it's characters and how they differentiate themselves, in other words, they feel unique, and also, they're mostly batshit crazy. The depiction of gory fights reminds me a lot of Gantz, considering the common occurence of individuals exploding in not so family friendly ways.

La historia es bastante diferente, pero mantiene el toque gamberro que tiene Gantz y todo tipo que censura que omite este también lo hace Jagaan. Si bien es una historia que no está a la altura de Gantz, es igual de disfrutable que este (quitando algunas escenas que no deberían de existir porque no tienen sentido o es algo innecesario para la trama).

Terra Formars and Gantz are Seinen action manga. They both have Sci-Fi elements and involve humans fighting monsters/aliens they know little about using sci-fi weapons and powers given to them. The characters in both are never safe as many are frequently injured/killed when fighting because the enemy becomes stronger each time. If you enjoyed one of them and are looking for another manga which is just as explicit, gory and violent then I'd definitely recommend that you read the other!

It has alot of similarities to gantz. The team's in both mangas get scifi weaponry and abilities to fight the enemies. Gantz is mysterious and random with the alien enemies while the Terraformar cockroaches are the primary enemies but with hints at mysterious origins. There is alot of gore in both mangas, alot of people are killed off, and the enemies try to adapt and overpower the humans as much as possible. In some aspects the artstyle feels similiar as well.

It's kind of obvious since both are made from same mangaka, but they are revolving around the same themes as well, saving the world, becoming powerful unexpectedly, action and bang bang ドンドン！ this time it's Suzuki from gantz who've forgotten everything that happened, gotten older and weaker. Well not literally, but if you've read gantz you kind of get the idea. Bang bang! ドンドン！great stuff.

Shingeki no Kyojin addpermalink

What connects Gantz and Shingeki is their equally brutal, unflinching violence. Gantz offers 'guilty pleasure' elements (namely, huge boobies) not present in Shingeki, but in both titles characters are introduced and then, without warning, murdered in graphic detail. The intensity level of two is high enough to keep one on the edge of their seat throughout.

If the games from Gantz excited you, then the giants raiding the last home of humanity - and ripping humans apart like toys - would also excite you. The quality characterization in the two makes it impossible not to care.

Both deal with human slaughter on a massive scale. Whenever the enemies show up you never know exactly who is going to die; all you know is that somebody will. If you like how the fights are portrayed in Gantz than you will undoubtedly like Shingeki no Kyojin and vise-verse.

Shingeki no Kyojin is very similar to Gantz, in that the protagonist is an overpowered human forced to fight for his survival by killing other powerful species (aliens in Gantz and giants in Shingeki) about whom he knows practically nothing. The enemies seem to attack humans for no discernible reason.
Both have significant amounts of blood and gore and visceral action, though Gantz has it much more than Shingeki.

Even though the demographic is Shonen, Shingeki feels like a Seinen. Both Gantz and Shingeki share Psychological topics and violent gore aspects. Characters are killed left and right and there's a struggle and feeling of hopelessness in both worlds from all the chaotic events taking place. There's also alot of mystery to both worlds including the enemies they both fight. In the case of Gantz, no one knows what Gantz truly is or why these creatures are attacking them. For Shingeki no one knows what the titans are or where they came from, how they are made, how they function, or why they are attacking humans.  read more

Giant man-eating monsters, the fate of humanity in the balance and group of people tasked with taking these monsters down. Shingeki no Kyojin differs by being a shounen with a medieval-like setting, while Gantz is a sci-fi set in modern times being a lot more graphic due to its seinen demographic. So if your looking for some high top action, monsters, blood and gore I suggest you begin reading one of these series.

In these two, death is only the beginning. 

Initially average lead characters find themselves confronted with monsters and fight death-matches over and over AND OVER until they become killing machines without fear or doubt. Not even death itself is an escape since characters are revived in Gantz and death results in a never-ending time loop in All You Need Is KIIIIIIIILLLLLLL. 

There is no other similar characterisation that I have encountered. There are plenty of survival series out there, for sure, but none where characters grow mentally stronger by dying and gradually abandoning fear. Death being the starting point of both series, rather than an end that will never come to pass due to your typical main character plot protection in other series, makes for unique and gripping reads.  read more

Both bring up love interests with the male protagonist and a cute female.
Both are incredibly brutal and not for the light-hearted.

The main characters go through loops in which they have to fight against other-worldly beings who landed on earth. Both have amazing protagonists who don't hesitate to strike upon the enemies. 

In both series there is a heavy atmosphere of improvement in the protagonists eyes, on if they can not improve, it will ultimately be their downfall in life. 

A bit of a warning Gantz is much more bloody and gory than All You Need is Kill. And in my opinion much more story driven than action driven.

How will you live to see to tomorrow? But how much trauma must you suffer first? So are you looking for a manga with about such a situation? Well I suggest you go read one of these. Gantz differs with a mysterious system tasking a group of individuals to work together to battle against a variety of alien monstrosities. While All You Need Is Kill dictates the life of a rookie soldier as he becomes trapped in a time loop, hence focusing on his struggles to find an escape and win the current war against aliens. So if your looking for a blood pumping sci-fi action manga about fighting against alien monsters I suggest you read one of these immediately. read more

Let's see...

-- An endless series of 'play or die' games, where survivors from each game must continue to work together.
-- The enemies in both are aliens... until the aliens start being dicks and make humans fight it out. There's no text-sharing black sphere in Kamisama but the aliens themselves tend to be quite chatty, with the same sort of twisted humour.
-- Almost anyone can die. Getting attached to characters is a bad idea (until Kurono appears in Kamisama with his 100-points, anyhow).
-- No attempt is made to explain why, exactly, people are finding themselves forced to go at it with weird as hell enemies (Gantz goes to shit once info is shared). And a high-schooler slaughtering people with a sword is just normal. Accept it!

Kamisama is a lil' more shounenish than Gantz with its typically average>winrar lead and a girlfriend character or two wanting his 2D dick from the get-go, but it's in the same magazine as Shingeki and there aren't any orange ninjas. I like it.

The games play out more along the lines of Liar Game than Gantz, but with aliens and its sense of humour and level of craziness... read more

Survival games with lots and lots of deaths. The protagonist is the plain marginate and depressive high school guy that wins confidence through the series.

Manga that involve game in which contestants are trapped somewhere, and are forced to fight each other to death. Contestants often have to fight bizarre aliens that pop out of nowhere. High gore contents in both manga.

Both based on school kids and supernatural survival games, which have the characters battling for their lives in weird, tense and dark scenarios. 

They both share the same atmosphere although they differ in the games themselves. Gantz revolves more around action based gun wielding fights, while Kamisama deals with the characters wit and their ability to decipher the 'rules' of each game using their physical strength. Never the less, the main characters must overcome their fears and in turn be courageous in order to survive the wacky games.

The games both share the same weird but wonderful enemies, together you and the characters will be confused but entertained by the entities that they face.

Finally, you never know what will happen to the main characters as they equally keep you second guessing and may have some shock results!

The too are very similar killing monsters because you have to, blood, gore, death, ect.  The only main difference is in Zetman the main character is a "Player" or monster that is designed to kill the other monsters.  In Gantz it is regular humans that have died and are now sent to kill random alien/monsters.  The art work on both are amazing and the thought that goes into both are amazing.

Both Mangas are very dark, mature, bloody, violent, horrific, and all things that make a good seinen. They both have the premise of fighting to survive, aliens and Zombies with the latter. They also are similar in that later in their stories they things become extremely grandiose in scale and that affects humanity on an existential level. Though they both possess a similar tone, they differ greatly in approach with characterization . As Gantz is more of the cliche cool/bad ass guy that kills everything with his friends, while I am a Hero follows a guy the opposite, being delusional, socially awkward and a bit of a pacifist in a world outbroken by zombies.

I feel these manga are quite similar due to their otaku main characters and very basic initial premises both gradually becoming larger in nature, incorporating foreign (to japan) story lines and characters. In addition to that, both manga are also heavily traced and have subplots that go nowhere.

Gantz and I Am a Hero both have a very similar ending utilizing a bastardized part of Buddhist philosophy called saṃsāra as a part of their narratives.

The use of saṃsāra has been criticized and praised by fans of both series.
Criticized because it undermines the sacrifice of all the dead characters that can now be revived/ are revived and praised for bringing back fan favourite characters.

Depending on whether you liked that aspect of the story or not you should consider reading or not reading the other story.

Update It’s been a month since I posted this and in that time I got a couple of people asking how saṃsāra fits into the narrative of both stories and where you can see it occur. This was included in my original version of this recommendation but MAL accidentally deleted it, as a result, I'll have to try to summarize it again and not spoil anything. 

To start off with I'll have to explain what Saṃsāra is as a lot of people are confused about it. 
Firstly saṃsāra in any religion doesn't specify that reincarnation/rebirth needs to be in the form of a human and does not specify the individual has to be aware of their prior self. Secondly, when you go through saṃsāra you're not supposed to remember your past. (samsara is also observed in other religions but because of the form it takes in both series it is evident it's based on Buddhist saṃsāra and considering that Buddhism is the only religion in japan that practice samara it makes sense the authors base their bastardized version off of it)

In the case of the ZQN  in I Am a Hero they are still physically Zombies but they regain a part of if not all their consciousness/memories depending on the individual and point in the story. The most apparent time in the series this is shown is when the Nameless Mass of Brains (NMB) is shown communicating with the people inside itself. The zombies/people integrated into the NMB hive mind, have regained their sanity, intelligence, emotions, memories and personalities from when they were human  (source chapter 231). Fully conscious ZQN also appears in chapters 188-190 and 217.

There was never a definitive answer to what the ultimate fate of humans will be but you can infer from the aforementioned chapters that the *Spoilers* aliens intend to keep the consciences of humans and turn them into tools in potential some kind of hive mind. This lessens the impact of the destruction of humanity as instead of being wiped out they have been enslaved. *Spoilers*

Moving on to Gantz, it talks about how the concept of saṃsāra works in their world in the Room of Truth or Alien God chapters 369-372. 

In chapter 372 someone inquired if flesh and blood were really all there were to humans' existence, questioning the existence of the human soul. The God Aliens then clarified if the "soul" he was referring to is the 21 grams of data released the moment a human died. It then started to explain that such a thing indeed exists. It then explained that when a human dies, this 21 grams of data migrates to a separate dimension. It is then extracted from the separate dimension and then imported into a new body when a new human baby is born.

I can't get into how this fits into the overall story without spoilers but I can say that this encounter leads to the undermining of all the sacrifices in the story.

The emotional and physical hurt are thicc as hell in both of these manga. Very violent and full of gore, though Fire Punch is a good bit less sexual. Both teenage boy protags deal with feelings of guilt and answer the consequences of their own selfishness in a world in which they feel forced to kill due to incredibly powerful, mysterious forces acting on a large scale. Both manga disrespect plot armor: loved characters *will* be lost.

If you like GANTZ you will love Highschool of the Dead (HOTD) as well. Both have a kick ass main character and tons of hot girls that somehow tie into the story plot. In GANTZ you follow a team of individuals as they are summoned on missions to kill off aliens, while given extremely powerful weapons. In HOTD you read as a group of high school students are forced to fend off zombies and fight for their lives, trying not to get bitten. As in GANTZ, HOTD is filled with blood and violence as the band of average individuals try desperately under circumstances they have never encountered before, resorting back to their primal instincts only to find that the world is a game of "survival of the fittest." read more

I dont know what people think of Hellsing and Gantz but to put them both in a nut shell. gore, more gore, and destruction.  Hellsing is a Alucard killing off his own kind (vampire) and Gantz is a group of people killing aliens.  Both have very detailed story lines.  Gantz would be a little more gory because there is more fighting involve but Hellsing is a great way to laugh (depends on how you like gore).

* Characters are transported to an alternate world/space at some intervals
* They are given Quests which they have to complete in order to return
* Life on the line, if everyone dies the "game" is failed

There might be even more similarities ("game masters" are strange looking men who give out quests using their strange 'lingo') So if you like manga with such game elements it might be interesting for you. Gantz is mature audience oriented compared to 100-man, however both stories get rather complex and interesting as story goes on!

Mahou Shoujo Site addpermalink

Mahou Shoujo Site is basically a magical girl remake of Gantz (which is basically a seinen action remake of the mahou shoujo genre ;) ). People get chosen by a supernatural force, they kill each other and stuff happens. What makes Mahou Shoujo Site stand out is the great characters and a solid story (and lots of violence!). In my opinion it has more in common with Gantz than Madoka Magica.

Minimum has not been serialized for as long and is just starting to get more into the fighting rather than the nudity which it capitalized on in the earlier chapters. If you enjoyed Gantz you will probably enjoy Minimum since the targeted demographics are exactly the same.

In Re:birth- The Lunatic Taker they are revive as takers, to live on they must either kill other takers and get their point or they must go and hunt tenshi.

In terms of violence and gore, Kurozuka seems to less exaggerated than Gantz. Although you are guaranteed to see guts flying in both cases. In terms of the narration, both story present a very unique and experimental style. Gantz having to constantly changing the characters while Kurozuka constantly time jumps (2 first volumes already cover a few thousand years). Both have this mysterious supernatural plotline well hidden along the action.

In the genre "unwillingly receiving super powers and killing stuff" Gantz is regarded as one of the corner stones, for good reasons. Even if Biorg Trinity starts out pretty confusing it really grows within a few chapters, and I'd say it's a great read for anyone who's into this kind of story. Just like Gatz the premises deepens and gets more intricate, together with some of the best art in the history of manga.

If throwing Gantz and Hunter x Hunter into a blender results in Psyren, then throwing any of the Yugioh series into a blender with Gantz results in Chaosic Rune.

Seriously, the only differences between the 2 series is that Gantz is much more graphic, and Chaosic Rune uses cards to fight instead of guns.  However, both series have a lot of fanservice, and both are very violent.

Both series exclusively centers around the protagonist and their life, there will indeed be a lot of side characters that will occur by itself, their presence will impact the protagonist but they are not all so important to the progression of the story. Similar to Gantz, The climber will start off as a more light and fun series but the more you go through each chapter, it'll get heavier.

Artsyle wise, both of these are some of the most realistic feeling manga I have ever read. Both are dark seinens with a sci-fi/supernatural edge. Both main characters are even named Kei, and aren't all that likable at first ;p Gantz is the more vulgar between the two, but both have a similar feel that I am sure Ajin fans would like.

On the surface, these two seem as far off as two series can be but from the get go you'll notice how the big event that changes the protagonist's lives are similar in that they are absolutely vague, have little foreshadowing and seems to have rules that are randomly inserted. 

Gantz is the more graphic series but as hard as it is to envision due to the artwork and the genre, After School Nightmare is actually the more violent series and a whole lot more important characters die in it.

In the end, it is best to treat this recommendation not as a "what do you want to read next" but as an introduction test for which one of this series gets you more interested as the pacing for these type of series can be very rough (if not boring by virtue of being laid out with too many generic cliches before you get to the good parts) but they contain enough out of nowhere events that they are worth checking out so it's best to find a series that will better ease you into the whole thing. The reason it doesn't work as anything other than an introduction recommendation is that it's similar in exactly the opposite way Alien is similar to Jaws. Both protagonist want to be heroes. Both are horny men that act like they have PMS. Both have nearly the same pacing. But despite all these, they are as aesthetically different as they come and chances are it's too easy to dismiss these two as similar. read more

In Gantz a bunch of people have o fight aliens in almost like an alternate universe and kei is the leader.The story has a lot of gore, there's rape, it's mature but very good. In Jisatsutou Sei is a nobody who attempted suicide, sent to an island with other attempted suicidal people, and uses his kick ass archery skills to survive. It's very good as well.

Also, in both manga, there are different groups who are fighting amongst each other until an enemy comes that is powerful enough to make them realize their mistakes and unite to defeat a common enemy. Although the people in GANTZ don't have powers like those in trace, they are equipped with futuristic weapons and suits that give them the ability to combat the enemy.

The people are forced to be a part of a 'game', the purpose of which they aren't told. Both protagonists seek to find the "bad guy" and aim to end the senseless game in which they were plunged into unknowingly.

Despite different genres, both stories have similar main characters that start out ordinary but have to survive and overcome intense challenges by their own quick thinking and self-improvement. It definitely gives the reader that rush. Also, there are cool teams in both series.

Protagonists thrown into a semi-supernatural fight for survival (with a low chance of actually making it out alive) while trying to maintain an ordinary life. Violence, desperation, intermittent insanity, and things you can never unsee ensue.

Both deal with humans fighting against aliens. They are dark, and have a heavy atmosphere and a unusual storytelling, with many scenes without words. Both are similar in the characters design.

Red Garden addpermalink

The basic plots are so similar it's not even funny. Both manga even have a Gonzo anime adaptation.
Group of high schoolers dies ---> They come back to life ---> They are forced to fight against monsters/aliens for initially unknown reasons ---> They'll die (again) if they either refuse to fight or die during the battle ---> They discover to be copies of their original bodies ---> They are called with a song (which in Red Garden comes with a storm of butterflies) at the beginning of every mission, etc.
Both are dark, psychological, horror manga full of violence, gore, and action, but Red Garden is much more dramatic, deeper, and beautiful. Also, on the opposite of Gantz, Red Garden has a good character cast, an amazing art style, a bit of actual romance, and, despite its slice-of-life moments, is not boring in the slightest bit.
So, if you want something with the same story as Gantz, but with no ecchi crap, irritating aliens and retarded characters, the raffinate, gorgeous, but still gruesome Red Garden is a must-read. read more

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar addpermalink

Although Hai to Gensou no Grimgal is fantasy and Gantz is sci-fi, both have a similar atmosphere and character setup. Both begin with a group of people who is transported to some place and have to kill monsters and aliens in order to survive. Both protagonist are a normal and afraid kid who just go with the flow, always relying on more charismatic characters, but eventually they will have to become the one to protect others instead of being protected. Both have very graphic and excellent artworks.

An assortment of dynamic characters are thrown into a world of violence and massive collateral damage in these two epic series.  GANTZ features crisp, elaborate artwork, but if one does not want to see flying guts in high definition, read Project ARMS instead.
