Ive never thought of this "spike isnt dead" thing tbh. As much as I understood about the show it makes so much sense for him to die. I dont really know what the mentality behind Spike dead is so I dont think I can understand how you feel about the show. So lets just leave it at that.

Ya I think its coz Kendrick said he coming for everyone and he is the best which is probably said out of pure competitiveness not coz he hates anyone or like that.

Kanye I think has one of the best discography but his pure raping skills kinda sucks.

I also dont have anyone I hate from Haikyuu, There are lot of important characters so not finding anyone boring and not memorable is insane. Last I felt like this was during Mushishi. It was crazy how I cared more about characters that only appear in 1 ep in Mushishi more than almost 90% of all anime character.

I remember those days. Those were the fun days man. I miss them so much. Man I remember myself being too vocal about things I like and dont like back in 2020-2022. I dont think it was mine coz you said you watched it in 2020 and I didnt even watch Barakamon untill early 2021. I was at my I watch cool stuffs in the 2020. I was too busy watching shits like Ergo Proxy and SEL. (no hate still love them though)

I think Barakamon is very rewatchable. Not in a sense that I learn new about the show everytime I watch but just the fact that I dont have to overthink about stuffs that is happening and just shut off my mind and enjoy kids doing stupid things is insanely fun for me.

I understand why you dont like Bebop coz you mentioned you dont even like the bounty hunting part of the show which is the main part of the story so no wonder you dont have too good things to say about the show. For me the episodic bounty hunter episodes were already good enough for me to enjoy but the vicious and spike's stuffs was just bonus to the show I already like. And you claiming how other character are useless is pretty weak. And also not just Edward but even Faye and Jet has nothing to do with Vicious as he is solely for the purpose of diving into Spike's backstory and his overall character. Like how Faye's backstory doesnt include anyone other than her. How she is insanely old and she had an accident and was frozen till 2068 and she has no memory of her past life. It was her story and Jet has his own which doesnt include Spike or anyone. And Spike's story just happen to include Vicious. He is important to Spike's story and not the story of Bebop overall coz there are 3 other characters other than Spike who has their own story to dive upon. Everyone has their own story which are dived upon differently in completely different episodes.

Shining is insane. Stanley Kubrick is my favorite ever director. His "Paths of Glory" is my favorite movie of all time. Ive watched like 50% of his movie catalogue, And I have to say he is the most versatile director Ive ever seen. He has classics in horror, war, comedy, scifi. you name it.

No fking way Drake got a chance vs Kendrick. Im not too into rap industry but Ive listened to many artists including Jay, Em, Big E, Tupac who are in GOAT conversation but no one impresses me more than Kendrick. He in my opinion is both the best lyricist and also the story teller in rap industry. He maybe is the best story teller in music in general imo. His "Sing about me" and "U" are two of the best stories Ive ever heard through music. And that's coming from a guy who is 24/7 on music. He also is so versatile that none of his albums sounds same and follow same recipe. Its all different while also sounding exceptional.
His new beefs are insane. Especially Meet the Grahams its probably the darkest diss Ive ever heard. He didnt just talk about Drake. He talks to his mom, dad, his son, his daughter about how much of a failure Drake is. I honestly dont understand shit about what Drake meant in his diss so probably its not as good as Kenrdick. I gotta agree though Drake has better flows in his rap but diss isnt about flow but about the bars which Kendrick sweeps Drake.

Second season is my favorite haikyuu season. Obviously coz of the whole Oikawa thing. Aoba Joshai losing and Oikawa going showing he still doesnt want to give up and do everything he can was fking hype asf, and its really the season we knew about Oikawa in bigger picture not just his "cool, childish senpai" kinda shit, I really dont mind any episdoes of s2 at all.

Not interms of character but the role the story he is pretty much like Hisoka from HxH. Like both himself and Hisoka werent too strong if we compare them to other characters in their anime but they are the first big step up in competition our mc has to overcome. No wonder they are pretty much the only two I think that are my favorites.

I actually donyt think they have much screentime. I feel like its coz side characters in Haikyuu are so memorable that it seems like we've known and have seen about them for long time. But also I feel like many side characters in Haikyuu needs to have more screentime coz of what happens in the manga later. Ive not read it yet but I know what happens completely.

yellow one is Kise. I like him too. His vs Aomine's team game was insanely hype. I also dont hate the green haired and purple haired one but I do fking dislike Akashi as well. and Kuroko the main mc is literally like my top 3 most hated mc of all time. I literally cannot stand the guy.

Ive heard nothing but good things about the Haikyuu manga. But I wanna just watch the anime when it comes out.
I watched Haikyuu in my "watch everything I hear about" phase of my life. I didnt have much expectations from it but I immediately fell in love with the characters. first character that really caught my interest was Tsukishima later the charcetrs like Nishinoya, Tanaka, Kageyama, Daichi, Oikawa, Hinata, Ushijima, Atsumu, Osamu everyone just were so good. they individually were already good enough but their interactions with our main group was just so fun.

I dont know how serious it is though xD. I dont count 2 as much of a difference but a 7 and a 9 might be big difference if I think about it. But thats fine it doesnt matter how much we like an anime. if we both like it then we both like it. doesnt matter if you like it and gave it a 9 or I like it and gave it a 7. Both have positive things to say anyways.

If you dont know already. Barakamon is my favorite slice of life show ever and Slice of life is my favorite genre of anime. So saying I love Barakamon will be an understatement. Its story is kinda mid like "dude looses his temper and does things he shouldnt do. his fathers makes him stay at some random countryside. he finds some weird kids. spends his days with them" pretty mid if you ask me. But again the characetrs are so fun and the way they interact is hilarious and wholesome at the same time. Naru and Handa has to be my favorite duo of characters in all of anime. Aside of how funny and wholesome the anime is. It also does great job at showing how little by little Handa learns more about life and things he loves to do through the villagers not just Naru. If there is a show in any media that Ive watched the most, it will be Barakamon.

I dont think Cowboy Bebop had a goal. Even if it had then it wouldnt be just about vicious and spike stuffs. with that logic Gintama should fall in same category as well as it had a goal of Gintoki and Takasugi but it also had lot ton of episodic episodes that pretty much isnt doesnt matter to the final goal. and it maybe has like 10x the episodes of what Bebop has.
Episode 5 and final 2 episodes are only completely about Spike vs Vicious in Bebop if I remember properly. Other than that I dont see it any different that any other episodic anime. Every episode (maybe not every but many episodes) are there for us to learn more about the characters like there is maybe 2 episodes completely for us to learn about Faye Valentine. Her backsotry and how he is literally in her grandma age. In surface level it may look as if episodes are just there to make Spike look cool with his fancy punches and kicks but every episode is kinda connected in a sense that we learn more and more about our characters in every other episodes, Like we might see a glimpse of Spike's backstory in certain episode and then we might see its continuation 3 episodoes later. So saying its filler is maybe wrong. And also Cowboy Bebop is firstly about two county hunters chasing heads then its about Spike vs Vicious. Spike and Vicious was slowly built up when the show was already was about something else. We didnt know nothing about Vicious and his relation with Spike untill ep 5. Its like how Gintama was firstly about Yorozuya doing random things and slowly everything regarding the season 4 was built up as the episodes went by.

Its going fine. I havent watch any new movies for about 2/3 weeks now. Last movie I watched was La La Land and I cannot explain how much of a disappointment it was. Considering it won many oscars.
Im more into music nowadays. I always was into music but Im trying to get into music genre I dont particularly enjoy, Been listening to hip hop lately. I really dont like rap/ hip hop but I really do enjoy Kendrick Lamar. Might actually be the only rapper I genuinely like. His Good Kid Maad City album was absoltely incredible.

Motherfking shit lmao. Completely forgot about this site again. Ive been doing barista training for quite a while now. I started off just coz of my interest in the field but now I think I can make a living out of this if I try hard enough to understand everything I have to understand.

Thats great. Its my favourite sports anime ever. Kinda pisses me off to see people calling it off as a "girls anime" for some reason. Prolly coz there are handsome young men all over the anime idk maybe.

Hinata is easily the best modern anime protagonist in my eyes. Dude perfectly embodies everything that makes a good shounen protagonist. Though Im more interested in talking about Oikawa. Dude probably is my favorite antagonist in anime ever. (yes he is antagonist. Im tired of people saying he isnt.). For little context I dont like Kuroko's Basketball much but I absolutely love Aomine Daiki. I was so fascinated with his " too good that it hurts yourself" kinda thing. Aomine loves basketball but he is just too good and has no competition that he hates himself for being so good. I liked how he was potrayed in the anime but due to Kuroko's Basketball being a supernatural anime I couldnt take it too seriously coz ofc you will have no competition when you are a superhuman playing vs actual humans. And Oikawa is literal opposite of Aomine. Its like Aomine embodies the "curse of being extraordinary" while Oikawa embodies "curse of being ordinary". Oikawa is just another hard worker but he has his ceiling he cannot cross coz he wasnt born a genius or talented in volleyball like Kageyama. I love how well written he is (probably best in the show). he is incedebily human and his strengths and flaws are just so believable. I love Kageyama but seeing how naturally gifted he is that lowers down my attachment to him meanwhile Oikawa is just there coz of his extreme hardwork and pure ambition to be better at what he loves to do. Just the fact that he is so humane and he embodies the "one who is there with pure hardwork" just so perfectly.

Thats the reason I love Haikyuu as well. Not just that its fun but its filled with extremely varied, likable characters. Oikawa, every karasu members, atasumu brothers, wakatsohi, his coach everyone are so well written and memorable despite their short screen time (excluding karasu members).

Also looking at our ratings. (atleast the ones youve rated) we have 59% affinity but I dont see much difference in anime ratings. Except Bebop and Barakamon.

Long time no see brother. I forgot this site existed. Fortunately I have my manga reading site synced with MAL so it records if I read any manga immediately after I complete a chapter.

I dont really have a genre that I think is particularly boring coz there are chances that there will be some boring anime of the genre I love while there also can be lot of amazing anime of the genre I hate. Like I absolutely love Romance, SOL, Comedy, Drama but from the anime I didnt enjoy probably half of them comes from this genre if not more. And I dont enjoy action , fantasy anime at all but I love Fate, Berserk, and you know whats my favorite manga is. Though Ill say action is my least favorite genre especially when its supernatural + fantasy like most battle shounens are. But I do enjoy quite a few of them. And ya I dont really get thrilled by Sci Fi shows as well. There are hardly 2/3 shows I like that are Sci Fi but that can be coz I havent watch much from the genre so I dont want to judge.

HxH is a gold standard for a shounen. It does everything shounen is supposed to. I might not like it personally enough to call it one of my absolute favorites but lets be real there arent any shounen that are, except for Gintama. Among every shounen Ive watched it probably ranks in maybe 4th after Gintama, Haikyuu and JoJo's Part 4. Will say 4th is btwn FMA and HxH. Though I didnt know you hated Made in Abyss. Man I cannot glaze that anime enough, I absolutely love it. Only thing that puts me off are some character decisions which isnt too big of a deal coz they are literally childs. From setting to world building to adventure to characters to osts its pretty perfect anime. As best as the adventure anime can get for me. It also has probably my favorite ep 1 in all of anime. The ending when Riko and Meg climbs up to the top and Riko tells Reg about the "Abyss" is absolutely amazing scene. Perfect visuals with perfect soundtrack.

I dont think HxH is anything like that untill it reaches Heavens Arena arc. Untill then its just another basic adventure shounen.

Talking as someone who used to go crazy for chess at schools. I think there is a ceiling you cannot cross as a casual payer. There is a certain point maybe around 1800 elo that you cannot get any better by just playing and not actually trying hard to learn and study chess. I literally have no motivation to learn chess as I know it does nothing good as learning chess is painfully long process and Im already almost 22. It takes hella fking time.

I really dont think this "pure" has anything to do with smoking and drinking. Dont think its as bad as people make it out to be. If you just smoke, dont harm anyone and just do your stuffs then thats completely fine by me. I have watched hundreds of amazing anime and hundreds of absolute garbage but what I cant watch is boring animes. I have no problm with watching stupid cringe animes even I think its shit but I cant watch anime that makes me sleep. I think Gin no Saji is pretty cool anime but I dropped it once after ep 2. Took me 2 days to watch 2 ep. But I actually binged all of the Akame Ga Kill in one day even thou I hated it from very beginning.

I have read its one chapter after its release. Lmao forgot it existed. I actually really loved the chapter one. I remember it being a parody as well. Dont know if I will but its one of the mangas that I will give a try as soon as I get back to reading.

I used to be pretty good at studies (especially maths) so I used to practice chapters that teacher said he would teach us 2 months later. And after 2 months I used to be the one teaching everyone in the class. That made me feel coler and superior to everyone in my class. I remember we played few games together a while back lol. I only play vs new bots that comes every once in a while. I play like 2/3 games every week. Ive never liked these kinda dudes. I have ton of frnds who smoke and do weed but there is lvls to it. Im fine with frnds who smoke, do drugs, smoke weed whatever in private and not do in public places like parks or roadsides like actual "gajedis" do. You can do whatever the fk you can with your life but do in private.

I didnt have those kinda frnds when I was a kid. All of my frnds were just obsessed with games and physical activities. But my frnds now do smoke and Im totally fine with them. Like Ive seen people say "Gintama gets better after 50 eps where the first serious arc begins" and as much as I love Gintama its just wrong. You can never like Gintama if you dont like its introduction to the wide cast of characters nd their relation to one another.

If I watch an anime for like 2/3 ep and drop it then I dont think I can make logical claim for it being particularly 'bad' but I can totally say 'I didnt like' or 'I didnt enjoy' and theres nothing that can stop me from doing so. First thing I want from anime is 'Enjoyment' and if I am not getting it for first few eps why should I watch it. There are way too much options to choose from. Why stick to something that you didnt enjoy.

I dont think any anime should be judged based on its starting eps. Ive made 3 preliminary reviews of shows I hated but I dont regret it coz I have same opinion on the show even after it ended. But same cannot be said to every anime. Honetsly speaking I wouldnt have liked Steins Gate if I watched it when it was airing for first 8/9 eps coz it was almost a snoozefest. But after watching its last half I understand how important the first half is as it pretty much builds up everything for the second half but just watching the build up can be fking painful. I do think you can get a surface level knowledge about whats shows is gonna be like but you can never know anything to the extent that you can make a review on it. Thats why I fking hate preliminary reviews. shows like One Piece, Hajime and other long ass mangas are the exceptions coz I dont think anything can change the show anymore as it is following a pattern for 1k chapters.

I dont think Ive ever felt "I love the instrumentals that I have to focus on it to the point I cant focus on lyrics anymore". Maybe its just me.

Man I get what you mean but I have a complete different opinion on this coz concept of Mushi is that "it can be literally anything." In a simple word Mushi is simply a form of life. It doesnt have a particular shape size and colour. It is just there and can be anything but most people dont know they exist so even though it sounds simple to understand what mushi is, it is lot fking hard to explain their existence and it can get a lot deeper. So that is makes every episodes fresh to me. Every episode you know a mushi is doing something to one villager but you dont know what or how it can be doing coz its so unpredictable as it has no particular characterstics. Like if mushi was said to be something like a parasite that takes over human brain then it wouldve been predictable coz thats the only thing that can do but Mushi isnt like that it comes in every shape every sizes and and as every form of life so you dont know how is Mushi affecting the person untill Ginko learns about them first. So In my opinion "it doesnt get new" isnt actually true. The concept of Mushi sure doesnt get fresher but it doesnt need to be fresher too coz it is 'anything' and its upto author to use the concept of Mushi in different ways, which she did.

not tryna go too long but simply put I love how Urushibara was able to make every ep different to one another with completely different characters and completely different problems and still make me care for the characters that Ive seen for like 10 min and I know Im never gonna see them ever again. Thats what I want fictional characters to be like. the protracted focus on the landscapes, the fitting background music ranging from cheerful melodies to darker haunty music, pacing of the show fitting perfectly with the atmosphere and the emotion of the character, and mostly the Ginko's calm nature just screams "there are lot of things wrong but everything will be alright" and that really makes me calm as well. All of these helped create this atmosphere of pure calmness and ease. and thats what most people like about it. Every anime uses visuals, music to make us feel what the person in the screen is feeling but how Mushishi does is just perfect.

Thats pretty surprising to me ngl. Music is a way of story telling. Just as anime or manga or movies or book or novels or any way you know of. What you said just know would feel same if you say "I dont take anime seriously coz there are background music and visuals to keep track of" saying this and what you said is completely same. Thats why I think "Books and Novels" is the best way to tell a story coz your attention is just limited to the contents the story presents. While things like Anime, Movies tell a story but also has things tht can take away your focus like music and visuals and it goes same for Music too. I dont have a right to judge you for your opinion on "Music" but what you said about the analytical effort distribution. It goes for any kind of story telling (thats not in text form) not just music.

I dont check for lyrics too if I think they arent worth checked. Like why should I CHECK a lyrics of a song when all I hear is "Work" and "Pussy". I dont think there is anything to look forward to. But there are some songs that just feels like it has lot of shits going on beyond its "melodies". and reading the lyrics of these songs and understanding it is what I love about music. At the end of the day its a way of story telling. And every piece of music has something to say. Some might be straight forward about love or ofc pussy and drugs while some might be more philosophical and though provoking.

Ive been into anime for half of my life as I remember and I never went out of my comfort and consume other medium but these few weeks have been a blast. I havent been this excted to watch a fiction for a long time now. This lvl of excitement I have for rl movies, the same amount of excitement for anime died like 2/3 years ago for me. Still love anime lot more than rl movies but I love this change Im having.
