| Really enjoyable first episode, looking forward to the rest of it. If not for the name of this anime I'm pretty sure the woke crowd would label Tomo as trans or gender-fluid. |

| To be honest I've forgotten most of the things that happen in the manga so it's like I'm diving down blind. Overall a great first episode. Takahashi Rie sounds amazing as Tomo. |

| As much as I am a huge fan of the manga.. this was exceptionally mediocre.. This adaptation just feels soulless.. Maybe I'm getting too many good adaptations of my already-read(red) manga like Mieruko-chan, My dress up darling, Take me to the Moon, Kaguya-sama etc that I was hoping that this adapatation would be special.. but much to my disappointment.. Its avg.. The anime missed some jokes and or miss the punchlines.. the VA for Jun and Tomo are nice but for the rest? debatable.. and What happened to Gundou black hair ffs.. I will give this a 7/10 for now.. just cuz its an adaptation of one of my fav manga.. but please don't fall anymore :/ |
| This caught my eye when I was going through seasonal stuff, and it already has a pretty high rating, so I guess I'm on board. Wow, okay... I feel like I got trolled. This is so straight forward and laced with misunderstandings. I really wanted to like this, but I feel like I won't. All of it feels like it's trying so hard. And, I hate to mention it, but, why does Tomo's snaggletooth change position just about every other scene? Details. They. Be. Important. I really, really hate dropping things... but I may have to drop this. Any Captains here? Does this pick up? I didn't laugh at a single scene. So this might just not be for me. And, it wouldn't be the first time I went through a whole series and gave it a 1. |

| The first ep was already hilarious and i didn't even plan to watch it but decided to give it a go anyway. Tomo actually is super good in karate and Jun does it as well, but Tomo wants Jun to see Tomo as a girl and not a boy. Misuzu is also an interesting character, I'm glad Misuzu is still friends with Tomo since the kindergarten. This is gonna be an interesting watch for the remaining of the season to see how Tomo will change as an character to more girl style, and hopefully Jun will begin to recognize it. |

| Damn, to think Takahashi Rie-san can sound like this is just incredible, lol. Seems like this will make for a fun watch. So far, I think I liked the childhood friend the most actually, xD. |

| Oh, yes. The first manga I started reading... and haven't finished yet. I'm so lazy when it comes to reading manga, honestly. Anyways, good start overall. Tomo and practically the entire female cast is what will carry this adaptation so I really look forward to seeing those amusing interactions in anime form. As for Tomo's voice, I was expecting her to sound more like Mordred. Sawashiro Miyuki's "tomboy-ish" voice is just too good so it was lowkey a shame she wasn't chosen for the role. Takahashi Rie is doing a decent job so far tho. And yes, Junichirou remains as stupid as I remember him. Not gonna lie, this manga/anime might be the only exception where I condone female violence towards a male. |

| MAAAAAAAAAN my first anime watch of January 2023. This will be a great and exciting journey through Tomo's feelings towards Jun - and Misuzu's silent and slightly awkward support. I expected an OP sung by Tomo's seiyuu, but this one is fine. Next season we will have some more!! Yay |

| After Anzu from Romantic Killer and now as Tomo, so i'm kinda used to this kind of voice from Rie Takahashi. Rina Hidaka not with her usual loli cute girl voice are amazing. This looks like another fun romcom. |

| That was actually really charming and cute! Misuzu reminds me way too much of Saki from Fruits Basket, and I find her meddling rather adorable. (^.^') |

| Rieri's voice acting in this episode was top notch, this anime is great, starts off with her confessing to the guy she likes only to be brozoned lol, turns out he doesn't see her as a love interest XD, it seems that her tomboyish personality came from her upbringing and the environment she grew up in |

It would be lovely if Tomo was accepted as a guy as her inner self is, and even has romance. Japan and anime really need to explore that side of world too. First episode was a bit of sad knowing Tomo feelings and seeing her forcing to become someone she isn't. Mate you are looking at the wrong show if you want trans representation. I have read the entire manga and Tomo is a straight girl during the entirety of it. You will be very disappointed if you are looking for any sort of trans representation in this work. |

| Really interesting show. Love that Tomo-chan is into martial Arts and was a Tom-boy since she was a kid. But makes me laugh that her childhood friend doesn't notice she is a girl or if he does he really good hiding it on this episode. Also love how other male characters notice she is a girl but not her childhood friend. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| I know that this series' whole gimmick is that every chapter of the manga is just one page long, but boy does that translate abysmally to a full-length anime episode format. The "humour" is repetitive and it all feels as disconnected as you would expect. On top of that, the "humour" just feels incredibly outdated and isn't that funny at all: "girl constantly beats up guy because he's so insanely, absurdly dense" is a relic that should have been left behind in the late 2000s. Incidentally, this show's view of gender roles and the whole idea that Tomo needs to act more "feminine" for Jun to actually use his brain and realise that the obvious girl is a girl feels pretty damn sexist. And that's not even to mention that Jun's apparent denseness is used as an excuse for him to inappropriately touch Tomo in a way that even guy friends wouldn't do: what guy would tickle their "bro" or slap their "bro" on the ass like Jun does in this episode. This show is very clearly not for me and really feels like a relic from an era of anime romcoms that I hoped and thought was long gone. |
