I just read your reply on the thread, sadly it's now locked, but I wanted to answer it still.

Some words I personally would choose instead of mediocre is... tbh anything else works xD from informal words like "mid," to lesser substitutes like "average," "bad (let's face it people use that word to say bad sometimes)," "second rate," or "forgettable," to something with actual substance like "not that good compared to (insert anime with valid comparable characteristic)."

Just my preferences haha, I simply don't like the word "mediocre" for various petty reasons 😂😂

Oh yeah, it's a bit of a fruitless labor, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Bit hard to gather an audience though it's mostly just practice for tackling some larger projects in the future

Did the Nier anime redeem itself towards the end? I'm still thinking of watching it, though I haven't played the games.

Last season was a bit dry yeah, but this one is looking up a lot more this time around :) New stuff coming around like new Demon Slayer season, new Idolmaster anime, new Megumin spin-off, etc. And apparently some new idol anime scored way higher than even FMA: Brotherhood which is weird haha

Oh snap sorry, forgot to reply in those turbulent months of the writing contest

Last season I was mostly on Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, Spy Family, and Mob Psycho 3. Will probably watch Bocchi eventually too with how much popularity it got out of nowhere
This new season is looking kinda lame though haha
Unless some surprise hit arises, probably only gonna be watching new Nagatoro season and maybe the Nier Automata anime. Wbu?
