It's about male characters fighting along side stronger female characters.

Sexy, cute girls who are violent and funny. The protagonist is a nice guy who is initially weak, but then builds up his power to achieve his goal of earning his dream girl's virginity. There is a lot of "accidental" undressing of the girls, much to the protagonist's delight. The protagonist is a lot more perverted than the guy from Freezing, which makes it refreshing in a way.

This Kinda have a similar feel I.S has less Eechi Scene but more harem but its opposite in Freezing Also they have a story kinda the same of Girl being the ones with Power but in Freezing there a limiters for boys I.S has nothing really

Both are panty-fighter shows, that is, with the heroines dueling each other until their clothes are shredded. Even when the heroines are clothed, the anime directors still insist on showing low-angle panty shots and exposed chests, along with the girls dressed in provocative clothing for their commercial breaks. Both series insist on giving the girls a nickname, a relative ranking (for Freezing), body measurements, weapon names, and special abilities, as if they were selectable characters for a video game. The male protagonist joins a school full of fighting girls, lacking abilities of his own at first, but developing some based on his lineage (from family members  read more

Both are strange mixtures of blood and nudity. Both have a lot of violence. Women are the ones fighting in both. Both also have dark flashbacks/back-stories in them.

Large, fearsome monsters regularly appear to destroy the world, only for a group of teenagers to fight back. Since NGE came first, most of Freezing’s story can be thought of as an imitation or tribute. Freezing’s Nova appear like NGE’s Angels, coming in numbered waves (Eighth Nova Clash vs. The 13th Angel). While NGE’s Angels take on different forms, the ones in Freezing generally look about the same as robotic figures, however, with each wave, they introduce new attacks. The Freezing field is similar to that of the AT field in NGE where it has to be penetrated or overridden in order to get in  read more

Girls that has been somehow modified to fight monsters. Quite similiar if you ask me.
report Recommended by Keita00
Girls who are physically different from the rest of Humanity and are pawns in the hands of forces beyond their control (and, for some part, understanding) fight with (apparently) no better hope than that of a painless death. Healthy amount of fan service. Dark mood. Enemies coming from The Outside. However, Cross Ange is considerably darker and the scope is likely to be broader.

Both are about mankind fighting off giant creatures about which they know next to nothing. Both are serious animes with no comedy. However, Freezing is ecchi while Shingeki no Kyojin isn't

-both anime have characters fighting each other in a "festival" to compete in strength and skills -both anime have schools with a ranking system -in both animes the protagonist enters the school due to his sister, who visited it earlier -they have similar genres -female main character wants to be the strongest to reach her own goal/wish -female main character doesn't let people close therefore they call her cold

Whenever there is a fight someones clothes will just begin to melt away.

I have spotted lots of similarities. Firstly, main blond, sexy woman charakter, confindent with cold, powerful look in her eyes as Aika. Bridgette L. Satellizer has special abilities and you see it at once, that she is superior to other female characters, has the greates strenght. Secondly, we meet lots of girls in the same school uniforms fighting. Moreover and the most important characteristing point is, that you can see their panties most of the time, almost all the time in different positions.

Both female leads are the strong and quite type. Both also have a lot of action and dark flashbacks/back-stories in them.

Finding for an anime with similar fight scene with frequents exposures just like Seikon no Qwaser? Here's the deal. I'd dare say, Freezing is much better!

A battle school harem series with an strong superhuman threat to humanity. Also features a very diverse cast of female characters.

Similarities: Both of the exhibits a sotacon complex ( older girl to younger man). Both Feamle lead have special abilities, but has to relay on the male lead for their addtional abilities. And, aside from pant shots there were also nipple shots as well in both animes. Disimilarites: The addtional genre in "Kanokon" is comedy and superntural, while in "Freezing" the addtional genre is Action, sci-fi and shojo. The main female lead in "Freezing" trys to avoid his male lead at frist, while in "Kanokon" it is the feamle lead who steps into the male lead's life. The female lead in "Kanokon" is a tease, while the female lead in freezing  read more

Shocking that these two weren't already recommended There exceedingly similar shows, i.e boy who happens to have special power meets girl in need, they're done in different ways however. In both stories echhi is a prominent factor (a plot device in dakara!) and both have action, however, dakara has more comedy, while freezing lacks in that department. However, the yang to the comedic yin, is freezing is wildly more gruesome with its violence, while as dakara's fights (while very common) often do not go to the extremes to which freezing went.

Both main girls are cold with a sad past, but they are they are being kind toward the main guy.

Both are about group who work for self interest rather then working together to stop the real threat of the Monsters.
report Recommended by komic
While both series are of different plots, what they share in similarities are the character designs and settings, all thanks to the genius at making shonén/seinén manhwa Im Dal Young. Both series contain action, superpowers, gore and fanservice that even the anti-fanservice lobby can't complain about. So if you like one, I suggest trying out the other....and if you need more, then try his work on manhwa.

They are both a harem, school animes with Freezing having a stronger ecchi content. They are both about students with special powers that give them weapons and the two main male characters have uncommon powers to the rest Freezing has a artwork similar to that of highshool DXD, so is a bit diferent to the more moe type anime that is Absolute duo. The genre of Freezing quite diferent, it is a sci fi human versus giant alian plot type, but it still has those acadamy in fighting we see in absolute duo and the typical harem in fighting over the male character Freezing is a more  read more

Both series center around super-powered girls who can materialize weapons to fight evil beings and whose powers are linked to another person close to them with romantic/ecchi undertones. In both, the girls fight each other in power struggles for their own goals and to escape sinister fates.

Both are very good action/ecchii anime. Both have lots of girls (fanservice) and characters with special powers. Both are kind of set around a school theme. Both great anime to watch.

Honestly I cannot believe no one made this recommendation sooner. 1st thing I told all my buddies after seeing episode one was if claymore and mamoru had a kid it would be freezing. All three have rediculously powerful female characters that transcend the normal limits of their world's understanding. Likewise all three main heroines have a significant relationship with a male character that becomes significant to the heroines fate in the story. Freezing is kind of balence for the other two. Where Claymore has the intense combat scenes, Mamoru focuses on the heroines inexperience with men and trying to  read more

both have a main male main character with strong abilities. both are set in a academy with students in a team (CSR) or pair (Freezing). both also hide there abilities by not realizing (Freezing) or on purpose (CSR)

Both anime feature a strong female protagonist that meets and teams up with the less strong male lead. Both feature non-fictional individuals with powers, however Witch Craft Works deals with magic, while Freezing employs technology (although the technology is so fantastical it does border on the edge of technomancy).
report Recommended by Bellat0r
Has the baseline of a similar theme with a school, involving super powers, with the main characters fighting against an alien threat. Also shares similar ecchi elements.

+ Making by same studio + Alot action + Fanservice everywhere (you can skip if you want) + Harem element + Kazuya-Satellizer & Kiriko-Keiichirou IMO is similar, both protecting is each other when in dangerous just like lover but not actually lover. Also they must dealing with some intruder in their realtionship (Linchen Rana & Chiharu)

Freezing is like Girls Bravo but with more action and battles! Oh and a storyline! Around the same level of Ecchi but Freezing has more action in it while Girls Bravo centers on Ecchi mostly :3 If you liked either season of Girls Bravo, You will most likely enjoy Freezing :3
report Recommended by Chobitslover98
Both are ecchi animes packed with action scenes and include some sort of superpower. Both also present cooperation between boy(s) and girl(s) in fights. Although campione is a little softer on the ecchi side (tends a little bit more to romance sometimes) they`re both very enjoyable.

a group of girls fighting each others and fell in love with a guy. the difference is in freezing is more on sci-fi while imamori himari is supernatural. but the atmosphere is the same. really worth watching.

Both are action animes where humans with supernatural ability fights with other supernatural beings. In both animes, the humans who fight with those supernatural beings are in a group of 2.Tho black bullet is not ecchi, the action is kinda similar in both series.

If you enjoyed the action in Accel World The female fighters in Claymore The plot of Evangelion The weapons of Guilty Crown and Infinite Stratos And a bit of harem Freezing combines all of those into one new anime

In both anime's they are fighting an unknown "alien" spieces. In Freezing, "pandoras" are the only ones that can defeat the creatures, while in Sidonia no Kishi, pilots of robots called Gardes are the only ones capable of fighting the aliens.

I can't believe people haven't recommended this yet, cause they are very similar to each other. Both have the same setting in future where people battle against aliens, and there is a lot of blood and gore. They also have sci-fi elements in it and Freezing has a lot of ecchi. Both main protagonists have special abilities superior to those around them. So these shows are practically the same.

Well it deals with aliens first off. Its also about girls enhanced through medical and surgical means to be in super human. Its also ecchi however I enjoyed Byrnhildr in the darkness a little more than freezing. Similarities -Ecchi/ harem - Aliens -medically enhanced female characters -naive airheads that had bad pasts -tits.... They're everywhere 😑 Differences -One they are actually fighting the aliens in one of them -They are both pretty serious anime that sometimes has a light feel but get darker as the show goes on

There is a fight every episode, both main characters have troubled pasts, and a lot of clothing does come off.

-Both animes are about working with their one and only partner that they searched or met coincidentally to be able to fight after getting involved -Both are romance, school life and contains ecchi -Both builds a deep bond between the two

Girls with super powers fighting each other, both have their sexual sides to the story but Kampfer has it a bit stronger, while Freezing has more nudity. Both involve a guy that doesn't really want to be involved. Bottom line....if you liked freezing you should really watch Kampfer

hayami= satellizer hinata=rana kazuya=takuma in both anime, the male protagonist are interested on unusual girl, both of the unusual girl have dark past and many secret.
report Recommended by shast007
In these two anime, the girls are stronger than the boys, and usually the boys are only assistants to the girls.

When i saw Freezing for the first time my mind just went to Fate Stay Night....i guess i find Saber and Brigette similar...and in both anime the girls are the ones protecting the boy and theres some romance in both so, i`m sure that if you liked one you`ll like the other one too.
report Recommended by LadyEclair
Both feature two main characters that work together in a pair, similar to the rest of the paired characters. In Zero no Tsukaima, Louise summons Saito as her familiar, a servant/companion of sorts. In Freezing, Satellizer crosses paths with Aoi, who becomes her Limiter, a battle partner of sorts. The similarities could be a bit of a stretch, but if you like one you'll probably like the other.
report Recommended by debonair1111
Female fighters who have a male partner for support. In both cases, the females are certain powered entities who have a difficult fate potentially awaiting them, and they share a link to the first of their kind.

Aliens are out to destroy the world. Females with special abilities are fighting against them so that man kind can continue living. The theme of protecting those one cares about is big to.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Both shows have rather dark, morbid tales which deal with tragedy, not to mention sci-fi elements.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Very similar story lines and very similar concepts and yet they are different at the same time. I won't go into detail as I don't wish to provide spoilers for those who haven't seen on or the other.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Although on the surface extremely different, and not necessarily for everyone who liked the other, both stories are actually rather sweet tales of coming out of one's shell and falling into a slow, but very much deeply-held love. Although Sawako never flipped out and chopped the people picking on her in half (while Sattelizer does) the adorable refreshing/freezing romantic comedy that drives both are surprisingly similar.
report Recommended by Enderesonix
Both series have a lot of fanservice (NSFW) but also some funny moments as well and some entertaining fight scenes. The first episode of each series might seem to imply that the whole show has excessive violence, but it's not as bad as some reviews say it is.

In both anime, Earth is terrorized by creatures from another dimension; the Nova in Freezing, and the Z/X in Z/X: Ignition. In Freezing, human males must pair up with females known as Pandora (who are humans genetically modified using Nova DNA) In Z/X, humans must pair up with other Z/X; of which most are humanoids. Also, the final enemy in Z/X, Audium, looks very similar to the Nova from Freezing. And for most part of both anime; the characters prefer to fight amongst each other; while only during the last few episodes, the anime focus on the real threats. The major difference is that Freezing is extremely ecchi and  read more

Freezing feels very similar to Juuou Mujin no Fafnir: - Girls with special powers? Check. Genetically modified vs special powers. - One guy who gets all the girls? Check. Very powerful guy vs the only guy. - World threatening monsters? Check. Nova's vs dragons. - Special academy? Check. No difference here. - Imminent danger the girls themselves become monsters? Check. Nothing different here either.

Both anime feature girls equipped with advanced technology and weapons who fight apocalyptic robots.

Both have the same feel, although Freezing focuses more on the story and action rather than the comedy and romance.
report Recommended by CoolBreeze
Both shows involve big-breasted girls selected to possess special powers and fight in wars. They also both take place in a non-modern setting: Freezing in the future, Madan no Ou to Vanadis in the past.
report Recommended by Gabii-Tachibana
Both are about boys and girls specially selected to possess certain powers that will allow them to summon special weapons and fight against monsters. There's also a lot of boobs in both (though World Break technically isn't ecchi, like Freezing is)
report Recommended by Gabii-Tachibana
Both animes are about pairs of people who have to fight together to defeat Demons/Extradimensional creatures. In Soul Eater one is the weapon and the other the weapon meister. In Freezing the woman can make a weapon and has special abilities while the man/boy can immobilize the enemy. The art styles are different, though, and Freezing is more mature.
report Recommended by madara1212
Both are dark action series focused around primarily a weaker boy with a physically and mentally strong female lead character. If you enjoyed one, you'll enjoy the other because both have a lot of gore and dark backgrounds though Freezing has less arcs and focus more on character's relationship. Both involve military style operations but Freezing has some sci-fi as well as a lot of fan service not present in Black Lagoon.
report Recommended by yngtadpole
Both houses girls who can kick some serious ass. Obligatory major fanservice as well.

same level of ecchiness, battles are usually girls against girls, both series have main male protagonist who is special, both have school setting...

Freezing and Mahouka are just about the same show from setting to characters. Set in the near future, they take place in a high school where people of special abilities come together to study in a specialized course. Instead of working together, they have an pecking order of over who is better than who and everyone is narrow-minded about their social status. This leads to civil disputes that gets old quickly with "OMG, STOP SHOWING OFF. I'M YOUR SENPAI" or "Learn your place! My skills are far greater than yours!" only to be humiliated later.
