Both are very good action/ecchii anime. Both have lots of girls (fanservice) and characters with special powers. Both are kind of set around a school theme.
Both great anime to watch.
It may not be all blood and horror, but it does have a lot of ecchi. And the idea is formatted around a school of fighters who summon weapons similar to the way they do in freezing and fight each other.
