I've been a long time anime fan. I watched the original Ghost in the Shell movie shortly after its western release in the 90s, and have loved anime ever since.

I like most kinds of anime, but I do value story and entertainment above all else. However, I do prefer anime that are lighthearted with humour, or clever plots. Feel free to recommend something you enjoy in the comments below.

I usually only watch the English dub of anime, but I will watch the Japanese dub with subs if a popular show doesn't seem like it'll get localized.

I'm also a long time gamer and have a strong affection for RPGs, Persona 4 & 5, Borderlands 2 + 3, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Baldur's Gate 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition being some of my favourites. Feel free to add me as a friend on PSN.

In terms of music I like most things, but do have a nostalgic sweet spot for most 80s, 90s rock. However, for me my all time love will always be Nirvana, Metallica and Rammstein (controversy aside I still like the music.)

Thanks! And yes, I have a lot of friends who absolutely hate it, but it really is a fantastic anime. It pulled off a style that's really hard to do, and somehow made it's aspects a lot better than most anime I watch.

Yours is also nice. :) That's right, the surreal and slice of life then dark feels between them are really similar XD

The anime is definitely not as good as the manga. You might hear that phrase about almost every anime, but it's true here as well. They don't even mention a lot of things that are critical to the plot! If you enjoyed the anime you will absolutely love the manga.

Deadman Wonderland... I didn't really enjoy the anime (mostly because I kind of hate the MC, Ganta) but I love the concept of the prison and all, it's pretty cruel. Maybe I'll check the manga sometime, be sure to tell me how is it if you'll start before me (;

Well, I don't read too much manga either (as you can see~) but my first one and the best I have ever read is Fullmetal Alchemist. If you want to start with a great manga read it, it's fucking amazing! I also highly recommend Claymore and Onepunch Man. If you want to know more about any of them, you can always ask me. Enjoy! (:

Thank you for your compliments. What's funny is that I consider most of my reviews really crappy in hindsight, with the Penguindrum review being one of the few that I consider not all that bad.
