White Album 2

What do you get when two girls fall in live with the same guy? School Days is fairly similar to White Album 2 with the only major difference being that the main characters of WA2 prefers running away from their problems. But WA2 does not take it too extreme like what School Days did.  

Emotional love triangle underpinned by a trio that has trouble reconciling feelings and friendships. 

In both of these anime music plays a large role in the development of characters and romance. There is also plenty of drama and feels. Differences include White Album 2 being more on the serious side, while Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso tends to be a little less serious through its addition of comedy. 

White Album 2 and Kuzu no Honkai are both about exploring love triangles (or love webs), or perhaps more accurately, how deeply flawed high school students go about establishing romantic relationships with others. Both shows do it in a very artistic way, and really brings out the inner thoughts and feelings of the important characters. These shows have intense emotional outbursts and the mood is not always (in fact, almost never) happy-go-around.

I heard these two compared and contrasted on a forum as something along the lines of "one is about three friends unselfishly seeking friendship and finding love; the other is about three friends selfishly seeking love and finding friendship". I'll let you decide how true that is after having watched it but I did feel these two were semi similar. The biggest similarity is the dynamic of the three main characters, a male and two females (and the two girls are sort of parallels character wise), and the unspoken feelings between the three of them. I think Oregairu does an overall better job character and story wise, but I still enjoyed the revelations in WA2 and its story and characters. Melodrama and love triangles reign supreme in these two romance infused shows. 

It's a story of romance and teenage angst. Both have shown to be more realistic than having standard archetypes for both protagonist and heroines. Both also deliver a very compelling story with strong music. In differences, True Tears looks more stronger in terms of animation and coloring, but White Album 2 seems to have the stronger soundtrack. However, it is based around music at first, so having weak music would've been a huge negative. If one wants compelling, yet dramatic love stories, these are definitely good together.

Both deals with love triangle. The main character sometimes becomes indecisive which often leads to more confusion. Both of the MCs are good in study. If you liked WA2's wintery atmosphere, then you will like the warmth of spring in Oregairu.  

Series the contain love triangle relationship between the male lead and main female characters. The two shows are strikingly similar in their mature portrayal of relationship development. Characters make decisions in a realistic way, even though these decisions may seem despicable and may end up hurting other people.  

excluding the teacher-student relationship, both anime does focus on the most serious side of romance, as both male protagonist find their way to find their true feelings 

The plot are amazing, intense drama and appealing and they will make your heart shambles. If you are a fan of Romantic Drama scenes with a bit of Comedy these two anime should be worth watching to you. These two are masterpiece in their own story. I might says. "DO NOT JUDGE THE BOOK BY ITS COVER" If you want to feel what I've felt then watch this. 

After watching White Album 2, do you have a taste for characters suffering? Well, look no further! Like WA2, Nana is also music-based, but that's not the main focus (though Nana has better songs). Nana is very strong in the drama/romance department, with believable characters making a mess of their lives, similar to WA2. Both start off lighter in tone, and then fall away into darkness. If you liked what you saw in WA2, I advise you to hop over to Nana-land immediately... and be prepared to shed black tears. 

Even though the shows have very different settings, the dynamic between the male main protagonist and the 2 female characters ( one being the cherful silly character, the other the more distant "coldish" character" feels excactly the same. If you like one of these shows for the romantic dynamic I highly recommend checking the other one out. I´ll admit that the cheerful character in Kokoro can get annoying. therefore the show includes a larger count of main character and therefore more interaction and impact the whole lovetriangle has on the group. tl;dr If you liked the love triangle in one of these, check out the other :) 

Koi to Uso has the most similar vibes to White Album 2 that I've watched since then. It's not only the love triangle, but the betrayal that will inevitably come between friends (in this season, and especially if there is a second season). The difference in this anime is that the betrayal is overt and accepted between everyone, which is strange in a way but the concept of the government choosing a partner for you is also different. Potentially White Album 2 without the musical aspect.  

Well-known students unlikely to interact come together with their specific talents and ideals to create something that will serve as a milestone in their lives as youths. The cast of Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata strive to collectively create an eroge whereas the characters of White Album 2 unite to form a band. However, drama becomes more prominent as the series progresses when the heroines fall in love with the protagonist. The main character can only choose one to become his lover, which will break the hearts of the others and threaten the stability of the project everyone holds dear. 

First thing I would like to let you know is that I am a Slice of Life with romance. 1) I have seen so many anime series of genre Slice of Life but they are 100% School oriented but in these series, Slice of life comes out of School life. 2) Male Main character both suffers and they are not clear out their feeling.  

Both series focus on dramatic love triangles with a more serious and mature vibe. It's all about the swaying emotion of the heart, and the unfortunate circumstances and misunderstandings it brings the characters. Also while White Album 2 uses music, KimiKiss uses film.  

In both shows, the story focuses more on the drama between the main love couple after confession, rather than the build-up to confession. Both shows are heavy on both romance and drama and also deal with the more negative side of relationships  

Love is more often than not, a painful and bittersweet experience. Mature depictions of love is something often taken for granted in anime, these two pieces showcase the best of what the genre has to offer. 

This anime attracts the romantic loving fans,both animes have tear-jerking love story. A love story that cannot be complete if u love one u automatic have the other. 

Both are music related, but white album 2 focus more on the unrequited love, it's essentially more romance based with really good ost, and openings. 

love triangle,unstable male protagonist struggling to choose the one he loves - the two animez are really similar in this aspect. if u liked the drama in white album 2 you'll probably like it here too 

On the surface, these two anime share nothing in common. One is a about a boy who swaps genders while the other is a boy who wants to play music. I find these two anime rather similar because they carry heavy themes of an important choice in your life. This choice must be made quickly if you wish to have a choice at all and switching choices will inevitably hurt somebody. 

Both works shows romance dealing with love triangles with a heavy drama atmosphere. 

Very similar concept and plot: three characters interested in one thing forming love triangle in the process. WA2 is about music, while HSG (I'm taking the whole series, meaning I + Extra Stage + II) is focused on arcade gaming. 

Surprisingly mature takes on the concept of growing up and finding your place in the world. Both feature thoughtful, introspective dialogue and use the soundtrack not as an accessory, but as the main weapon in conveying the mood and emotional value of each scene. Keep in mind that you do not need to watch the first White Album before jumping into White Album 2. They are separate stories. 

Scholar romance anime, both with love triangles although Kami Nomi develops it on the last season while WA has only one season. The endings are different in the original sources since the story continues, but in terms of the series adaptation both have the "bad" or sad ending.  

There are so many semilarities between these two animes. I am quite surprise that anyone hasn't make this recommendation yet. -Both have a lovetriangle. -both have a Mr.nice guy as a protogonist. -In both anime, there is a cold, stone-hearted girl who is very passionate about her talent. And also in both anime that girl has a traumatic past. -White album 2 is about music, Suzuka is about sports. -Both have good art. I am sure if you liked one, you will like the another. 

If you enjoyed this OVA (or Kyou's route of the game) then you will appreciate the dynamic among the cast of White Album 2. Both Clannad and White Album 2 are presented in such a way that you feel sympathetic for the entire cast. Even though you may have a personal favorite girl, you don't wish the worst for the other girl. The characters are flawed but not unlikeable. The protagonist has to accept the fact that he can only be with one of the girls who loves him. 

Both are romance but with the fair amount of hardships along the way. There is also something that makes you feel frustrated with the romance while watching, but it's done in a way that you'd want to know what happens next. 

Both are about high school groups forming a band of some sort. The prequel White Album is also about idols as well. They both show how the groups grow. 

The 3 main characters of Asura Cryin' are similar and gives-off the same vibes as the 3 main characters of White Album 2. They seems to have the same face but not stature.  

•both anime focus on a music club in highschool, where all the members join in accordance to their own reasons, but music is the main reason that brought them all together •both are heavily focused on music, which surrounds each episode with beautiful contrasts to the emotions the characters are feeling •both plots are differently focused, in which WA2 focuses on the romantic side, while TT focuses on the dramatic, all the while music flows and envelops each episode, enhancing the suspense •they are very similar in the group of students joining a music club to be the best at what they do, while focusing on each of the protagonists emotions and pasts, you will like one if you like the other, even if not for the plot, the music enraptured me in the beginning of each episode. read more 

•both anime mainly focus on the relationships between each one of the main protagonists •both protagonists are different in age, so the maturity of each emotion that is verbally said or through meaningful actions is completely different, though there are similarities •both show the deep connection between friendships and the 'lines' that can/cannot be crossed, until the relationship 'lovers' be shown •both show the love triangles in many different ways it can be approached, while some are just left hanging, or some take the aggressive nature and take a leap of faith •both anime settings are mostly situated in schools where everything develops, •they are very similar if you like the slice of life genre, with love triangles and emotions that you can relate to, or understand the heartache is can have affect on oneself during their school life, you might like one, if you liked the other. read more 

One thing I want to get cleared up: something about White Album, the first two seasons (or rather, the first adaptation of it) is one solid fact: it only makes a very small reference to White Album 2. Whether or not you skip it is up to you, but you won't miss out on very much. There's no guarantee we'll even remotely be on the same page for this one, but bear with me. Both of these shows are dramas, and to an extent, harems. They had a strange feel to them that made them seem similar to one another, but while most would disapprove of Yosuga no Sora for its incestual themes, I think of White Album 2 as what Yosuga no Sora would be, without the topics that most of us wouldn't want to ruminate over. read more 

the story takes 10 years after the first season, different chatacters also plots and soundtracks are really bapering (bapering isn't even a word) lol 

Both are very serious, contemplative romances with people acting reasonably realistically. Both use stage performance as an integral part of narrative (Aoi Hana - stage drama, White Album 2 - music concert). Both can be very, very sad. And both are worth watching - but only if you wanna have your heart crushed. 

Both feature a love triangle although Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next is a lot less serious. They also appear to both be about a Love triangle (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next is more similar to a harem though) and the effects a love triangle could bring to an important friendship, but White Album 2 is deeper. If you enjoyed White Album 2 and overall love a good romance then you will at least be entertained by Next. 

Both stories are romantic oriented, dealing with characters traumatic experiences, loneliness, familiar conflicts, friendship and love triangles are highly recurring themes. Also the main characters share some similarities, though White Album 2 has darker personalities, while those from Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate are light hearted. Great comedic/happy moments, as well as heavy sentimental changes, same feeling through the whole storylines. 

There is the love triangle and only one girl gets the guy. White Album 2 deals with the love triangle in a more mature manner while Ao Haru Ride follows the typical love triangle story line. 

The two heroine are hardworking and also considered a natural talent.. The Mc is preety average and has to struggle all the time to move even a step forward toward his dream.. Their talent and circumstances get in-between their love life... The anime is filled with jealousy, hate pain mischief and dilemma in choosing between the two though a clear choice can be seen in Sakurasou than in White Album 2... The Reality of life and how wasted time affects our relation are partially focused.. The  

The two series are similar to the skeleton. But have different body parts. The two share a sort of fated meeting of a future lovers couple. Whereas one deals with music, the other deals with voice acting.
