Hello. I wanted to write something but the thread got deleted quickly lol. I only read your comment. I agree with the sjw/woke stuff, in my case, I don't even consider them anime fans in the first place unlike many people, many of them have pretty racist attitudes towards everything that Japan produces, not only Anime....Manga, visual novels, light novels and even Japanese games. MAL has some users like that but at least they are not the majority.

The other point I disagree a bit since many people exclusively watch selected genres, they are only fan of only 1 show but it isn't common besides DBZ or One Piece or they don't watch old/new Anime. I still consider them Anime fans (even the ones I mentioned) but they are more like a casual Anime fan rather a full Anime fan. I honestly don't care much.

The only people -as I said- I don't consider Anime fans are the woke/sjw people since they are just potentially dangerous people to the point they probably harass others to hide their true colours. I had an incident 2 years ago where I was falsely accused of being a pedophile because I called some MHA characters hot, I got banned for a while in the server and the previous year, they told me the same mod who banned me was sending inappropriate images to a minor. Such sick people.

Sadly yeah that is true which sucks cuz there's a surprisingly good uptick of upcoming VN translations coming out (mostly thanks to Shiravune)

Probably doesn't help most weebs/gamers tend to prioritize 'real' games OR anime over VNs.

I for one will likely be hooked on VNs for the long run, and continue to make videos to help keep the scene alive.

Thankfully Discords are still around for me to stay active-ish in the community.
