Mixed Feelings
Oh wait, this probably isn’t the 13th episode of Tensura Nikki, I thought to myself, while soon coming to the conclusion that yes, this was just a recap.

Retelling the events of the second season, we have the rather upbeat and refreshing voices of Ifrit and Veldora to guide us along the way, rather than a standard narrator spoon-feeding us information of which we probably already know, and that’s probably the only notable thing I took from this recap. Even though I do believe this recap wasn’t needed, it does serve as a pretty neat reminder seeing as the second season is a split cour.

Ever wondered what a cross between sport and a survival game would be like? I’m pretty sure no ones actually thought that question, but hey look no further, Blue Lock is here and it does just that, in a way.

From the onset, Blue Lock differs from what other sports mangas strive to do. It clashes with the notion of teamwork in sport, it instead asks questions about how important could ego and more importantly could greed be is in sport (football in this case). I believe this is a risky approach, on one hand it’s easier to see everyone’s true colours, as they’re taken ...

Mixed Feelings
Well, Season 4 is currently airing so I figured it would be a good time to return to the series and subsequently have a go at my first review.
If you’re going to be critical, I beg you cut me some slack.
Now moving onto the story aspect, and there really isn’t much to talk about. It features Hawk as well as the rest of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins happily going about their day-to-day lives, just as what you’d pretty much expect from any other OVA. And speaking of expectations, umm yeah *clears throat*. To put it simply, it does not disappoint.
