Ranman has stories that will make you think. So does Shiroi Kumo. Both are collections of short stories that make you happy, sad, stupid, refreshed, relived, etc. If you liked one of these, then you will probably like the other.

Collections of short stories both being very coherent in shifting the atmosphere from dark to somewhat silent to surreal. Quite psychological for the most part focusing on real deep topics like life.

These mangas have absolutely nothing in common in terms of characters, story plot or art... BUT both are perfect examples of what drama in real life is. Both of them will make you cry at the end and think of life from a positive perspective at the same time.

Bioth are simple, slice of life stories that make one think about life in new ways.

Both are touching manga with cute art. Both were created Hisae Iwaoka.

Plot wise these series may have nothing in common. It is the feelings they invoke, the depth of these feelings that makes both these series shine. Masterfully narrated. The subtle changes, like rain on a spring day, eventually overtake the reader. Sometimes the little things in life are to be appreciated. Life and love. Aren't they what make the world go round?
