In both series the protagonists get a chance at changing certain events of their past. While one struggles to save certain people of his past, the other struggles to save himself.

In both series, the main protagonist gets the chance to make changes about his past life. This takes them to high school where they meet former classmates and acquaintances. As the story progresses, we learn more about the past life of the main protagonist and the experiences they've shared with others. ReLIFE is more known for its experimental approach with much more comedy and subtle romance. Ore ga Doutei wo Sutetara Shinu Ken ni Tsuite also has romance but contains more mature context with some sensible concepts.

Both series involve male main characters that skip back in time to high school as a second chance in life to resolve previous concerns/regrets they hope to change their lives for the better.

'A Distant Neighborhood' is basically 'About How I Die if I Lose My Virginity' aimed at an older audience. They both have almost the exact same premise: men looping back in time to when they were still teenagers in school, with their adult memories still intact. However, they have very different focuses. Distant is more of a... nostalgic mid-life crisis. It explores the family life of its lead and if he can change what happened to his father and mother, using his memories and adult perspective. Time looping similarities aside, the one aspect that connects the two series is how, with the maturity and post-puberty calmness  read more

In both the MC's are stuck in a "timeslip" and must make changes in the past in order to protect/change the future. In Ore ga Doutei wo Sutetara Shinu Ken ni Tsuite the MC must prevent his friend from killing him in the future. In Wagatsuma-san wa Ore no Yome the MC needs to ensure he marries the most attractive girl in school.

These two manga are similar with regard to their romance and drama elements. I can't say anything in detail or I might ruin the story for everyone, but I would say that they both contain a certain feeling that you get when you see the MC trying his best to be with the girl he likes or helping his friend.

In both series, it involves a normal male protagonist whose life is changed forever after one day. They also both involve cases of altering future events based on prior knowledge. The series also involves the male protagonist who tries to set everything right but often times runs into various obstacles. The events from their past also becomes a source of their own conflicts. Both series adapts some psychological themes along with drama, romance, and supernatural tendencies.

* Both has a male protagonist * Both goes back in time Mujaki is more loli-oriented + shota, in Ore ga Doutei it is more oriented in High school. While Mujaki certainly in my opinion has more ecchi, Ore ga Doutei has some too but not a abundance of it. I'd say Ore ga Doutei is more plot-oriented as well with a clear goal.

1. Both have Stories related to death of loved one 2. Both travel to past 3. Has romance included 4. So addictive that you won’t stop reading

Both have prominent themes of regret, though each examines it differently. In Ore ga Doutei, the main character is allowed (forced?) to redo his life until he reaches a satisfactory result. In Jumyou, the protagonist must deal with the consequences of his past behavior. Leading characters in both must try to understand other characters in the context of their (the MCs) actions.

-Both manga revolves around the MC going to the past to change the future -One is about changing the future so he can save his ex girlfriend from middle school and another one is about the MC trying to stop events from happening that would lead to him being killed

Both mc deals with past mistake by traveling through time

Both main protagonists have multiple relations with many girls only caring about themselves. Even though both stories show a happy slice of life story between high school kids, there is a seemingly dark ending. Both manga's share Drama, Romance, ecchi, and seinen genre components.

The premise of both manga are centered around the protagonist (both named Kazuya, at that) dying and being given another chance at life. Umareru's protaganist sees this as an opportunity to benefit himself and lose his virginity...(In a way you'd expect only a scumbag to) In contrast, Ore ga Dotei's protagonist sees this as an opportunity to preserve it while aiming to, for the most part, help those around him while trying to benefit himself in the long run. (Don't get excited, this guy's a jerk too.) Both manga draw the reader in as the story unfolds and give them the ability to watch the character change  read more

In both, the male protagonist gains insight to a future that causes him anxiety.

Both manga have a dark feeling along the way when you read it but then when you reach the ending you'll be surprise. Well anyways the similarity in this two manga is that you expect the other girl.

Both of these titles revolve around male protagonists who try to change the direction of their lives when given a second chance to live. However, they are constantly haunted by the memories of the past.

Not what you expect of a harem, but the plot in both manga is like a visual novel in the truest of sense, in which mc has to navigate between different girls in daily interaction. With a deadly twist, though. If mc is not careful enough in his approach, he might just die, or cause some other people to die. In Ore ga Doutei, mc reborned after dying in his first life, to redo his life and make the right choices. In Shinigami to 4-nin no Kanojo, the mc is tasked with the mission of kissing one of the four girl in order to save her  read more

What can I say? If you're familiar with the premise of Quantum Leap, then you'll get an idea as to the plot device that's used. But instead of just going back to the past to save the future, our intrepid hero gets to go back to high school (where the motto seems to be "milk does a body good") and basically deal with the minefield of high school girls.
