Done by the same Mangaka and pretty much identical in art and other things, but is a completely different theme from Yankee but is enjoyable regardless.

Both manga has a male lead who are involved with 7 girls and the seven girls each has their own power which the male lead can use or "copy". The male lead both creates a harem out of these seven girls.

A guy (an otaku and a yankee respectively) who has never being with a girl have to go kissing every single girl he finds. The plot for TWGOK godesses arc and Yamada are the same. In TWGOK he has to kiss the girls in hir classroom to find who are the 6 goddesses while in Yamada he has to kiss the girls in his school to find the 7 witches.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
Both are about a guy and a group of witches surrounding him. They are very comic, have a slight harem romance touch and even look as if they were a parody of each other at times. Witch Craft have action packed into the mix too.

Both of these series revolve around school clubs whose members generally involve themselves in helping others. A spirit of comradery is presented, alongside lots of comedy and hints of romance.

The art in these 2 series is so similar that it makes you feel that Lucy and Natsu (appears around chapter 3) from Fairy tail are in school together. Also both series are involved with magic so they both should be a fun read if you are interested in that kind of theme.

Both of these serialisations follow the male protagonist whose life changes when a supernatural event occurs with the female protagonist.

altho characters are kind of different, Yamada-kun to 7-nin no majo and Mx0 have the same feel, which means that if you enjoyed one, you're likely to like the other. Both are Romance/comedy with something supernatural going around.
reportRecommended by Whmal
Both these school-based serialisations involve body swapping amongst a group of friends.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
- both are harem manga - in both manga MC's are delinquents but nice guys - both are highschool mangas

Taking place in a school life setting, Iris Zero and Yamada-kun has supernatural elements in their story. Both series' main female protagonists has an unique gift while there are also others with a variety of powers. There is a decent amount of characterization and relationship building as well in their stories. Later on, romance even blooms between the main characters as they learn more about each other. Do note that Iris Zero has a more psychological style of storytelling while Yamada-kun puts more emphasis in humor.

Basically if you like one you'll definitely like the other. Both have: - A similar sense of humor that makes you laugh on every other page - The main characters are both strong delinquents with a good heart that starts school in a new area. - The art is also very good. The difference is: - Yamada-kun has a more understandable plot than Oresama. - Yamada-kun has more romance in it - Yamada-kun has a sort of supernatural setting

Both follow characters who belong to the school's supernatural club. It should be noted however that Tasogare Otome x Amnesia is more plot heavy, whereas Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo is fairly episodic in content.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
- Both are supernatural RomComs where the MC is in love with the main heroine early on despite forming somewhat of a harem. - Both manga have a sort of mystery feel where the MC discovers several "secret powers" that the other characters have. - Both have high school settings that follow the characters until their graduation and have solid endings.

Kiss-based body-swapping hijinks! Need I say more? Being a story set in an all-girls school, Swap⇔Swap is much like a lighter version of Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo. Fans of either will likely find the other as a nice treat.

Body swapping fun!

It has to do with school and a witch. The powers might not necessarily be real from Boku but it brings the same amount of feeling and comedy. Only huge difference is the age gap.
reportRecommended by BentoLegend
They have the same sort of humor: Everything is exaggerated to the max. Student council members are like the big bosses that rule the school. If you break school rules you're basically dead. Kangoku Gakuen is, however, much more graphic and daring. TL;DR Same kind of humor, Kangoku Gakuen is just much more hardcore in every way.

Male character kisses his classmate and gets magic powers, both are looking for the other harem girls (witches/princesses). Requitted love for MC and classmate

Pretty Face and Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo remind me a lot of each other. For starters, they are both comedy/ecchi series revolving around a delinquent male MC suddenly becoming a woman. Rando, of Pretty Face, has a car accident and his upper half surgically transformed to appear like that of a female classmate. He soon discovers he has been modeled off his crush and must now pass as her estranged twin sister, all while trying to become himself again. Ryu, of Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo, falls on top of a female classmate and they suddenly switch bodies. He and the girl work out that  read more

A similar mystery surrounding both the schools 7 witches and the schools 7 mysteries.

Hilarious comedy manga! Both Yamada and Tsukiyoda are not the most clever guys, but still do thing the way they want. Both mangas are full of embarassing moments, weird humor, and waifu material. The mangas are based of an unbelievable idea, but it works so well! I find some of the characters similar to each other, too.

1) Both main character are "strong guys" 2) Both main character were delinquent 3) Both mangas have a lot of mistery 4) Both mangas have a supernatural theme 5) Both mangas are harem and rom-com

The male protagonist is almost identical in both series: athletic-but-clumsy, a hyper-active sense of justice and fairness combined with a casual disregard for the rules, and a willingness to throw their complete heart and soul into whatever task they feel is necessary. The two manga also share a sense of humor: moderately ecchi slapstick, premised around incredibly capable people being complete morons in the right circumstances.

It's all about the kissing, both mangas basically revolve around the subject. The process of kissing also leads to some subject or of power being released or some sort of more advanced process that happens that's more than just a kiss.

When it comes to supernatural abilities and witches, Junketsu no Maria and Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo knows its intentions. Both series crafts a story with magic elements that involves a witch as the main character. And although their personality are not entirely similar, they do have a big heart and is always willing to help those in need. Both series takes place in different settings and time periods. However, they have a colorful cast of characters where they all play some meaningful roles in the story.

Both Manga have students receiving powers and both are trying to find how and why they got the power and only from the school they attend have this abilities.
reportRecommended by AkatsukiUlquiora
Both are shounen, and involve a delinquent main character. Both also have supernatural happenings and body swapping, although there is a far greater aspect of it in Yamada-kun. However, the 2 mangas are quite different fundamentally. Yamada-kun focuses on mystery, suspense, adventure while Midori no Hibi is more on slice-of-life and romance.

If you want a shounen romance comedy manga, but you don't want the always the same harem manga, one of these should surely be your choice. Both protagonists are really funny school delinquents. The background of both stories are schools and involve characters from all the school, not only one boy with a lot of girls in love with him, everyne in the same classroom, and that's what makes these come out among the others! Two of my favorite mangas!

Light-hearted shounen romance titles that are not only set within a school setting, but is also driven with a supernatural theme.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
A Girl and a boy share an atypical bond that is triggered by kissing/saliva. The girl also is not your typical schoolgirl, somewhat strange in their own way.
reportRecommended by laststandb
What started out as a somewhat ordinary story in a school setting turns into unusual circumstances when supernatural elements gets mixed in. The premise of both series sounds different but the main character's circumstances feel similar. In retrospect, they become a girl and has to deal with their new reality. Throughout both series, there is a bit of romance that develops between the main characters. But because of the bizarreness of both series' themes, do expect some peculiar humor.

The guy is someone violent , the girl is.. a good girl (?) Like in Yamada-kun. In both mangas they start swapping bodies and to return to their normal bodies they have to kiss (chuu <3)
reportRecommended by Saki
They switch bodies in exactly the same way, and the characters are pretty much the same as well. Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo is a full series. This applies to the last one shot of Naisho ja Tarinai yo.
reportRecommended by niknetniko
Both have a lot of kissing to like, turn someone into something, I guess(a soda can to a girl, and swapping bodies).
reportRecommended by Dawntiger
It also involves swapping bodies. But instead of the person to have power to switch, its a mirror instead. and its also a romance XD
