Both mangas involve the love story between two men involved in the military. In HnB, the two are enemies due to their race and culture while MLwY shows the relationship between a soldier and his rescued victim who becomes an important part of the technical military. Both stories share the same vibe of an impassioned love story. Wheres MLwY spans one volume, HnB continues to grow from at least four scanlated volumes. HnB places more obstacles in the way of the two and their love grows more and more forbidden as the manga progresses. Both are excellent reads and deserves re-reads when finished. Read it. Both are by the same mangaka, and thus the art styles are similar. Both involve hard, explicit yaoi and carry the common theme of the seme being unable to control himself, and submitting to his lust.

Both kind of gave me a military/political/police feel. Beautiful stories and characters.
