A lot of the characters in Aoharu seem to be other characters from other shows with the creativity sucked out of them. Matsuoka is Tamaki without the charm. Hotaru is Nagisa Shiota except freaks out too much ruining the cool bloodlust trait and Yukimura is Konoha Kokonose but this time, an otaku. I find it to be an okay show but it's one of the worst this season. I certainly agree with you.
"Tachibana is one of the most irritating characters in anime" ..You need to get on watching more anime :/ Sure, she's annoying and terribly written but she's nowhere near that category.
Nice Donten ni Warau review! I loved it too even thought it isn't a masterpiece, and you got to judge it very objectively with its good and bad points.
