| So far, I quite liked it. I really like the lively colors and the animation; the pace is iffy but I think it correlates to the manga fairly well. The only problem I have is that they seem to make Haru a bit more... eccentric? violent? than what he was in the beginning of the manga. I'll probably re-read those chapters and see if I missed anything. |
| This is why I give EVERY anime a chance (only exceptions are shows with massive amounts of tasteless fanservice). This anime didn't even register on the radar after looking through previews. I've always had a soft spot for romantic comedies, but there haven't been that many good ones lately. I think this anime actually nailed it. Shizuku and Haru are basically total opposites of each other, yet they manage to work so well together. They are so far apart on the spectrum from each other that I am guessing there is going to be some great character growth. The anime is also narrated from the standpoint of Shizuku and is great to hear her thought process. To say that this anime had a good start is a massive understatement. I can see I will enjoy this one. |

| Like everyone else said, I agree that the pacing was a bit fast, specifically with the liking eachother and even the kiss, but it was really really good!!! This episode was a nice surprise; I originally wasn't expecting all that much but now I'm really excited for this show. Haru is absolutely adorable omfg (besides the violent parts but ya he is otherwise) Does anyone know how long it'll be? |

| Loved it. As someone who read the manga, the first episode is off to a great start. Brains Base did an exceptionally awesome job at the character design, and the script is freaking hilarious. I have faith that this show will be fantastic and leave a mark in what defines 'shoujo' anime. I believe this will probably have about twelve episodes, maybe more if we're lucky. We already have a kiss in the first episode, which in the manga didn't occur until like a few chapters in, so I think they're trying to keep up the pace. Either way, I already have fallen in love with anime-Haru <3 Now I hope Sukitte Iinayo will be good, I've read that manga as well. But TNK is absolutely awesome, I'm very happy with it! |

| How much of a cliche can this show be? We are introduced to another dere character--initially seemingly apathetic, but turns out to be a dere. I'm not sure what kind of dere, she can be labelled as. Wow, how much can a person change within the span of one episode? Of course, the dead rabbit scene is meant to convince us that she really did feel apathetic towards everything her entire life. Shizuku is definitely another run of the mill anime character with too much narration. Then we are introduced to Haru, the strong, smart, socially inept and innocent character. And we are meant to feel pity for him. I, for one, was beyond frustrated at every recurrence of Haru. Those dreamy baby-like eyes are meant to erase all his wrong doings and we are meant to take jokingly his male sense of domination over Shizuki? With both characters, I feel that the directors are purposely trying to manipulate my emotions, which in itself isn't necessarily bad. But can I really feel anything for Shizuki with all the forced explanations, especially when those forced explanations come from the freaking annoying Haru, the one with no internal consistency acting as a plot device to supposedly develop Shizuki. |

| Episode 1 feels a little fast but so far it's very fun. I don't normally get to far in my shoujo series though. I literally choked on my gum laughing at the scene where she remembered Haru was first year with the highest score. Will keep watching. |

| Awesome :) 5/5 Keeping it on my Watch list obv I've read the manga and I like how it follows it pretty closely! Animation and art are top notch. I love the bright colours too and the OST is impressing me so far. The only nit picky thing I didn't really love was Haru's voice. I thought his voice should be a bit more high pitched, and not as gruff-sounding. I think someone like Jun Fukuyama-san's voice would match much more than whoever's voicing him right now. EDIT - Also gonna say that I love the OP. It might be something I'll skip but srsly, they did a great job on the OP animation and the song is perfect for it. |

| This was great, fantastic, superb. Suzuki Tatsuhisa (His voice as Valvatroze from Disgaea 4 was freaking intense), he is my favorite Japanese VA. just a question to those who read the manga, was it this fast paced there too? |

| LOVED it almost caught up with the manga so nice to see everyone animated and that they stuck with the same art, i agree it was slightly fast but it's all for the greater good of learning more about how odd Haru is :P ready for lots and lots of more studying :) |

| Oh man, this is hilarious, I love it already. And Brains Base did a fantastic job with the animation and character designs, it was a treat to the eyes. My only problem would be the overly hurried pacing in the romantic and serious scenes, I found it difficult to take the jumps in atmosphere seriously, but I enjoyed the rest enough that I can forgive that. Definitely looking forward to more. |

| Huh, I actually enjoyed this quite a bit which I wasn't expecting. It's a lot different from the norm and the interaction between the two characters is pretty amusing and endearing. I'll probably watch this show to completion, provided melodrama doesn't take the focus. |
