| GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD I loved it. |
| Light’s inteligence and L’s “I don’t need to try to much” attitude (death note), Souske’s lack of normality (Full metal panic), Shouta’s similar looks (kimi no todoke), Usui’s bad*ssness (Kaichou wa Maid-sama), Kodaka’s lack of experience with friends (Boku wa Tomodachi Sukunai), Ken’s ability to be straight forward with his feelings with the girls he likes (Seitokai no Ichizon), and Hayate’s scense of justice (Hayate no Gotoku!). Damn he’s is one of the best male leads I’ve seen in while. The story has a “Special A/Kaichou wa Maid-Sama” feel to it too, where both the top students at the school are the main love interests. |

| First episode was awesome! Doesn't look like it is going to be a really slow shoujo that just drags on. The two mains are both animated very well and their personalitys really fit the voices. Hoping it touches out as good as Maid-sama |

| Watching this because of Haruka-chan. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. Don't turn into Kimi ni Todoke, or the various soap operas/telenovelas, please? Although I doubt that it won't, so much for that hope at the start, eh? |

| I didn't know that Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is so popular. I mean... already 9 pages of people commenting 1st episode? O_o Stupid Haru Dx how can you just pull and kiss her and act like nothing much happened? Poor Shizuku, blushing like hell alone. |

| The animation really feels like Brain Base-style but is it just me or are they going too fast with this? Well, seems like everybody is reading the manga so I guess it's fine... 4/5 ep :D |

| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I am only listening this for the Director cause he was involved in Kimi ni Todoke, I personally hate the shit head Haru and like Shizuku so much that I got her into my harem and frankly speaking any guy who hits girl should die in hell seriously. Haru is fucking shit compared to Haru and I beat this shit anytime. Let’s see he handles a 450lbs in the face. Other than that my thoughts follow. About the per-presentation, it’s quite simple in the list outlining a good amount of them.
About the OP, here is my take on the OP per element in the list. Head well most are credit free.
My first impression of Shizuku in the following,  Is super MOE! Instant shy face love. Certainly Shizuku was quite something there after having a kiss. I liked her face there and reactions but I HATED the brutal shit Haru did to her as in grabbing her but it does not even end there! About random comments, oh dear the start in the spoiler Now if that was not enough, the spoiler Now here is something funny. Haru can MOE the shit out in the spoiler Now I do admit he was surprising in the spoiler TBH things in the spoiler So based on the following spoiler Then comes the shits of shits in the spoiler Despite all the following,  Along the spoiler So in that being said I like Shizuku in general and her girls but Haru pisses me off and I wonder how he will change to that affect cause so far I want to punch him and beat him for that nose hitting. | It was a good idea to check this out, might prove to be a hidden gem for me. The episode was rather funny and i love the atmosphere it gives off. Nicely done shoujo are a rarity for me, and this seems to be one of those. Shizuku is an awesome protagonist, and Haru while a bit too crazy, is a rather nice male lead as well. |

| A great 1st episode IMO. Haru kinda reminds me of Atsushi with his rather innocent, maybe a bit childish (?), personality. Though it was kinda unexpected and weird that Haru would be a delinquent yet being the smartest guy in school. The kiss was freaking EPIC!! Shizuku being embarrassed was quite cute. Somehow... I really like Shizuku's character. This ep was really nice but I felt that it progressed to quickly for me... |

| Liked the first episode, although I had hoped for more. Felt like a whole anime pressed together into 1 episode/OVA, content-wise. Will continue watching, though! |

| What a delightful surprise! I also enjoyed the episode muchly. Shizuka made me think of Yukino (from KareKano) ever so slightly, but without the whole facade deal. Should be fun to see how these kids make friends. xD |

| Hmm I think the pacing is fine. IMO, this 'hurried' pacing serves two purposes: 1. Captures the audience to ensure their viewership. 2. Gets over and done with all the typical scenes of such a shoujo anime, so that it can move on to the more atypical ones. |

| Totally amazing! Must watch shoujo anime! Love story about a studious girl and a cute delinquent, yet caring guy! First ep is packed with awesomeness and it is very funny. :) |

| Wow I loved the manga and judging by this episode it looks like the anime will be quite good as well :D Could tell the production was kinda cheap by some of the scenes but it was alright even so! The characters all look and sound right to me so that was good. I kinda liked the fast pacing since it got more done in this episode, cant wait for the next one! |

| Excellent! To be honest, I read a bit of the manga but didn't enjoy the fast pace. But then Brains Base A+ Team made it look better animated. No less expected from the guy who worked in the script of two of the studio's hits, Durarara!! and Baccano!. Haru seemed a bit forced, but then Shizuku is amazing. I don't think she'll be a passive girl in their relationship. Also, about the "I'm gonna rape you" and beating stuff, I don't think Haru meant any real harm. He just looks awkward. Anyway, really amazing. I'm almost completely in love. As some here guessed, they did all the traditional shoujo stuff in 20 minutes with eccentric characters and now the expectations are of something more unusual. Now I want more! |

| Wow what a really cute anime though. Haru is a bit of an ass but I'm sure straightening that out will be where his character development comes from. |
