| I wasn't sad at all when Otose supposedly "died" I don't see them killing her, I would be very shocked if they do. anyway, the episode was fire, the animation was godlike! |
| Although I prefer Pirako as an enemy instead of an ally, she's still pretty annoying. I hope someone kicks her ass at the end of the arc instead of redeeming her. |

| A serious Gintama episode that isn't melodramatic. In fact, it was exceptionally executed, especially emotionally. A truly inconceivable achievement, considering how melodramatic and dull serious Gintama always is. The remarkably seamless tone shift, a genuinely interesting villain, a mournful parting, a complex conflict, seems like the gears work well this time. Despite having doubts for the payoffs and conclusion, I have high hopes for this arc. |

| Omg, This Episode was EPIC. 2 episodes in and this arc already became my top fav serious arc. That cemetery scene was soo good. I got chills down my spine when Gintoki goes beast mode. I cried at the end, 10/5 I loved it. |
| Gintoki lost his cool which made him forgot his skills. He acted a bit too fast. He could easily have beaten him up a bit more. A really emotional episode. The flashbacks and Otose in a dying state.. The action was just INSANE. |

| I didn't expect the episode to become like that with that epic Gintoki's fight scene, he was seriously scary to see but it was epic, though I really hope that Otose didn't die :o |

| What can I say , wow….. Remembering what kind of moments we already witnessed before in the series I’d say that this tops even all of them . It’s only 2nd episode of the arc that is very promising and we already got presented with such emotional and beautiful scenery that puts some shonen anime to shame Seeing Otose go down like this and then Gin trying to avenge her with such a great anger really made remember that this can be non comedy anytime it wants. It’s a true masterpiece of an episode and probably best expierence from this show I’ve had yet . |

| god i forgot how good the end of this episode was, made even more effective with the tonal shift and the music? goddamn finishing the episode only to realise it also just happens to be raining where i am… like, literally, that’s not even a metaphor for me tearing up (though i am also doing that) |
