Karl Marx is responsible for communism, in a way, sure, but the word communism has too many meanings and is too varied to actually amount to much. He was responsible for criticizing capitalism, the use of machinery to replace human labour, and, in general, known for the idea of class consciousness. Always worth pointing out that he was more interested in bring society back before a state was there, destroy the idea of money and maybe pick up trading again as a way for society to evolve - very different from what happened in the other parts of the world, which is something plenty of people somehow are still arguing about. Either way, the banning of books is something I've heard of before - I'm sure it was a thing in some American schools, at some point when I was in high school (it actually seems to be more common in the UK now grr), but I've met plenty of Americans who barely heard of either Marx or Nietzsche and would just connote them to bad ideologies and end the discussion there.
As for museums... Art Museums are really cool! YOU KNOW THIS REMINDED ME, you've been to Las Vegas, and yet, you didn't go to Omega Mart, did you? It's an actual place, a piece of interactive art, one which I'd love to experience - it's certainly cooler than whatever interactive art we have here in Europe... which is mostly just glasses and lights, woooow... boring. I do hope you get to experience a proper museum - but unless it's got Greek art or Neo classical, there won't be lots of flexing to do. p:
Also, I'm a bit like you, I don't go on my own... almost anywhere, but, none of my friends want to go to museums... so what can I do? :s
They keep teasing me about it, but alas, the most museum thing we've gone through was... Comicon - speaking of which, it's later this week, I've been busy prepping for it, especially so I don't go behind with my studies, but I'll come back with some cool pics to share in exchange, I promise!

What you describe cannot happen here!! back to what I said about high school and lyceums - in Italy , you're not locked to any subject, you're forced to learn them all, so your only choice is going to a type of lyceum which spend more hours on certain subjects. They all are public, and thus, there's only 6 types of Lyceums - they are Classic (Latin + Greek), Scientific (More science and Math), Artistic (More art), Musical and chorus (Adds Musical/Dance/Chorus lessons), Huaman Science (It adds Economy classes), Linguistic (You learn one extra language, you also learn Latin). Once you enroll in a school, you're given a CLASS and a year, and instead of being like in America where as a student every hour you roam around the school going from class to class, the actual classroom belongs to the class (group of students), and it's the teachers who roam around. Basically, you cannot skip subjects, as you can't just go to another classroom for one hour and go back - you get the same treatment as everyone else in your class. It actually grows pretty complex, as this is a country where students have their own say when it comes to their high school and how it should be managed, so there's a whole voting system, representation, a whole lot of playground politics in place for the whole system, I do miss it a bit.

You can take your time with the next reply as I've been busy, but I'll add some comforting words!! I myself am of double nationality, but while being born in Naples, I... for one... am unable to actually speak Neapolitan, I can't... really write Romanian, and what's more, I'm not even too familiar with Romanian history as well. I'm actually quite nothing in it - would love to know more, but all I can gather is weird muddled retelling of communist times, some which are biased towards the big guy, others which make it sound the worst thing ever... and then there's my family who've found a way to break the system. Really weird stuff. x.x

For being the place where Christianity was born, and where the pope lives, I do feel like the majority of Italy is very atheist. All of my friends don't feel much for any big religious ideas - meanwhile I have feeling that over there, people like Nietzsche and Karl Marx are often things people are scared to study, partly because they're atheists philosophers.
The random big peanut is the museum of modern arts!!! It really does steal the show once you get close to it, and I still really recall going there, alone, and being greeted by this exhibition about this artist guy(?) who, before boarding a flight, he removes his eyebrows and made himself a moustache out of that hair. People stopped him at the gate as he... looked quite different, but it seemed they couldn't just put their finger where.

I have done plenty of small games for fun. Some Ludum Dare, some for my friends, one of my ex's birthday - but they're personal project for the ones close to me. Nothing public.
I'm not an introvert, I just... am disappointed by people, usually. Even in the highest competitions or the most restricted groups, there's always the one who got there just from... luck, and faking... and then there's bad management. I don't like being the one who's not in lead and at the same time being the one who needs to be active to get things done... or being forgotten in a broom closet, the "oh yeah, you should work on this python code", show up the next day and hear "actually, this other person did the job".
You tip people here as well!! But it's not as much as in America because... well, fair wages, but an extra 1 to 5 euro, people do expect.

Well I'm just amazed that's a thing! We didn't have any sort of classes like that in high school. We had philosophy though, and that's, imho, way cooler. 8)
Okay, to be fair, school systems are different, and they start with a very interesting choice of words. You call them high school, we call them lyceums, and the lyceum was... the school of Aristotle, who was known at the time for going against the Academy, the school of Plato. While the Academy would vouch for the study of only the highest forms of the human experience, Aristotle thought that everything was worth studying, from the insects, to the geometrical shapes. Lyceums here in Italy have a very varied array of subjects you study, with very little choice (like, do you wish to study more classic languages, or would you rather do more math, or maybe you want to do CS instead of Latin). This is a bit of a reason why, if you encounter any fellow Italians, they might sound a bit smarter than the rest: we're kinda forced by our system to know a lot about culture, but I don't personally mind it.
Also I'm not sure what the last thing with rice is supposed to be... it looks quite scary.

You're as young as my youngest irl friend!!! Right...? She's 17, and she's... quite the rebel. People here usually aren't as rulebound, but even if, would you really just... hang out in casinos all day? p:
What cities... well, I just like going on walks in cities, looking around, taking the charm of the city... and then I like going to parks, restaurants and museums.
Personally, I really like Amsterdam, Paris and Graz. These are my top favourite cities I've been to; Of course, I also really like Naples, but since I'm going there so often, it doesn't really count. p:

No big programming projects on my part... I'm still a uni student. Maybe next year... But honestly I'm not looking forward to it. I dunno... something about working with other people I don't know... not a fan.
Oh, here the issue is that if you don't have any sort of connection or phd... Unless you want to be a delivery person for one of those weird apps, but like... ehhhh... I'd rather have a life then scrub for chewingum money.

Culinary class? That's a thing over there? How were they expanded?

that's pretty tame compared to some of my posts. Like I'm a bit crazy sometimes. I sometimes even take very un-american and kinda progressive stances and nobody ever decided to harass me lol. p:

The SOL isn't boring at all imo. Guess it depends on the person and how much tolerance they have for SOL. It was actually pretty funny and made me like the characters more. It's hard to say what % is what tbh. 50% doesn't sound accurate though. The SOL eases you in and it slowly but surely builds up to the more psychological horror stuff. It's not just "happy goofy times with pals 🤪" -> immediately into "oh god wtf going on 🥶".
So far in the VN I haven't seen any "creepy loli humor". That's usually reserved for the Higu anime OVAs. I still recommend giving the VN a shot. EP3 by itself is kinda fucking me up emotionally with the Satoko abuse 😥 The characters are wayyy better in the VN than the anime by alot. Especially in the more drama segments. Well not surprising considering the source is always better lol

Basically it's split up evenly between happy, drama, psychological thriller and "everything going to hell".

Hmmm, sadly I am reading alot of VNs but the ones I am focusing on at the moment is Fate/stay night (Heavens Feel route) and Witch on the Holy Night. Trying to finish both before Tsukihime Remake in June

Here's my list of stuff

Blegh Doki Doki Literature Club. Zero interest in that one + been spoiled on it for years.

Favorite track? Hard to say since I love alot of the songs...Patchwork Chimera, Yomitsu Hirasaka Corruption or goldenslaughterer I guess?

Well in QA I was kinda sus of Shannon and Kanon
. Intuition bells were going but I didn't think they were on the top of my suspect list yet. Then Chiru comes along and I was starting to focus a bit more on culprit stuff. You give me too much credit LOL.

Well for little witch academia, first watch both the movies then tv show.

Ohh, that's a nice thing , hope you get better in it. ^_^
Zetsu_95 Apr 12, 6:52 PM
Come for the horror, stay for the likable characters, and the tragic and wholesome story basically 😂
The anime had way more emphasis on the horror though. The VN definitely not as much.

Hmmm...no I haven't. Sad to say but I am slacking hard in the Higu VN. On EP3 >_< My VN backlog is a nightmare sadly lmaooo.

Yeah it was rough. Youtube playthroughs are painful at times. Especially since I read faster. Yeah there was no choices in QA. That's only for EP8. The manga is a great adaptation (unlike the poo poo anime lol). Think i am only on EP4 in the manga though.
Yeahhh the VN is fucking fat lmfao. It'll definitely take a while. Was well worth it though. In my top 3 VNs. The OST is godlike too.
Hmmm good question. I didn't really start thinking about the culprit until Chiru tbh...but yeah figured it out around EP5 or EP6.

P.S Sorry for the late reply >_< Got sidetracked

Las Vegas kinda seems boring to me... :s
Big roads, plain streets... looks neony and fancy! But not much substance :c
I think the best cities are the one that look made for people to walk on... Also too many casino!! p:

My writing is but you don't write to your friends like you do on forums!!! Plus look how I'm typing here, I don't think I come off as artsy... The only time I do is when I'm at a museum and start talking more than the museum guide p:
You don't know many people who are into computer science because most of them go for computer engineering, don't you? :c
Maybe universities are different in America, but here in Italy, half of my class high school if not more tried going for computer engineering - the rest went for medicine. Both are really popular - Computer Science is where the rejects of Computer Engineering go. I just went there cuz... uhm... I'm clumsy and don't like physics or electronics... or engineering... x.x
But I do like programming!

You... don't have a path in mind yet? Just going to finish the course and see where you land? o:
At least in America you can easily find part time jobs... here's not so easy. Not a lot of job opportunities here. :s

Not all life is like that!! I'm not actually from Naples, I live near Naples, near enough that people don't talk Italian and far enough that there's a decent night life if you're able to go a few km away. Like... there's a pretty good bar (keep in mind, in italy, a bar is like a caffetteria that deals with breakfast related bakery and coffee) that's open 24/7 and had some pretty amazing polacche...

Also I've been sick for the past couple of days, late reply x.x
Hope the trolls are gone!! So weird you'd be getting harassed though, it never happened to me in... 6+ years of being on this site lol p:
