| Last season, Oshi no Ko showed us the horrible reality of the Japanese entertainment industry. This season, Zom 100 shows us the horrible reality of the Japanese workplace. The exploitative nature of companies, sexual harassment in the workplace that women have to deal with and the creative stifling of society. I mean, you know how fucked up your life has to be to prefer a zombie apocalypse over going to work? Totally blown away by BUG FILM’s work on this. As soon as I saw the letterbox effect, as a filmmaker myself I knew shit was about to go down. The art, the filmography, the use of various colours, just incredible. Never even heard of this studio before but I won’t be forgetting them. Beyond excited for what comes next in this one |

| "Live your life like it's your last day" The irony of feeling more alive during a zombie apocalpyse. Ha, it's been a while since I've seen a character with a traditional to do list, especially in modern anime. Maybe it's just that no one comes to mind right now. Love it that this show put such a unique twists on classic trope like a zombie apocalpyse. If it was just simultaneously featuring these two tropes I wouldn't have been as impressed. The corporate slave introduction is what makes this premise lowkey brilliant. Usually it's characters just losing everything when the world we know comes to an end(and the MC here is an isekai candidate in 9/10 cases lmao) Ok, Akira lost his first love, but from one to day to another he miraculously escaped the seemingly endless misery. The colors returned along with energy. From depressed to hopeful. Life is worth living again. Him taking out his former boss was truly liberating and it reminded him of the good days. Even saying goodbye to his crush was at least an emotional experience. The first episode did a great job at getting me hooked. It would work as a oneshot story too. I hope the remaining episodes can keep up. |

| I love the concept of zombie apocalypse reused in such an original way. Not your average survival story : this is not a threat to survive, but an occasion to live. The animation is bursting with energy, and it looks flawless, perfectly fitting the humour of the story, as well as direction and music. I am totally hooked, can't wait to discover which will be the 100 thing to do before getting zombiefied. |

| Best 1st episode of the season, so far. Story, protagonist, animation, top to bottom it was excellent. No complaints about anything I saw. Can’t wait to see where this goes. |

| First episode was a 10/10. It hit home and I absolutely LOVE stories about zombie apocalypses, maybe I’m biased. The anamation was really eye pleasing and nice to watch. The use of colors were really well done too, especially from the transition from a black and white world into bright and colorful. Really hope the rest of the episodes are just as good! |
| The episode really flew by fast! Really interested to see how creative this gets and so far it's really visually pleasing. Like how calm Akira is about the zombies, but is finally going to start living his life! I kept thinking he'd sleep for a few days first, but maybe he's just so excited. Can't wait for the next one! |

| Maybe am reading too much into it but the slaving for company part felt deliberately long so hist liberation feels liberating to us as well. So far nothing too creative and new, but a very strong opening for anime that doesn't seem to be taking itself too seriously. Am getting strong "highschool of the dead" vibe here and it's not a bad one at that. |
| What a phenomenal first episode. It was really able to hit home just how awful his workplace was. Inhuman work conditions, abusive management, and the girl he loves is being nailed by a fat, worthless, fat cat CEO. It really can't get any worse than that. The hell that is a routine everyday life going to an awful job is worse than an apocalypse. This makes the change to an actual zombie apocalypse all the more impactful when it does happen. The direction and animation on this were exceptional, and the choice to use all kinds of colors in place of blood red makes this absolutely pop. Going from full color to a dreary black and white with this dark filter over the screen as time went on was a great way to portray Akira's mindset. The moment where Akira realized he was finally free, the animation was breathtaking. And the fact that he still properly submitted his resignation to his boss (despite being a zombie), shows the kind of sincere guy he is. I noticed he didn't kill or fight Saori, he just ran away. Makes me wonder if she'll turn up again at some point? Overall, I really really enjoyed this. I don't think I have any complaints whatsoever. The animation, direction, the story and they way it was able to hit home everything it wanted to was perfect. Easily the best first episode I've seen in a long time. |
| It was an ok first episode, art style and animation looks great, wish the soundtrack was more bombastic, felt the sountrack was lacking this episode but lets see how this story goes. |
| Imagine work being a living hell where you’re happy a zombie apocalypse is happening so you don’t have to go to work again. This was awesome I cant wait for more. |

| Man, those 1st 12 mins really inspire you not to work in an office. Why are the zombies look like they are covered in paint? Censorship (to make it not so bloody)? Too bad my man was too late to rescue his first love. |
