A teaser for grunge was released today. Looks like we’re getting two more FLCLs. Thoughts? 3D isn’t promising for a series like this. But it all depends on how they use it I guess.

they’re good, they just don’t live up to the original. Progressive is seen as terrible, undeserved, but understandable, alternative is mostly seen as alright too. Just don’t go into them expecting something on par with FLCL

The sequels are very disappointing, it’s not worth your time and it doesn’t live up to the original. However, the soundtrack is still fire though.

The ten second teaser is well animated but since nothing else is known about this sequel I don't know how to feel about it. I hope it's at least better than the two previous series because those were shit.

I would if you liked the original.
Progressive was a 6 for me, then alt was an 8, compared to the original being a 10/10.
up to you, and some love the sequels though most don’t.

At the very least I hope we get more songs from The Pillows. The other seasons were pretty decent but definitely didn't have the same charm as the original one.

It can be good but i don't see any interest in making sequels to FLCL

I didn't liked Alternative and Progressive, and will probably not like it if it's the same scenario all over again

I turned a blind eye like a cuck when 2 and 3 came out. I said and convinced myself that it didn't really matter, while they were burning the corpse and what remained at least still I had my OG, many of us let it sweep away and pretend it didn't happen.

Now it's far too long gone, the corpse is brought back again, the necromancer that is the rights holder.

Next to be defiled is Top wa Nerae! You can thank Gainax for this disgrace, they conned Anno when he was trying to buy FLCL, TWN and Eva from the vile remains of that studio back in the day. He managed to save his 100% creation Eva. But the rest went to I.G. To my knowledge Gainax hasn't sold off Gurren Lagann, maybe Imaishi kept the rights? I'm not informed on that manner, let's pray the worst doesn't come in the years to come.

Rest in piss FLCL and Gainax.

As my final statement. I guess this is the price to be paid to get the Hoshi wa Samidare adaptation, oh well.

You seriously need to chill. The original isn't going away or becoming worse because they decided to make a new thing out of it. Just don't watch it if you're that strongly opposed to it.

They aren't as bad as people keep saying. Both are only 6 episodes so give them a chance for yourself.

I'd say they're alright to slightly bad at worst.
You can drop it at anytime anyway.

I just wanna know, who asked for this? Progressive and Alternative not only failed to live up to the original, they basically lowered the standard. The original stands as an all-original masterpiece, it didn’t and doesn’t need these cash-grab sequels. This is both a waste of time and money and I’ll be shocked if it doesn’t entirely disappoint my already low expectations by the end of episode 1
