| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ahh those eyes.. We got to see more of Guts' fighting abilities. I really like Luca's role in this Conviction Arc for some reason, maybe it's because she's one of the most mature characters in the series. Oh boy, that cliffhanger, Nina witnessing those brutal punishments is not so eye pleasing. |

| Decent episode. Fight was pretty cool, Though sometimes the CG motions look a bit weird, Thought I'd be used to them by now :(. Still Guts beheading Goat guy was epic. Casca playing around with Puck was funny xD Serpico vs Guts on the cliff was nice. That dodge by Serpico though, He's got some insane agility. There it is, The root cause of it all, The Behelit. It's always quite interesting how it shows up at the right place when the time is right. Memor said: Somehow I didn't expect the little guy to give a rat's ass about friendship or whatever. Same here, Did not expect that. Glad to see Luca and Isidoro helping out Guts to get entry into the stronghold. The torture room again, It didn't look as intimidating and gory compared to what they showed before. Nina is in deep trouble though. |

| They did a great adaptation. It seemed like they changed very small things that people probably wouldn't notice and I even had to question myself on them if they did change them, but it seems like it was an almost 1 for 1 adaptation. Couldn't have asked for a better adaptation of this episode besides no cg, but it doesn't bug me that much. Its about to start going down!!! Also, I can't help but laugh everytime Casca makes an incoherent moan. Its like comedy gold ;D. I never imagined it in the manga, but I just expected her to honestly be mute and maybe vocalize from time to time with incoherent mumbles, but she is just going to town with these moans. I can only imagine the VA hired for this getting tired of moaning into the mic almost every episode. Then again, its some easy pay that's for sure. |

| Pretty good episode again, particularly Guts grabbing Serpico's sword and the latter's shocked reaction to that. Also, can't say I'm at al surprised that a Behelit can be found at that complete hell-hole of a tower. Should be interesting to see how Guts gets Casca out of this mess before Mozgus gets to her. |

| I feel like the animation is slowly getting better, which is decent, though I didn't mind it too much to begin with. I also love how the sword grab was drawn; it kinda felt like an homage to the source material. My only problem with this episode is just that Nina is so annoying, but that is the fault of the character, and not the creators. Anyway, I truly am enjoying this adaptation so far (especially after how good the past couple of episodes have been) and find it sad that many people won't watch it simply for it's art style. |

| Another awesome episode. Next one gonna be great, we might see Luca and Skull Knight dialogue since it looked like it in the preview for the next episode. It's a great moment to be a Berserk fan with this show and the new game coming soon. |
| It was a good episode, I loved the battle against Great Goat and Serpico. The editing was a bit of-putting at times, though. When it was good, it was really good and fluid. But occasionally, the shots didnt line up smoothly, therefore some sequences felt choppy (e.g. when Farnese gives the order to attack and the shot right after that). But Im being nitpicky. Also,the animation had one slip-up. When Serpico grabs farnese to pull her back, his fingers went through the forearm. On a personal note, I hate Cascas moaning. She sounds like an infant. |

| The fights were awesome as usual, plus points for even more grorious 2D animation in this episode. Guts' reaction to Serpico's introduction xD Those eyes of the Egg of the King is really unpleasant to look at. Nina gets hit with a truckload of karma, poor girl. Casca will put anything in her mouth these days. Solid episode overall. The moaning is still annoying, though. |

| After the abomination which is the first episode (most likely they are still experimenting around, and failed miserably), it really felt like the creators are starting to find the right magic, I am really liking the recent episodes. I hope the ratings will rise back, maybe at least a 7.50+? |

| Good to see that the animators are taking more cues from the manga when it comes to framing the fight scenes, would've been pissed if they botched Guts vs Serpico round one. It was still really stiff animation, but it was the best fight they've animated to date so kudos to that. IMO Serpico and Luca are easily the best Berserk character introduced post eclipse. Just a shame we won't get to see Serpico's backstory animated yet. |

Yes, this! I expected her to be completely dumb, she sounds absolutely horrid. The editing, though bad, wasn't as jarring to me as, say, episode 6. Oh, to think that the whole adaptation could have looked like this! :'( |

| Yes I agree, It was awesome, The Fight with Serpico was just good. I hope they will continue with the anime close to manga setting. That would be great. Btw. So many dropped the Anime after Episode 1. Well its a shame that Berserk doesnt get a good anime Studio. |

| Seeing Guts decapitate that goathead man was really satisfying. I kind of wanted to know what he looked like underneath it though. LOL at Casca sucking Puck's fat head (sounds wrong but fuck it). Honestly, why is curly locks really surprised that Yowaheemuh/Joachim ratted on them? She tried to kill him. She's the most fucking annoying character in this series. I really hope she dies a painful, slow death. |
