Regarding the "emotionally manipulative", it's a very subjective matter and I won't comment on that. But what's wrong with having superior art style as longs as it's supported by substance, which imo exist in the show. Maybe you just have different views on what a substance is. |

| I keep forgetting how good this anime is! It's pretty fantastic in most regards, the animation and overall direction of the series is breathtaking. Plus, a lot gets done in this episode. There's also the fact that we get 19 more episodes of this! I just know I'm going to get emotional over this show at some point.... |
| I'm glad they were able to get Kousei to decide to become Kaori's accompanist in the end. I do feel they were probably too forceful initially, given his trauma. Hence, when they talked it out, it made it all the better for me. |

| Kousei will play as her accompanist, soo excited. Such a cliffhanger though That "twinkle twinkle little star", so cute ingrish. Dem feels, dramatic episode yet so good. I love Tsubaki so much she's treating Kousei as her brother haha. Lol next episode is "Two people on a bike is forbidden by law" Can't wait till next week >3< |
| Brilliant voice acting from Hanae and Taneda Risa. The entire atmosphere was so arghhhh and angsty, 80% voice acting, 10% bgm and 10% script. |

Damn, that was manipulative x) Really loved the metaphor when he was saying that he was engulfed in darkness and later stepped into the light. The contrast nailed it. Those girls are crazy... Did they broke into his house? o.O Kaori engrish is far better that some others that I've heard. It's even better than my engrish! Also, what the fuck about the hospital scene? Why is everbody talking about that? When was it? I never noticed it!! Damnit! |

| this is the most needlessly melodramatic show i've seen in a long time. they're middle school students. also some of the visual symbolism is grossly obvious (stepping out of the shadow when he decides to be her accompanist, lol) |

| This anime keeps surprising me every week, man, the story has started getting more deeper and sadder. Emotional moments, touching scenes.. tough decisions. All these things are noticeably existing in the story line. There is still one thing that keeps bothering me, which is the fact that the anime is going to be 22 episodes, which is too long for an anime that has a story line like this... I mean most anime like this usually tend to have episodes that don't go up to 14 episodes. It all depends on how they will show it at the end, probably won't put filler scenes, since the manga seems to be going far away from the anime. :3 |

I mean, him not wanting to play the piano is super personal, yet she's made him go out there knowing he has a huge issue with it. Not being able to hear the piano is not an excuse, he honestly can't. Gosh, he has some psychological problems and what she's doing is so insensitive. They just sugarcoat what she's doing with sparkles, things like "you can do it!", and flirts. I'll enjoy it nevertheless. |

| I really though after the last epiosde you would see some regrets on his sides that he lied to the blond chick about his friend... you know, going into some depht of the character, but since its a silly comedy show with clichee character, how could i make myself believe it would make a good story? I mean.. every emotional part come out like cheesy drama. And is the blond chick really that retarded? Her advices for him just keeping on playing are utterly naive and stupid, If she knew so much about him, she probably heard his mother died and maybe even the abuse he went through, but no.. keep on playing, because thats super sugoi. He, idiot, ever thought about the idea that he doesnt want to play anymore because he hates it? |

I know it's stupid but that's how it is. |
| Good episode. So far I like the visual style and feels they are putting into this. It's heartwarming to watch. Though I wouldn't be surprised if main heroine is gravely ill and destined to die soon. That would change this anime into something else completely. |
