i read yore review on UBW and i have few things to say
1.The Romance in it was decent it didn't feel forced(I don't know why you felt it) as they both have quite bit of a chemistry
2.Archer didn't kill him because he first wanted to confront and break his spirit
3.Killing off characters wasn't really that predictable especially ilyas, you must be kidding if you expected her death? the characters given the backstory are decent
4.FSN it itself is not complete,that's why the other characters get their screen time in their respective routes
5,The pacing could be better but i took my time watching it so i don't really have much complaints but i agree at some of those areas
I disagree with most your review and i just wanted to give you a piece of my mind
i would give it an 8/10 but i wouldn't force you to give it a higher score that's it, bye
Considering the amount and quality of reviews and stuff you post you should put the time into adding a profile picture and favorite shows, along with a description to get more positive feedback from ppl who don't fully read them or to get more interested people following you, if you're posting reviews elsewhere now because you don't find MAL the suitable place, you should link your blog or site here.
Good Bakemonogatari review I agree with and I believe its a good anime but Shaft studio ruins it with a style of art . Avoid Shaft like the plaque, I tried watching them and it was hard which I dropped
That's true. Those people will still downvote your review. But there is also the chance that certain other people won't downvote your review immediately and actually read it due to its neutral start. That's at least what I'm hoping for.^^
But yeah, MAL is quite primitive when it comes to votes. It's really sad.
Thank you! Yeah, I think Pokemon Origins was one of my better reviews. I tend to elaborate too much on things or not tackle upon every aspect I want to talk about, but in this one I somehow managed to avoid both of those mistakes.
The problem with MAL is that only few people read the entire review before they decide to give it a "helpful" or "not helpful". They look at the score and maybe read the first few sentences before they decide.
So I would say it's always better to start out rather neutral or positive so people don't get butthurt too early and at least give your review a chance. The first impression is basically key. Edging on is ok but if you do it too early people will think you're biased or a troll or hipster or whatever.
