| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we have an universe problem this episode? Wow. My first though at this episode was the same as some of the others: Dandy dated a box?? 2D Universe > 1D Universe. Oh poor Honey. Paul's a rectangle :/ The episode felt like one out of a video game. |

| 2-D Dimension and 4-D Dimension seems complicated at first. The 2-D felt like an arcade game somewhat funny, and Dandy had a history with Catherine... Wow his mood is pretty serious. Felt like I watched like the previous episode: Obsessive male character loving a female character even though they are just dimensions. LOL Dr. Gel being sucked up in the dimension. |

| I really have no way to describe this episode, its just utter genius is what it is. Season 2 is just rolling out the great episodes one after another, only 2 episodes left though makes me sad, god please let this become a franchise, this series can go on for so long with this kind of world and structure. |

| Such an awesome episode with an two-dimensional universe invading a three-dimensional one! Dandy's ex being a forth-dimensional alien! Really enjoyed QT and Meow's talking at the side xD Cutting through the 2D universe and creating a shockwave! The fighting in the 2D world and especially at the defensive line! Paul being a rectangle! The secrets of wrapping was kind of sad :( How Catherine said that this Dandy isn't the one she loved. The one-dimensional universe than the zero! Really enjoyed the bizarreness with a big smile :) |

| Another fantastic episode. I also agree with this becoming a franchise. The possibilities are endless! Also, we're finally back to X Jigen he Youkoso. Perfect timing, considering the song's lyrics. I wonder if the finale will be a two-parter. |

| That's what I call an edgy woman. She really cut corners by asking Dandy for help. I can understand Dandy falling for such a "box"om woman. Well, that was pretty deep. The secret to warping is that there is no such thing. Beings from two different dimensions can't live happily because of dimensional differences. Feels like the show's indirect way of just saying that you can't force love unto a relationship that won't inherently work. |
| There are a few things that I surely didn't grab this episode but I indeed felt the brilliance of the episode. This strike of serious episodes is on a roll at the moment, and I'm really glad of this, not that I dislike full-comedic episodes but these episodes truly show the greatness that SD can achieve. Well, I don't think the episode wanted to be hyper accurate, since you still see them forming character outlines in 1D, and you technically wouldn't be able to see the point in 0D. So you really just accept the minor discrepancies, as it's meant to be entertaining. The difference between Dr. Gel and Paul though was that Paul was inherently 2D. I'm pretty sure Paul and Catherine were just represented as a rectangle and tesseract, for comedic purposes: a rectangle for a parody of sorts of 8-bit games, and a tessaract for simply being the most well known 4D representation. |

| I loved this episode! The way it was executed was fantastic. Plus it actually touched on inter dimensional physics, in a way that actually makes sense! Also, I would totally play a game based off of this episode! |

This video nicely explains why we only saw cat as a cube. I saw this a long time ago, and the knowledge from it made the episode easy to understand. Sort of a genius bonus, if you will. |

Unbeknownst to him, his consciousness travels between universes and assumes the identity of a similar Dandy (but nonetheless, different, i.e. this season's opening episode with the multiple versions of Dandy) in a parallel universe. So, despite the similarities between the parallel universes, the Dandy after warping is literally not the same Dandy that Catherine fell in love with. |

This video explores the point that Dandy makes with the stuffed animal: the stuffed animal defines its existence by the world and time in which it lives in. There is an inherent problem with how people define their existence, and that point is explored around 5:00 mark of this video. I'd recommend watching from the 1:00 mark to get the context of the full story. |
