Who is your favorite?
| Who is your favorite and why? Well, Inaho is a almost expressionless doll, and up until now there's no room for development or even a single foreshadow of any backstory. In the other way, Slaine is a bit better,with his slave relationship with the martians and the princess herself, overall i think he's a more interesting char to watch. Your thoughts? |

| I actually like that about Inaho though, its true that he could use some back story on how he became so emotionless but i like the fact that he is not like 80% of anime leads were they can't calm down and make rational decisions. That said Slaine is also an interesting character. |

| Slaine, by miles. It's not even a competition. Inaho's not shown a shred of actual character yet- he's literally a walking plot device at the moment. Slaine's the only one that's shown anything remotely like human emotion. There's nothing to empathise with. Inaho's literally watching *the end of the world* happening around him, and he's just carrying on as though it's business as usual, without showing the slightest bit of emotional impact. Slaine, on the other hand, has a personality and genuine motivations. |

| I would say Slaine because he seems bad ass ,helping to get things straight And he stands up for what he sees with his own eyes. He seems to be really good with guns . Which I like ,plus he helps out a lot so far. |

| Inaho has a mysterious background and maybe a darker personality. Slaine is just a fleshed out generic MC. I personally enjoy Inaho more. |

| For now, they're both mediocre characters. While I like that Inaho is at least clever, I just can't care about him because of his non-existent personality. Slaine is more likeable in this department, but he's turning out to be quite naive and he seems to be interested in the princess only. They could improve, but for now I would say they both suck. |

Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |
| Ah, you did it. This thread was necessary. Slaine. Prince-like characters are not my thing usually, but he seems like a fresh and likeable mc. The princely looks are kinda neutralised by poor self-awareness and a face too expressive for his own good, and the amazing levels of drama and fail that he generates are funny to look at. Also I like characters, whose actions are affected by their personality traits - basically, idiots, that can't get a hold of their own feelings or convictions. I think that we are mostly like that, but fictional characters are often too direct with their motivation. He would've been ideal if he'd had some interest on the martian side, but, well, that was too good to happen, I suppose. Inaho is a cipher, so there's not too much to discuss there. If he turns out to be more of the manipulative cold bastard, his charater will grow on me, I suppose. So far him liking eggs and being overly logical sometimes is not enough for me to acknowledge him as a complete personality. |

A few weeks ago I would have said Slaine but his story has been progressing so slowly and I can't say the most recent episode did him many favors since he basically just escapes, participates in the skirmish and really doesn't have a lot to say. Really just not a whole lot going on with anybody since so much time is spent on these skirmishes with the knights, cliche one liners and talk about pseudo-strategy during them. Inaho is just dull as hell and a pretty blatant Gen insert character that's so far basically been the vehicle for his whole amoralism and cold logic is the only thing that gets results life philosophy so he can't really progress as a character beyond that. Ended up going with they both suck. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| I love both but I prefer Slaine, he looks cuter lol also the fact that Kensho Ono is the one voicing Slaine may help a bit with the decision of which one I prefer lol but seriously though, if it wasn't because of that end in ep 7 I wouldn't be able to choose |
