Lmao, get rekt son. We used to have shitty internet but apparently we are in a Fibr rich zone and our household got fed up with the internet always dying, so we upgraded and now I'm bathing in 50 Mbps. Ping sometimes still gets into 100-ish though, for some reason.

SEA is even more of a cancer these days tho if you have to know. Lots of idiots farming role queue and picking unconventional picks like pos 4 Gyro, Ursa, Zeus, Necro, and QoP. Hell they even pick carry Pos 3 like Void, Sven, and fucking Riki for some reason. Also, is it just me or the bastards who own their own PC play worse. Since the pandemic, usually only the ones from decent households can actually play these days. These rich kids come out with their shiny cosmetics and annual dota plus membership and play like they don't know shit on how this game works. Ironically, you know someone is terrible if they have an arcana. Based on my own experience anyway.

Ah, Islands are an advantage right now, that's true. At least only wearing masks is nothing too bad. My country seems to be going into and out of lockdowns constantly... I wish they'd just do a hard lockdown for a while and let the infection numbers go down to a more acceptable place before letting everyone go about starting it all up again.

I feel like I don't know them well enough yet, and some live a bit farther away because it's online anyway. There are also some restrictions, although I think I could meet some people if we kept outside and at a distance. How are the rules at your home?

I guess that's somewhat normal. The final stretch can be the most difficult one to get motivated for. I hope you'll find the strengh and motivation to push through!

New update today with a new hero and stuff. I am still uncalibrated lmao. I've been on 2 since it started way back in 2012 but I barely have 300 matches under my belt, that's literally nothing when you consider 2012 was 9 years ago. Only booted the game when major game changing updates came (like when talents were added). But otherwise, I never played.
However the friends I play with are Archons and a Legend 5 (one of the archons should be legend, and the legend should be ancient but whatever), my brother joins our party sometimes and he's Ancient 3 or something atm idk. AT BEST, I'd probably be Archon 1 when I calibrate.

Technically been playing since 2009 or so. I don't queue without a party tho so barely played after graduating hs and being separated from friends. We got in touch recently tho and have been playing regularly for the past few months.
I didn't watch the whole thing, just some highlights here and there.
Not playing Genshin because I am not interested in more mobile gacha games. This probably just triggered 95% of the game's player base but eh. Saw quite a bit of gameplay through trailers, videos friends share or even friends directly streaming it on discord. Not for me, so pass.

Yeah, talking over a screen is just different. Better than nothing though. I made one good friend so far, as in, we talk about personal stuff too and not just unviersity things. I hope to get into closer contact with some more though, because it's quite lonely.

Do you have no motivation due to the pandemic, or in general too? I sometimes try and bargain with myself to get up and finish stuff, like treating myself to a nice book when I'm done.

Yeah, I still learn lots of cool stuff and it's fun at times. But it's also stressgul and I feel like it would be less so, if I had more interaction with others and therefore didn't feel so alone with my problems. I recently started hosting online meetings, where we students can just talk a bit, but it's hard finding a time when all the people who want can come, and somtimes they just don't.

Oh yeah, finding the motivation to write during quarantine can be hard :/ You're right, it's probably best to focus on graduating first, before planning what to do afterwards.

I started in summer last year, so just at the beginning of the pandemic ^^ It's all online so far, so I've never actually been to the university itself, which is quite weird. I'm just finishing my second semester.

It's not that it seems normal but its been so long people just learn to live with it. Quarantine has destroyed so many people financially, you can't tell them to just stay at home anymore even if there are thousands of daily cases.

I do have some savings, yeah. The plan is there is no plan lol. I'm just hoping things improve fast.

We had very strict travel rules and ended up going about a month or so with 0 daily cases. Then they opened the flood gates and we started getting thousands of cases each day. Booooooo.
The new strain already fucked up everything. Lots of countries are going back to stricter quarantine. Not a fun time all around.
