Would honestly love your insight on Tengoku Daimakyou's adaptation if you're into anime

wow that's a lot of very interesting reviews

I’m sure the adaptation of Tengoku Daimakyou will be much better than the manga, tbh.

Hello there ^-^
I really liked your totsukuni no shoujo review. As you mentioned, you wrote the review based on only the few chapters released at that time. So I'm curious to know- did you finish the manga and what're your thoughts about it? Because a lot of your predictions in the review were actually mostly spot-on and the manga just kept on improving as time went on, imo at least.
(Given that you wrote the review 6 years ago it's also possible you've forgotten about the series by now. In which case it's re-reading time !! Woooo! XD)

I'm thankful that you've given me insight in the first place! I guess I'm just being too much of a realist because I want her to show more of her vulnerability as much as the main male protagonist was showing his. I honestly doubt that anyone in real life would not breakdown from time to time, especially when they're the pillar of positivity almost all of the time for someone else. I mean if I was sold off and everything, I would definitely see how I could be selfless about saving my family from their doom as much as mine, but the fact that she doesn't really change or have some personal growth to move on...baffles me. Everyone goes through hardships in their lives, but everyone changes because of those experiences. I don't see why they didn't do so in the manga, when they have all the time to do so. That's the only disappointment really, especially when you want to really love the character. Hopefully, the anime goes well. I'm not expecting too much since they appear to be catering to the development of their relationship as two strangers coming together and both experiencing their first love. That's not bad, but I was hoping for more I guess.

As for anime, if I haven't gotten to the manga beforehand, it's just a way for me to see whether or not I would continue on with the story because I know there's always more detail from the source. That's why I'm thankful for your input because it seemed like I was going to invest a lot of time for no satisfaction.

Thank you for your review for Taishou Otome Otogibanashi. I don't think I'll pick up the manga considering there's no deeper development with Yuzu, which is disappointing to hear considering there's much to like about her character. I can't truly appreciate characters who aren't further developed because there is always a reason for being the way they are and I always believe there to be change no matter how minute. After all, all sorts of experiences change people and allow for deeper perspective. I do understand that this was a time period that showed considerable restraint, however, she's only shown as the perfect bride. I'm pretty sure there's more to her than being a saintly wife devoted to the well-being of her husband. You have also pointed out notable discrepancies and I feel that would greatly stain my opinion and overall enjoyment of the manga. I will therefore limit myself to the anime. Thank you for saving my time from reading something that will not be covering the much-needed development of the main female protagonist as an individual.

No problem with "deep meanings". I really like your point of view.

Maybe ironic wasn't the word and after all I was just hoping that the main character doesn't end up the same way. False hope, I guess.

I also see you have "Homunculus" in your long on-hold list. If you accept recommendations, I believe you would like that kind of story.

Wow, that's a long explanation. It's almost like you made a full review for me.

Yes, I did enjoy Freesia.

I find kinda ironic that shortly after Kano undestands what he wants and is willing to fight for it realizes that Keiko is dead and decides to put his mom in a caring house(? I dont actually know how it's called, lol). Basically the opposite of what he wanted.

To me the ending also gave me the feeling that Kano was talking to the reader.
I actually dont dislike open endings, depends on the type of story. Maybe in the near future I will reread it, because I feel like I missed lots of tiny bits of information the autor left in every page. And I think knowing this beforehand would make the reading more pleasant.

Lastly, thank you for taking the time to replying to me. Im looking forward to reading more of your reviews.

Greetings, I have been reading your reviews a lot and just finished Freesia, so I wanted to know your thoughts about the ending.
