| Slightly better than the starter, but still not impressive. And rather than funny/amusing/cute/moe/whatever, I find that "uguu" girl to be incredibly annoying. |

| Wow, I really start to think now this is just a copy of Clannad (or rather, Clannad is a copy of Kanon; Clannad was aired several years later). Not that that's a bad thing ^^ (Clannad was awesome!) But really, I mean: Yuuichi = Tomoya Nayuki = Nagisa Kitagawa = Sunohara Ayu = Fuuko Kaori = Kyou Akiko = Sanae ... but also stuff like Akiko's jam and Sanae's bread, the way Nayuki and Nagisa talk about the city, annoying but funny little Ayu/Fuuko who is in fact of the same age as Yuuichi/Tomoya... and so on ^^ |

| Seems like im going to enjoy this anime a lot. This episode was definitely better than episode 1 but thats probably because it was an intro. Also the character remind me of Clannad, well thats probably because it was made by almost the same staff. |

| I just remembered why I stopped on ep.1 a long time ago and why this has been sleeping on my computer for so long - pure boredom! On top of that as I suspected it was adapted from a visual novel - and bingo I was right! Same rubish as Clannad, it's got all the recipe of a typical computer game - a bunch of girls overwhelmingly interested in a stupid guy who hasn't got a clue and who is lost in his own world! 'Just can't stand it! I think I'm done with this... :-( |

| Nice second episode, it was defiantly a good re-make of the second episode from the 2002 version! Though I preferred the Frog Clock more from the 2002 version as there they showed that Nayuki loves frogs and gives her favorite clock to Yuuichi, still this neko clock has quite the same effect and will probably have the same purpose in the end of the Anime! The part that Yuuichi ask's Nayuki that he doesn't want to have everyone know that they're living under the same roof was better imo with the 2002 version as now Yuuichi also met Mai and Sayuri before Yuuichi met Mai alone for the first time! Though it was not really an introduction it felt a bit out of place. Though the meeting with Shiori was the same so that was rather good they kept it the same! Other than the direct avoiding reaction from Shiori that she doesn't want to show the Break Away Knife to them it was mostly the same! Even at the ending with Ayu I preferred the box scene of the 2002 version over the cloak that she had now, it was way more funnier with a box chasing Yuuichi! Other than that it was a great second episode, love the 2006 version quite allot of Kanon and hope this version will get more in depth with some arcs! This version also makes it more realistic looking and for an anime like this that's always a good thing though it makes some parts less funny for some! |

| well it definitely has the same comedy as in Clannad, kind of like that. However the ratio of girls to guys is starting to shift way too far... normally this would be a good thing but it kind of screws up the plot of most anime. Having 30 girls all fall for an average joe just kind of ruins school anime that are trying to contain some type of reality in them. |

| Ayu did something weird at the end. She was about to remove her left glove, but she hesitated and instead go with her right hand. My guess is that there is something on her right hand (a scar/burn) that she doesn't want Yuuichi to see, maybe it was even his fault. About the episode, it was good. I guess we saw every important character by now. I wonder where it is heading, I though he would take more time to remember Ayu, since the show seem based on the fact that he try to remember his past. Poor him, having to wake up with such an horrible symphony... Nayuki is really crazy xD |

| Okay, to be honest, this episode still gave me props for the 2002 version. And what is with the debut of Makoto? Way too early! The 2002 version also had the extra comedic effect of her appearing from a box. This version disappointed me in this aspect. Nevertheless, KyoAni really surprised me by its use of excellent graphics, especially tone colour used to evoke the mood throughout the 2 episodes thus far. Although, in terms of introductory, Toei's Kanon did it a notch better. Trust me, the 2002 version wasn't that bad, at least for the start and the very end. Additionally, the lack of focus for Nayuki's part in this 2006 version thus far disappoints me too. After she went to club, her role practically disappeared, while the 2002 had some time spent at least developing her with Yuuichi. I also dislike Yuuichi's personality in this KyoAni version. While he is intended to be crude and sarcastic for the comedic effect, I personally believe that KyoAni did way too much than normal and made Yuuichi too extreme, whereas the 2002 version had Yuuichi in the right proportion. I hope they can tone down on his personality. Nevertheless, this version had it better for Ayu in my opinion. The chopsticks aside (yay I'm a left-hander too), her moment during Shiori's debut appearance was slightly better and more natural than the 2002 version. However, there was no foreshadowing in this version at all (2002 Spoilers) and I can't seem to like Shiori in this appearance as compared to the better 2002 version in this aspect. Seems like there are many bad aspects I have named out? Well, KyoAni still did it better in the rest, such as OST and graphic, which is way superior compared to the 2002 version. Since it is extended to 24-episode, I guess double the length may end up being beneficial for this version of Kanon. Expect great and emotional things from this. 4/5 |

| Cute episode! Ayu running again with the food without paying. xD The girl at the end looks like she'll be funny, she was pretty & cute. All the characters thus far are though haha. The whole jam scene was hilarious, poor Yuuichi. He just went for one big bite cause he couldn't handle it LOL. |

| I don't think that it was so much better than first episode as everyone here, for me it was around the same. Also the dreams thing.. the same as in clannad I wonder how would I feel if I had watched Kanon before Clannad? |

| Nayuki's sleep habits remind me of my little sister...getting to wake her up is a chore, especially if you don't have the tricks of experience up your sleeve. |
