| I thought it was really good -- I just saw it again the other week in english for the first time. It had been a while since I saw the series, and I'd forgotten how beautiful it was. Everything from the snowy town scenery, to the opening music with Ayu's narration, and of course we cant forget her uguu~ I figured I'd at least give some discussion here since there probably won't be many people commenting on it at these point (3000 MALians already completed it), but there are 300 or so watching right now, so they could surprise me ;) In any case, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series! |

| Well, I was going to wait until I finished Clannad, but I just couldn't help myself. I thought it was a great first episode! Everyone is so cute~ Yuuichi seems pretty cool; it helps that his seiyuu does Kyon. :D Ayu is uber adorable. I love her "Uguu~" Onward! |

| that was a good a good episode, the piano sequence that goes on in the middle and end reminds me a lot of a piano sequence right out of FF8... they are almost identical... |

| Uguu~ =D I watched the other Kanon series several years ago and gladly, I do have a memory problem with the whole story too. I vaguely remembered some of the stuff and the characters, but I have no idea how thing'll continue. Happy me~! Well, the animations and especially the character design really surprised me, it all looked very nice. I also like the intro very much, it's very uplifting. I can't really say much about the rest of it since it just started, but I have the feeling things will get very interesting. |
| I havent watched this yet for some reason, but I'm noticing some odd and some obvious similarities in animes... The main looks like Kyon from Haruhi and acts like Tomoya. The "porter" is obviously the original Sunohara from Clannad, and the girl with him is possibly Kyou. The tayaki girl is the original Fuko. Well I certainly wouldn't mind watching the original Clannad, looks great to me. For some reason "Ayu Ayu" was hilarious to me. |

| i agree the "porter" looks really much like Sunohara. I didn't like the main man character. I can really feel the Visual Novel in it... I don't like that >.> I have not read the VN yet but I get its feeling. btw in the bar/pub the song it played was Canon... any connections to Kanon? I have read somewhere Clannad meant family in some weird language, what about Kanon? anyone know, plz comment in my profile, I probably won't come back to this topic xD |

| So I finally managed to sit down and watch an ep of some bug-eyed kyoani show. Ayu was pretty funny with her braindead attitude. I might have made a mistake but I started to watch the dubbed version. Every time Nayuki has a line I her Ayumi from Magikano sayin' Not so faast biatch! XD |

| Personally think people shouldn't compare the two works despite being made by the same studio; they eventually establish themselves as two distinct series along the line. It's still a great series as is AIR and CLANNAD. Hoping Angel Beats! will be as good as these three, despite being one of the shortest works broadcasted so far. Btw, it's been years since I first watched it and the OP and ED are still one of the best I've ever seen along with its OST. Not many series have totally surpassed Kanon's music, save for CLANNAD and arguably AIR. Kanon has some really nice upbeat tracks to lift anyone's spirit, in my opinion. |

| Now I remember why I disliked Ayu in the original Kanon. Stupid Uguu~. Looking forward to Mai and Makoto's arcs though, hopefully they'll be just as good if not better than the original. |

| it's been almost a year since i watched this...and since it's winter now i think a rewatch is mandatory :p the first episode was better than i remember,also i noticed some things in the background ...they're not really spoilers but still :) i also realised that this anime can be a bit childish...i mean there are alot of coincidences 5/5 |
