| The cat part is nice but they could cut in half (or less) the human drama part. It remember me a little of Koneko no Chii, which is adorable. |

| This was cute, and funny. The main character is pretty relatable, not wanting to get spoiled and preferring his hobby over other people's company. lol And the cat is really cute, a pity it already suffered quite a bit, losing one of its siblings to hunger. |

| Aw that was actually a good episode. I like how his ideas just burst out of him everytime the cat does something. Also Hitori reminds me of Twelve from Zankyou no Terror. Anyone sees this or its just me? |

| Wow, this series opened up pretty depressing right from the start, huh. But I'm glad they don't shy away from the themes of death though, since strays also face that threat daily with starvation, large birds of prey as predators, or vehicles. I hope all her other siblings have found homes, even if one of them was shown to have not made it, which was pretty sad. I hope he takes that cat to get all the necessary work done like a full check-up, vaccines, and whatnot...since you don't know what it's carrying. Strays (and even regular indoor house-cats) will eat nearly anything when out in the streets, even hunting birds or rats which can be full of diseases. I wonder if he bought or made her a litter box yet? Overall, I'm quite enjoying the fluffiness of the series. TL;DR A cat is fine too. |
| This was a nice surprise. Chi's sweet home is one of my favourite shows, so any anime with a cute cat is a must watch. This has it's own charm to it too, i'm looking forward to seeing more. |

| As a cat lover I loved this episode. The relationship feels so natural. My cats never brought me food, especially the oldest one, but I know what they feel just by looking at them. |

| Found kinda boring the "sickness" of the MC, being like "Ohhh.. Poor me, peoples talking to me restrain my imagination". The rest is pretty cool, loved the cat view part. |
| I agree, the first half was alright, but the second half with the cat's POV was great. I shed a few tears when the cat was reminded of its sibling, who also stopped moving ;_; The MC's lifestyle definitely is concerning, so it's no wonder the cat would worry about him and stay with him. But ofc, in the end, its main reason for staying is because of the food! It was a heartwarming and sweet first episode, I look forward to seeing more interactions between the MC and the cat, as well as seeing the MC grow. |

| Holy crap that cat is so cute. I've wanted a cat my whole life but I could not get one because my mom is afraid of animals. And now that I live alone and go to University, I still can't get one. This episode made me tear up a bit |
| I didn't notice this anime when I was wondering what to watch this season. But it has cats, and on twitter lots of persons were like: hey, it has cats, interesting plot, etc. So I gave it an oportinuty. Basically was an interesting episode. Every cat always gives something to the person he considers leader (as the anime explain). I have a cat and he do the same. I'll continue watching. |

It certainly isn't the hundredth time that anime comes up with some superficial, one-sided anti-social protagonist only to moralising its audience with simplistic message like "be more outgoing." Agreed, I think the portrayal of the misanthropic creative type with his head in the clouds and disdain for his fellow human beings was very much by the numbers and is frankly overplayed at this stage. That being said I think the potential clash with his editors could have been an intriguing story line if well-executed. Overall this series just didn't do it for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the clashes between the MC and his helicopter-mum-type editor, but when the cat started talking about repaying favours I was totally done with this show. I understand the appeal especially for soon-to-be cat ladies and full blown cat ladies, which is obviously a growing demographic with the current ideological drift of the West, but as I don't belong to that subsection of the population and don't even like cats that much this is a hard pass from me. Yes, the cat was very kawai and sweet but the inner monologue it had was total nonsense. Cats don't care about their owners apart from food and physical comfort, so who is going to believe an altruistic cat that wants to save the poor antisocial MC? Which is a shame because I think there could have been an interesting story to tell about the creative process and how aspiring authors interact with the world around them. Given that creative types don't adhere to normal office hours and often live unusual lifestyles I believe there could have been a cool story to tell between the pressures of getting a draft done by the deadline while coping with the mundane day-to-day and the grief for his recently deceased parents. Maybe it picks up and maybe it doesn't, but the first episode was not enough to convince me to watch anymore of this. I know one shouldn't judge a book by its cover or an anime by its first episode, but this was honestly weak stuff. I just wasn't feline it! |

| I already cried when they showed the kitty's dead siblings while she was concerned for MC. She has so many cute shots, it was adorable when she decided to stay after eating a can of tuna. We have five cats and seven dogs in our house, all belong to different cousins lol so I instantly fall in love with series that feature them or any kind of animal, really. I recently starting reading Ojisama to Neko and it keeps melting my heart with its adorable moments and not to mention that the MC in Ojisama to Neko is daddy. |

| Feels like Udon no Kuni... or Barakamon (which I hated due to its slapstick but this one seems better). Different POVs are interesting, wonder if it becomes recurring rule. Guess I'll give a chance to this series afterall. |

| This definitely reminds me of Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko but with reversed roles and a less melancholic approach. That said, it was a decent start but I didn't find it that special yet. I guess I will have to wait a few more episodes to feel fully interested in the characters. |
| Glad Subaru decided to feed and adopt the cat. My real cat also shows concern when it see that I'm tired or stressed. :> It's sad reality that many stray kittens would die on the street, there are hundreds of them, impossible to save all... |
