Sword Art Online (light novel)
| When I look at each season of sao without considering art or sound, just how good the story, writing, and characters are, I think s1 is like a 2/10, s2 is like a 3/10, s3 is like a 3.5/10, but s4 part 1 is like a 7/10. (s4 part 2 is back down to a 3/10 that was garbage). Removing Kirito and focusing on side characters was far better than anything before in the series. The character development was admittedly a little forced and rushed but it was still better than nothing. Also the writing and story was setting up to be fairly good even though part 2 ruined everything. Combined with the god tier animation and sound I'd honestly give s4 part 1 a 8 or 8.5 out of 10. Does anyone think that this season wasn't the best? |

| I do agree, alicization was much better than the Sao 1 and 2 |

| SAO WOU is good but Gabriel sucked really hard. He just binded his GGO account into the underworld and he became OP just like that? Unlike Kirito, he trained many years throughout the game and he became a great swordsman. |

Except that i think Ordinal Sacle Movie is 10/10. Haven't read Moon Cradle or Progressive, much less Unital Ring because their LN Volume aren't available in my country yet (only until volume 9 for main Series is available in my country). But i doubt i'll like Progressive more than Alicization, my dear Alice will not be there ;/. |

| First half of Alicization was actually very good and arguably the best part of the franchise, because Kirito was stwrting from scratch and had a lot of room for development. Also, Eugeo took some of screentime, so we did not had to see Kirito all the time. Unfortunately, this did not lasted and by the second half of second part SAO went full trash again. |

Yup it was really nice how they made it a sort of traditional story about knigths and nobility, all while making Alice a genuinely great female Sao character. It's truely a massive shame S2 fuc*ed it all. All the last stands were meaningless, the tactics, though sometimes simplistic, were thrown out the window and hey look Kirito is a god now for....some reason? Best part about part 1/S1 was the fact we actually got to see the war, in full. I really expected it to just be the show starting with some monologue telling us there was a war on elsewhere but in the end we actually got to see something pretty cool and fresh. Curse you part 2, curse you.....without doubth part 2 is the worst section of Sao other then maybe Alfhiem but atleast I didn't really expect anything from it😅😅. |
