Synopsis

Miko Yotsuya's eyes water as she fixates on a single spot on her phone—she ignores yet another dreadful, horrific monster that is in her face, uttering the disturbing words: "Can you see me?" Before now, Miko enjoyed her unassuming high school days, with late-night horror shows serving only as a form of entertainment. But ever since one fateful day, she is the only person aware of the invisible monsters walking freely among humans.

Courageously, Miko makes a bold decision: she will never, under any condition, acknowledge the presence of the horrid specters. However, even though she pretends they do not exist, she can still see how they disturb the people around her, especially her best friend, the energetic and lovely Hana Yurikawa. In order to protect them from the monsters' annoyances, Miko gives it her best to continue her school life and avoid every troublesome crisis—even when they scare her to tears.

A young girl sees the spirits of those who have not yet moved on from this world or cannot otherwise find peace. What's more is that these incorporeal entities are terrifying in appearance and while they are normally unable to interact directly with the world, the spirits that remain are capable of touching those who can see them, and so Mieruko cannot ever acknowledge their existence - easier said than done.

Mieruko-chan is a story about how the protagonist copes with her ability to see terrible and monstrous figures while trying to figure out what she can do to better repel spirits from herself or avoid ...

Mixed Feelings
I haven't read the manga, so be aware that I'm going to speak as someone who only knows the facts narrated in the season aired in 2021.
The premise of the story is the same as "The Sixth Sense", that is, the protagonist is a person who sees dead people all the time. The problem is that in the first episodes the ecchi is so frequent that it disrupts the atmosphere of tension that a horror scene requires. I have no problem with ecchi, (even the Monogatari franchise and Golden Boy are among my favorite animes) but this time it really harmed my immersion ...

So this was insanly dissapointing.

This Anime did not make close to enough improvement or developement of Characters or Story to be interessting.
It makes you feel like watching the same episode over and over again because exactly the same happens over and over again.

For People who hoped for an good horror Comedy Anime this will end up boring and dissapointing, it doesnt has any Comedy Elements that make u enjoy this Anime or actually grin or laugh to it.
I only watched it through hoping for anything catching to happen but it didnt.

The Animations are alright i would say.
