One main male characters surrounded by a lot of pretty girls. Girls in both series are stronger than normal human being, fighting with magic and superpowers. Both series are harem-based with a lot of fan services to keep your eyes open.

Same thing different approach... Seal powers with a kiss.

It's about male characters fighting along side stronger female characters.

There is one Guy Always Surrounded by Girls and They all In Love with him and want to be with him for ever! Both of Them Has SuperPowers. There Are many Challenging Events. I love Both of Them And I keep ReWatching Them Alot!

In both animes they got a master whom they are fighting together with to become the last ones left and win the competition.

Girls on opposite teams fighting each other using special powers. Both are ecchi series, but Sekirei has more fanservice.
report Recommended by Nek0
Both include a master and a magical/fighting girl who make a couple and fight to survive and be the last ones standing.

Same thing different approach... Girls from the skies, however our heroe is more silly.
report Recommended by RomelSan
Both literally revolve around a bunch of girls becoming a type of subordinate to some guy through a kiss. Lots of fan service and magical type fighting in both. Crazy outfits and hot girls... need I say more?

Really Hot, Well endowed Girls. Beating the crap out of each other. Need I say more?

XD Fighting big boobed girls...
report Recommended by ragecandy
Both are about a harem of well endowed women with special powers fighting their own kind while trying to with the love of the harem lead. Lots of boob shots ensue.
report Recommended by LittleCaesars
both have a similar plot where a girl and a guy sign a contract together too fight it seems like there is a lot in common here with the fighting and the action
report Recommended by jbissel
Both harem shows, which involved girls with magic powers, and which the main character has to kiss them to activate it.
report Recommended by Tenshiholic
In Mai-HiME, the Hime fight eachother untill there is one left. Much like the sekirei. They also both have some type of orginization behind it, to an extent. The girls both have some type of magical powers that they use to fight each other (Mai-HiME uses summons along with other powers). Both also have some fanservice, although sekirei has a lot more of it than Mai-Hime.
report Recommended by Hellmonkey
Both Shows Have a similar goal of winning a game, the Sekirei Game, and the Alice game. Similarly, when you lose the game, you lose your mark of belonging. Same in both anime. Both also have multiple Female characters that like the main character.
report Recommended by xKana
Lots of girls. One guy. Powers. Action. Fighting. Love. It is almost the same thing except they aren't in school.
report Recommended by 13grica
Very similar set up, Hot girl appears, she has magically powers, they start living with each other. Later other magical girls appear. They have adventures and battle. While the main character (a simple man) and the magical girl have a funny relationship etc.
report Recommended by Neferium
-Both animes are about receiving or meeting a third party to supply you with powers to fight in a survival game, and aim to defeat the other parties to win the game.
report Recommended by MagicFlier
Both series have female combatants. Sekirei is more fan serviced based.
report Recommended by seeker1458
Storyline is nearly an exact copy. A girl chooses their master and lives inside their apartment. The Landlord wonders who he's hiding... a perfect match. If you want something similar to this story watch DearS while your waiting.
report Recommended by DarkAssassin31
-Both character has the same feel -Harem at its best Sekirei tends to side with actions while Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai tends to side with comedy and romance.
report Recommended by franzkk56
both are ecchi and harem series. both about number of girls with magical power and ability and serve/help the main protagonist.
report Recommended by Tenshiholic
Sekirei and Monster Musume are two ecchi harems that involve non-human girls living in the same house as the main character. The characters from each show are extremely similar; I can associate almost every main character of Monster Musume to a Sekirei character. Both shows have some comedy in them. In both shows, there's a character that strictly forbids the MC to have sex with the girls (Smith and Miya)
report Recommended by Brutal98
ecchi and uusual powers
report Recommended by Sqwar
Both are school slice-of-life anime with a taste of master x servant tournament fighting.
report Recommended by TehRevSlayer
One guy, many girls, you get the idea. Both main characters are also students at college. Ai Yori Aoshi focuses more on drama and romance while Sekirei has more action. The storyline for both series also gets emotional at many points.
report Recommended by Stark700
Has the same concept of "A person/being fighting for another person." Loveless is more towards the Josei genre, and tends to be more psychological. Also, you don't have big booty bitches jumping around. Loveless has homosexual pairings.
report Recommended by MonochromeSong
Same theme, Sekirei is just a pervier version of Gash Bell, lol.
report Recommended by cr4sian_phil
Both dealing with a guy surrounded by beautiful girls who can fight. Also very ecchi with a big amount of comedy. If you like one, you'll definitely like the other.
report Recommended by Tenchi_Ryu
Its just starting out. but i think these 2 are very similar. Both have some content of nudity.... but the story is along similar lines. both have to do with getting your wish, and they are both playing a live battle royal game among the city. Plus Both Mains Use Fists. Must Warn: Zettai Shougeki has strong Nudity. Please refrain from watching if underage. =]
report Recommended by Belink
Both have ecchi, big boobed girls who fight one another. Though the stories are different. They are filled with action and nipple shots
report Recommended by spineslayer
Basically....Main Character lives normal life until 1 girl turns it around! Main Character gets surrounded by more girls as story goes on Both series involve fighting Sekirei has nothing to do with zombies and monsters though Both have Supernatural Powers And I guess both has Love-Romance in it

It's tough being a schoolboy who can't catch a break. Then suddenly, you find yourself surrounded by women who only want what's best for you. Touma and Minato are very similar characters. Granted, their fighting abilities are different, but their women pack an equal punch. Standing up for those they love and fighting against an entire city-controlling government as well as some other factions. No shortage of women getting punched in the face either. Equality!
report Recommended by AuronPond
Both have a higher motive and objective to obtain with those powers we love to see in anime. whilst DW is 1 series long and doesn't develop the characters all that much Sekirei shows a lot of development and it's very ecchi. if you look at Sekirei it like an adult prospect of Pokemon watch and you'll see
report Recommended by oxiTzKingsox
The characters are similar, and they're both ecchi fighting series. Also: Large breasts.
report Recommended by emperortopaz
Both the girl wants the boy but in this case they're a lot of girls and the boy have to form a group of girls to fight, same kind of Ecchi show, panty shoots...
report Recommended by oblow20
One guy, many girls, you get the idea. Also, in both series, the MC is not a complete idiot and wins the hearts of some of the other girls through kindness and determination. Both series also have a little of "ecchi" and fan-service. Sekirei has more action while Green Green focuses more on drama.
report Recommended by Stark700
Both involve a guy with many girls fawning over him. One is a purely ecchi series, while the other a semblane of a plot. Also, expect a lot fanservice, A LOT.
report Recommended by MFK
Manage to watch 1 ep, my first thing that popped into mind was The Law of Ueki. People participate into some kind of tournament....
report Recommended by J_Ly
Both are about a powerless guy who is protected by superpowered girls, and both are Harem-Action-Ecchi.Differences are in Sekirei the girls are who's being targeted while in Sumomomo momomo it's the guy, also the Male main Charcthers are almost opposites,In Sekirei he is trying to protect the girls even though he can hardly do anything and attacks obstacles head on while in Sumomomo momomo the main guy hides behind the girls and try's to weasel himself out of everything.
report Recommended by Ozzey
While Popotan and Sekirei have little to nothing in common, they for sure DO have large breasted ladies.
report Recommended by twiggymac
Above anime have lots in common with the fact that male protagonist is always surrounded by bunch of girls but is too dense to even understand and female's around him are too forward but also shy to directly tell him that !!!
report Recommended by Ep1c1aN
- Main character is unexpectedly given a "tool" to participate in a battle game - That "tool" being girls that arent human a will fight others of their species - Project by government - Main character is very nice and will do whatever it takes to help their tools/girls Bascially Sekirei is the ecchi harem version and Fantasista Doll is the PG version where the main characters are young instead of college students like in Sekirei. Fantasista Doll is a lot more light-hearted as it was made for a younger audience.
report Recommended by Emeraldyoukai
sekirei is the light version of elfen lied. if you want to overcome the sadness after watching elfien lied, you're gonna need something to watch to enjoy yourself and I recommend "sekirei". I promise you will enjoy the show :D
report Recommended by Luuji222
both contain evolved human-like species that need to fight eachother both contain a good bunch of female combatants both contain a male main character that is forced into living with them

If you like action and big ole' bazongos, you'll enjoy both.
report Recommended by bambiraptorx
human looking non-humans contracting with humans to gain special powers and are used to fight each other, both have that "stay together" thing, though sekirei is more on the ecchi harem side
report Recommended by unknownfile
In both shows, the main character (Minato in Sekirei, Ash in Pokemon) recruits new team members to use in battle after getting said team members to bond with him (in Sekirei, Minato "wings" new Sekirei by getting them to fall in love with him and then kissing them; in Pokemon, Ash catches new Pokemon after getting the Pokemon to trust him). Then the protagonist of each series has to use his new team members to battle other Pokemon trainers(in Pokemon)/Ashikabi (in Sekirei) in a tournament (although there isn't always a tournament in Pokemon). Keep in mind that Sekirei is not appropriate for kids at all  read more

Romance, Fan-Service, Action, Supernatural! The main characters in these anime are both male and surrounded by beautiful females closing the relation with being a master or a servant/slave (sexually). If you like this, consider watching the anime and have your self a good time!
report Recommended by 10makunn
Both male main characters kisses their female ally in order to power them up and to fight for them!

These are almost similar. If you love to watch Ecchi / Harem / Romance / Comedy with a little bit mix of Mecha (Sometimes) These two are the great choices. I am a picky person when it comes to Anime so if I recommend an Anime probably 55%-65% Guaranteed That you would like it also. AvJ Don't Let me Go.

Both Main Character are known to have cute girls of all different types living together with him as well as these cute girls contain supernatural powers
report Recommended by Rashikabi-san
i know this has no similarity to the plot but they are both very funny they both have comedy, ecchi, harem in them also has alot of girls going after the guy
report Recommended by F0R3V3RAL0N3
All about battling beautiful girls, but in Sekirei the male prontagonist was weak person
report Recommended by nekoyaki
Both are about humans being able to control spirits to fight for them.
report Recommended by MapoTofu
Both titles have females lead characters with superhuman powers that can kick ass. Both shows deal with a young boy suddenly meeting a girl and eventually make a contract/bound with her. While Birdy the Mighty Decode has more of a sci-fi nature and Sekirei is more ecchi, they are both very action pack shows. If you like one, you may probably like the other.
report Recommended by Hellspawn28
In both series females have to protect the male(s) from danger, and both have magic-related skills. Sekirei is more based on action and emotional scenes while Wagaya no Oinari-sama is more based on comedy and slice-of-life.
report Recommended by Dunkjoe
Judging from the first episode, Sekirei is similar to Mai-Otome in that there are the girls (otome) who gets a master when they become miesters, just like when they "get their wings" in sekirei.
report Recommended by Hellmonkey
Super Ecchi!Sekirei is more ecchi in the sense that it has clothing ripped off and if you watch the dvd version...wow) Harem! Wow. Yup pretty damn good. Comedy! Both are quite hilarious in their momments! Action! Sekirei has a different type of action but yea, they're great! Romance is kinda similar as well. BASICALLY! I like ecchi comedy romance and they both are great in all these categories. Chao.

Both animes have powerful girls protecting the guy main character
report Recommended by yoith
For some reason Sekirei's first episode reminded me to Love Hina, specifically to Keitaro; Minato and Keitaro were both trying to get into college but, sadly for them, they failed several times the entrance exam.
report Recommended by Ryoujin
-Both animes are about receiving or meeting a partner (coincidence or not) to fight in a survival game, and aim to defeat the other partnerships to win the game.
report Recommended by MagicFlier
In Both the animes, a magical girl appears suddenly before the hero...and ends up asking the hero to join her in the fight...against Spirits in Tayutama and in Sekirei he is the Ashikabi... and both have multiple heroines(though Sekirei has a whole load of girls)...

-Both animes are about receiving or meeting a third party to supply you with powers to fight in a survival game, and aim to defeat the opposing parties to win the game. -Both contains romance and ecchi

a special power is needed in both shows to win against the enemies. Alice from PH needs permission from Oz to unleash her full powers since he has the ability to control everything from the abyss. in Sekirei, Minato an Ashikabi helps unleash the Sekirei's full fighting potential. These series both have romance, action, supernatural. They're both an amazing show that you can't afford to miss.

Buxom women fighting in a tournament. Heavy in ecchi and fanservice themes; what more can you want?

+Both have girls saving boys. +Both have pretty girls. +Both have same felling like [they in somebody's game]. +Both boys are not strong but want to save their friends. +Both the main boys family is part of something supernatural or science friction.

1st Anime that comes to mind after seeing Sekirei! Both have a guy down on his luck that happens to have a secret talent Both have 3 or more women fighting (literally) for his attention Both have a big boobed, blue eyed, and blond haired girl Both have a bit of slice of life as well as a bit of magic (or for Sekirei science) Both a bit ecchi as well Both hilarious and heart warming.
report Recommended by mala420
I found these anime surprisingly similar. Both are about a girl (Robot in CPU/Mutant in Sekirei) protecting their master from the others that are the same kind as them. Sekirei is the better anime by a long shot, but odds are if you enjoyed this as I did, then you will for sure in enjoy Sekirei. P.S. both anime feature -Beautiful women are "servants" to their master's wishes -Battles of epic proportion -Very plain male leads -Yes, nudity is in both as well.
report Recommended by mala420
They both involve (to differing extents, though) fights between girls that are ranked in terms of fighting power. In both series, girls have different powers. Its different because Sekirei seems to focus less on the fights and more on harem/comedy elements. In contrast, the general tone of 'Claymore' is solemn.
report Recommended by tk_a
Same scenario guy gives power to the girls and they fight someone
report Recommended by Klayden
Actually surprised no one recommended this before. Both animes have non-human girls fighting to protect a guy (and they all love him). Sekirei is like a more modern version of SMJ with lots of fan service.
report Recommended by Limechan
Both have main female harem characters that are very likable and crave the general and sexual attention of the hero, also both have a likable main lead, they actually DO things to deserve the girls fawning over him compared to just getting ridiculously lucky.
report Recommended by Tenchi_Ryu
i cant say too much without giving away spoilers but... sekirei - a game is set loose in the city with many player able to make bonds with many "wepons" and have to battle it out. fun , a bucket load of action scenes, and more echi than you can shake a stick at. kaze no stigma- differnet sets of mages (set in modern day japan , like sekirei) the leading man being banished from the strongest of the fire clans for being week (having no control over fire sprites) and comes back years later as a wind mage. let the battle comence as our  read more

Both animes start with a girl falling from the sky onto a boy, and then they start living together in the boy's apartment. Both animes have a main female character with big breasts and many other girls with different costumes.

Sekirei has plenty of similarities, from what I see, like Rozen Maiden (Alice game and Sekirei Plan) and Claymore ("numbered girls", with higher numbers bring of higher strength), but none moreso than Negima. One main character, a harem of beautiful girls, with plenty of ecchi-ness, contracts with the main via kisses. Its a matter of taste which one a person prefers. Negima is has more lolis, and Sekirei has more boobs.
