The first thing that came into my mind after seeing Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? was dog days..Both are fantasy anime in which the hero is invited to another world for participating in a game.

Both are about an overpowered protagonist that finds himself in another world. In SAO, the protagonist is stuck in the other world, while in Mondaiji, the protagonist is bored and stays in the world and somehow has superpowers.

Both series involve a group of characters in a fantasy world where there is comedy, drama, and action. The characters themselves possesses supernatural powers that allow them to fight par-to-par with various adversaries. Both series' main protagonists is strong, independent, and is a boss. Both series have various competitions that push various characters to be their best.

Aside from having relatively lengthy titles, these two series each take place in a parallel world and are centered around the wacky adventures of a motley crew of four (one guy and three girls) aspiring to defeat a certain demon lord.

Both main characters have some god-defying powers and throw crazy punches. They both have strength that all other pussy main characters dont have, starting off strong and staying consistent throughout the anime

Both have a main character who are extremely overpowered and can beat anything no matter how strong. Their friends are also powerful and have special powers but can still be beaten.

In both series, there is a theme where a main protagonist travels to another world where his life seemingly changes forever. There is a lot of humor and fun dialogues in both series. Along with that, there's the humor, drama, and action. In Ixion Saga DT, that action is presented in the way that is considered to be more a parody. On the other hand, Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?'s action is more serious but still maintains that fun atmosphere. Both series also has some fun interactions between the cast members in the new world that they goes to.

Overpowered humans (and a tank) from our world beat the crap out of residents of another fantasy world.

Mondajiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? really caught me off guard. It's an incredibly magical experience, so if you like Fairy Tail then I think you'll love this. Both have interesting humor, lots of magic and spectacular adventure. I just started Mondajiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? and I am already hooked.

Other than having a long title, the two anime share some similarities: -They set in a fantasy world with magic, and various races -The guild system in Mondaiji pretty much works the same as the families in DanMachi -While DanMachi has a dungeon Mondaiji have zones, the concept is the same, the further you are in,the harder it gets. -Have slight ecchi If you liked one, most likely you would enjoy the other show as well!

The main characters are quite similar. They're both op, very intelligent, smug, selfish and laid back. And good looking. The two series also share a few elements, like action, comedy and fantasy.

Both anime has problematic characters that cannot go well with other peoples. Mondaiji-tachi has its view mainly on the problem childrens that are bored living their life. This anime is worth to watch because it only has 10 episodes and every episode you watch makes you to want it. Sakurasou focussses on the problematic peoples that lives on sakurasou(the dorm that they live) and show to us the development of each characters. This anime shows us the gap of commoners and geniuses and this anime suceeded at doing this. The first few episodes does not show any of this but it will be shown in later episodes. I personally  read more

Both anime involve a group of problem children. The diferrence is that Mondaiji-tachi takes place in another world and NouCome takes place in school. Both are colourful and enjoyable.

The two animes involve the rebuilding of certain groups that have hit rock bottom. Mondaiji-tachi is about restoring a community/clan to its former glory while Amagi Brilliant Park focuses on a sort of business community and its attempt to revitalize itself and draw in visitors. Both groups are magical in nature, though the shows are from somewhat different genres with one being more action oriented.

Three kids are invited to another world because they think their world is too boring. They are guided by a girl named kurousagi. Both Mahou Sensou and Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara kuru sou desu yo? have "communities", and are trying to fight an evil force.
report Recommended by TsukanaYamashiro
In terms of a main character being overpowered and badass these two match in a ton of ways. Other than that I can't say the stories are similar other than they each a somewhat of a community in which they are trying to protect/fight for.

Similarities - MCs are practically gods or yield the power of gods - Criminally underestimated in - Mixed in comedy, although in form of misunderstandings in PW - MCs befriend powerful beasts because of their power/personalities Differences - Perfect World ( PW / Wanmei Shijie) is a Chinese Donghua and Mondai-tachi (MT) is a Japanese Anime - PW is CGI versus MT is 2D animation - PW storyline is sad and cruel, MT is normal high school - PW storyline is in a wuxia setting, MT is set in modern Japan and a fantasy world - PW MC grows up from young and grows throughout series, MT is already a teenager

Bothe anime have a similar tone and one could summarise both of their plots at once: An isekai in a game world where the main cast consist of a small group of young people that are disproportionaly powerful. After making friends, getting used to the world and overcoming some early chellanges, they find themseves in the center of an evil plot that threatens the entire region. Apart from that, the actual worlds and dynamics are quite different. Dendrogram has the more plausible, if boring premice - a VR-MMORPG that has no clear goal and soundls like normal life plus super powers and a quest system - while the  read more

If you like Action Heavy Anime With some Comedy in it then those two are for you tho.

Both deal with a fantasy world. They both give off a similar vibe and are overall fantastic anime shows. Great artwork, in my opinion, for both!

While there may not be any direct similarities, the shows emit very similar feelings. In addition, they both have somewhat similar art styles, and are very upbeat overall.

If you like animes where the protag is OP, like you want him to bear your children. then these two are some of the best. both protags is cool, doesnt really care about the imposible thing that just happend, just accepts it and kick ass.

Character-wise, Wizard Barristers and Mondaiji-tachi have characters so perfect as to be annoying. Wizard Barristers have the mary-sue character Cecil, and Mondaiji-tachi has Izayoi as the gary-stu (female version of mary-sue) character. Anime fans who like perfect characters as perfect as perfection itself, cliche relationship towards other characters and also upstages every other characters, possesses unbelievable unimaginable powers to defeat enemies easily for the convenience of the plot, lacks any realistic or story-relevant character flaws, if you like these kinda, then definitely try Wizard Barristers and Mondaiji-tachi.

Both are set in fantasy worlds with teens chosen to fight for the good side (One against a demon and the other against a dark community). The male protagonists are also pretty confident in their own abilities.
report Recommended by Sorghaghtani
From both series, I find a similarity between them. There is the fantasy world setting involving where most of the events from both series takes place. The female characters from both series are independent and are able to deal with problems at hand. Then, there's a lot of humor present but also action as well because of some of the conflicts going on. Fan service is present in both series so expect some of that as well. In general, expect some fantasy fun.

Looks like a magical world, Moon Rabbit, fantasy battles and cards of power. Characters possess magical skills. Shiroyasha clothes look like the same as the characters in Touhou.

Main characters are sent to another world. Both are OP and have to enter into a game. Lots of magic, fighting, and comedy. They can't go back to their world till the game is complete.

Both anime are slightly similar. High School DxD reminds you of Mondaiji in using gift/rating games to defeat the opposing team (dxd: other demon family, mondaiji: other communities) with both teams having team members with supernatural powers. However, Mondaiji has no fanservice compared to DxD.

Both shows deal with underdog teams competing against prestigious factions in various games to regain power, and also has a similar comedic atmosphere.

Another world theme with OP and smart mc. Both has interesting world with little deeper and darker background behind colors.

A wide variety of characters with a wide variety of abilities 'battling' for high stakes. Comedy is prevalent in both but the human cruelty is what makes them seem so similar.
report Recommended by lanblade
Both are super underrated shows about a bunch of kids coming into their supernatural abilities. They both have tasteful fanservice, great animation, and the likable characters drive both of these shows. If you like one I guarantee you'll like the other.

If you enjoy Izayoi and Black Rabbit's personalities and how they interact with each other, you would love Maid-sama. Both of these anime have cool and over power main male characters and a cool main female character they love to tease and flirt with. Maid-sama is base on romance, with a lot of action to keep it interesting, while Mondaiji is fantasy magic, with Izayoi just toying around a lot with little hints of possible romance down the line.

If you like where the main character is strong than you'll like this one. Similarities: Both strong main leads. It has a little bit of romance setting in it. They both have to deal with powers to a certain extent. Of course there are many differences such as the male lead in Mondaiji " just wants to have fun but in Densetsu " the male lead doesn't want any part of it. There is also the fact that they don't do it game style in Densetsu " but over all it has both many similarities and differences, but both are good.

This anime has a totally different feel to it but has many similarities to it as well. In Mondaiji " the main lead wanted to go there, in Btooom it wasn't anmatter of choice. While Mondaji " has more of fun and action type feel Btooom has a rather dark action, romance, horror, and fear feeling. Some similarities they might have is both main leads are strong. They both have a ton of action and you end up rotting for the main. Although Btooom has a more romance and game feel to it, like Sword Art Online, they are both very enticing and when you  read more

Both series have smiliar, colorful art styles. There's a smiliar atmosphere, also supernatural elements. "Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo" is about friendship and fighting against evil, just like "Karneval". There's also a mystery connecting this two anime. In my opinion, both are really good and it's worth seeing.

Although their story-lines aren't necessarily similar, both series have a very similar feel to them. They both have a small group of protagonists traveling around as we explore the world with them. They both have fantasy and adventure elements, and they're slightly comedic, although the focus isn't necessarily on comedy. They have extremely similar atmospheres, and if you liked one, then you would probably like the other.
