I saw "recommend me an anime!" in your signature in a forum post, and I live my life simply doing as I'm told, so here I go.
Hikaru no go, it's about a really old board game, I have no reason for thinking you'll like it and have only watched the first few episodes of it myself, but I really enjoyed them.

Oh it's using the classic CSS. I made it before MAL announced the changes to their layout style. You cannot use it if you select your layout style as "modern" :(.

Haha sure I will do once I got some time. I actually made a layout for Grimgar when it was airing :p. Too bad it wasn't a full adaptation (really wish it would be). Damn A-1, it's one of the series I hope will get a sequel ;_;

Glad to see that you liked it. Higurashi is one of my favorites, so I always try to recommend it to everyone.

If, you'd like something similar; Shiki would be a great choice. Both Shiki & Higurashi take place in a small town, where strange (horror/mystery) stuff is happening. Unlike Higurashi; Shiki doesn't do that well with the character building (except maybe.. 3). But it is the final 1/3 of the serie that blew my mind. And the 2 OVA episodes are equally good.
