Not all good anime have good plots. Nichijou is an example of an anime that I considered good even though the plot is not that developed.
So here's Nichijou. It is a comedic slice of life anime that shows the every day life of its characters. It starts with a lively opening song then a barrage of comedic segments that ends with a good ending theme song. a well developed plot against Nichijou. Making the statement more justifiable, what keeps you watching a certain anime is the plot, right? One keeps on watching to find out how the plot progresses from one episode to another. Hence, a good plot is important. Anime like Nichijou answers a different burden. You can ask yourself, "How will you keep on watching a series without a concrete plot?", Nichijou can do it. It has a successful execution in terms of barraging the viewers of comedic scenes that the viewers will expect more episodes to laugh at. Personally, I had this kind of attachment to the anime that I felt no fulfillment in finishing Nichijou (that feeling that you want more episodes like yeah). Yeah, I somehow understand those plot-wise viewers for the lack of substantiation of the plot. I recommend this anime to those who are big fans of comedy. That's Nichijou for you. It is good as it is.

Thumbs up for this anime for two reasons:
1. Plot is good. The context of the anime piques the interest of dark anime enthusiasts. The world building is good. On the early stages of the plot, I noticed that the hype of the anime is shounen - like, the classic way of showing awesome fight scenes to set the hype on the anime. Good guy Migi and partner Shinichi vs. bad parasites. But as you go on, the anime plot tries to raise philosophical values which will make you reflect if these bad guys are really bad guys or not that will make you reflect

at some parts.
2. Characters are good. First I commend the character development of Shinichi. From a nerdy guy to a hottie after a lot of trials he faced is not something you always see. Well, I guess there are some parts wherein they insert some love triangle plot by adding characters in the picture, but I guess that's unnecessary. I like how various are the parasites on strength. The characters are doing what they are supposed to do.
The anime is worth watching. Given the reasons I gave above. Thus, I give this anime a 7 - good.

Once I had a dream of being a TV personality, then I watched this anime.
I won't tell you what happened to my dream (since you can already guess what happened), but first I like to commend this anime for it's nice way of expressing the dark story line to the viewer. The things that make this anime unique from other anime with serious topics in my opinion, is that the way the anime control it's story line and how the characters interact in their given situations.

can feel the fears, worries, despair, and hardships of the characters in the anime. In the anime, you can easily grasp those emotions from the characters, making it traumatic. The feelings of despair, the fears, the worries are well expressed by the characters making it easy to understand by the viewers how the character actually feels. The actions of the characters are reasonable based on their given situations and conditions, which makes the anime realistic in when you try to think about it. You will be traumatized in a good way after you watched this anime. I really recommend this anime, if you like to experience the intense feelings of despair experienced by the characters and if you like to experience how traumatic the world the characters live in.
I find the story line of the anime creative. The rhythm of the plot is great. You can see how the story intensifies as the anime continues. All I did as I watch the anime is open my mouth and ask "what the hell is happening". One thing I like about this anime is how the plot twists intensify the story. Most of the time, plot twists in general is very crucial since instead of putting the anime to a higher level, it degrades the anime itself. I like to commend this anime for pulling off awesome plot twists, which makes it more interesting as it goes, until it ends to one great resolution.
This anime is a must-watch if you like idols, traumatic plots, weird art, plot twists and of course dark themes. If your dream is becoming a TV popstar or an awesome idol shown in the television, don't watch this anime. Thumbs up for this anime.

First few episodes of the anime gave me the idea that the retrieval of the Giftias is also the same as losing your loved ones or something more dramatic than that. I expected the story will progress by showing a series of dramatic retrievals of Giftias being attached to their owners. The first few episodes went like that, but halfway I felt it actually went in a different way.

different worlds experience that makes the viewer feel the feels. Unfortunately, I felt that I didn't feel the futuristic atmosphere in the anime, like there is no distinction between Giftias and humans. It could've been better when at some point, they objected the idea of romance between Giftias or humans since they are two different concepts. I felt that the main circumstance of the anime is that the fact that they can't be together for a long time since there is a time limit before Isla is going to be retrieved. It could be the same way in a slice of life setting, wherein two lovers can't be together since the girl has an incurable disease, and they have this time limit to enjoy their precious moments. I felt the impact of Sci-fi is not that strong for me to appreciate it. The problem with Sci-fi genres is that you can't make it a sub-genre or if you're going to add sci-fi in your anime, it should be the main impact of your anime. The romance of the anime is nice, atleast it could've been better if they mixed it with a slice of life setting.
I recommend this anime if you like tragic love stories or if you like the feels of being unable to love someone due to time and to those people who think time is such a cruel entity.

DON'T READ FURTHER IF YOU HATE SPOILERS. I heard this anime touched the hearts of most viewers. When I looked at the promotional poster (I'm not sure if that what it is called, but I'm pertaining to the picture above alternative titles.), I expected the story would be all about 5 cute girls slaying dark monsters and doing cute stuff with their pet Kyubey. Ladies and gentleman, when I finished the anime, I heard Kyubey's voice whispering to me, "It does not how it works, you sh*t."
You can't blame me though, when you hear the words, "magic" and "girls", they are compatible enough for you

to think that they are related to some sort of fairies, always being happy and doing funny stuff when you say it together. Well, it really doesn't work like that. To be honest, it exceeded my expectations of a viewer myself.
I admire this anime because of how they presented the story.
Look, it started with Madoka's slice of life moments, hanging out with friends and other sort of fun stuff of a cute happy girl would normally do. Then Kyubey comes saying, "Hey imma grant yo wish but you will be powerful and you need to fight witches." which is the contract needed to be fulfilled in order to be a cute magical girl. Well, at first, you will think it's a win-to-win situation since you have your wish granted and you will be powerful as well. You won't mind the dangers after seeing Mami-san's power in defeating witches as she demonstrates it Madoka and Sayaka, which makes you think that you're damn powerful than the witches. So in that kind of storyline and mindset while watching the anime, what will make you curious is what are they going to wish for. In the first episodes, they even have a cute ending song. One moment changed the mood of the anime, Mami just freakin' died like "whut?".
In that scene itself, many emotions can be felt. One is the sadness of losing your magic girl senpai and the fear of being vulnerable even having that awesome powers. That thought already changed the mood of the story. The anime focused on what are the troubles of being a magic girl. The revelations of being a magic girl grew from the fact you can't avoid risking your lives in slaying witches to know that you are no longer a person to the fact that you are life ends being a disaster itself. With those revelations, the art of being able to present the story from giving false assumptions what the anime is all about to slowly giving realizations found by the characters themselves. Then there's Akemi. One episode dedicated to her made the story itself. You will realize that there's something big about to happen. The slow buildup of the story actually made me kind of disappointed. The story ended is just too great for a sacrifice that can't even hold of my feels anymore.
If there are downsides of the anime, well most of it are more on personal necessities like "what could've have done" things. Like the characters of Hitomi and Kyousuke. I felt like Kyousuke just apologized to Sayaka since he regained his control to his hand and how Hitomi brings up the matter on how he likes Kyousuke and some sort like it came out of nowhere. Well, I told you it's more on personal reasons why I hate that scenes and if it doesn't go in your perspective, I need to apologize for that.

For those people who watched this anime, I know how you feel. This anime is just too damn good.

Romance anime should show how does the love story progresses. They show it through how the couple actually develops throughout the story, having the realization that they need each other by their side. The problem is, when there is too much emotion in a certain scene, the actions made by the characters sometimes turn into a unreasonable one. The problem with unreasonable actions or the ones that you call "that escalated quickly" scenes in anime, the emotion that the scene tries impose to the character actually turns into comedic one or becomes laughable at that point, making you think that the characters itself are stupid

or idiots.
What I like in this anime is that the character developments are well explained. At the start of the anime, Shirayuki is actually confused on what "path" she should take until she meets Zen, which also had his own problems in his princely life. Shirayuki's fiery personality and stubbornness actually makes her character cool. But sometimes, Shirayuki's actions in the anime are sometimes jumpy. When someone actually forces you to be brought to the prince at once, you won't just cut your hair and leave the country. At that point, what I thought is where is Shirayuki's family or friends. I actually got disappointed at the part where she cuts her hair because that made her beauty lesser, and sometimes I lack the past about Shirayuki. Like how she became a herbalist and why is she even alone in her house? Overall, I like Shirayuki and she's the prettiest girl I've ever in anime (but she cut her hair). What I like with the character of Zen is his life throwbacks are too deep and how he developed his way of thinking. It portrays that everyone should not wish of a royal life because you don't know what Zen is going through. These realizations that spouted from the anime is another thing why I liked the anime. Zen also makes "jumpy" actions, which happened on the tower where he kissed Shirayuki after looking in her injury. Some characters could've been developed more, like the royal guards or the court herbalist. But all in all, the story is clear and the you won't feel incomplete after the anime.
For a romance anime lover, this will definitely a good choice.

A series of short stories of unfortunate people who experienced paranormal happenings in their life. As I watch the series, instead of feeling the fear that the anime attempts to show to the viewer, what I felt is the disappointment of having these stories that could've been developed into an excellent horror anime was put in a 4-minute episode.
Every episode has a new story, new characters and a unique way of scaring people that could've been used to develop a new anime. I find it nice that certain episodes make me cover my face with a pillow due to the fear. At the end of

every episode, I find myself disappointed since the stories presented can already become ideas for an awesome anime series. Knowing it is a series, the time they used in making these series, they should've spend it in developing one of the stories presented into a brand new anime. Like for example, one episode of the series could've been a nice mystery, horror anime if developed more. The disappointment actually repeated for 13 times until the end of the almost an hour series.
Overall, if in terms of the goal of expressing the horror, I recommend this anime. Instead of seeing "the series of unfortunate people who experienced the creepiest moments in their lives", I view it as "a series of undeveloped ideas that sprouted from the storyteller's head".
