Both have an intresting storyline, and both develops around the "voice acting" (It's a minor thing on Sakurasou, while it's one of the main theme of Rec).

Similar atmosphere, it seems a naive anime, but it's way more darker (Madoka is really harder then how it seems). The way the color is used in both anime is uncommon and well appreciated.

Ok this could be a bit forced, but while I was watching BRS I really tought about Serial Experiments Lain, the "dark atmosphere" is similar, the unusal way the color is used in bot anime is enough. BRS is easier to comprehend while SEL isn't at all (you will understand at episode 8, but before is really hard).

>Those series are actually different, but there is one thing of Zero no Tsukaima (ZnT) that reminded me Code Geass (CG): the story start in a small place, like a school/magic accademy, and it develops throught the whole world, and so, if you appreciated that developement I'm pretty sure you will enjoy both series. >By the way, CG is much more serious, there is poor fanservice, the story is kinda a mindfuck (oh god, I loved CG so much), and the mai character is a complete badass. Meanwhile ZnT have a bright atmosphere throught 90% of the episodes, ofc there are some good touching moments, but is more based on a slow develoment and high ecchi/funny parts then on a solid story. >Personally, I think that CG is worth a 10/10, while the whole ZnT is a 9/10 (for me, as I said), while the very last season of ZnT is a bit better then the others. >I hope you will enjoy both. >CG: War, tactics and mecha. ZnT: War, ecchi and maho... ah no, magic!

>Both are good school anime. >The main male character is considered by the others a villan, but they actually arent. >Toradora! have an art style really weird, you could both love or hate it (I personally loved it, even if in the first two episodes I was displaced, but when I get used to it I appreciated). In the other hand Clannad's art is awesome. >They both have funny and painful moments where you will find your tears dropping suddenly. >The only thing that I didn't "liked" of Toradora! is that you can say how it will end till the very beginning, wich you really can't get in Clannad (by "Clannad" I mean Clannad+Clannad: After Story). >*SPOILER ALERT*Clannad (in "After Story") is a more "complete" anime, due it touch not only school but even work, wedding and parenting.*END OF THE SPOILER* >Overall I enjoyed more Clannad, but they are both masterpieces.

>They are "similar" due they are by the same director. >The art is kinda amazing in both the work, but personally I prefered the character art of Byousoku 5 Centimeter (5 cm per second). >They are short (24 min and 60 min) so you can enjoy both in your free time. >Both are sad, no way on how you look them ,they are sad. >Both yells: "Carpe diem, don't waste your chances" and actually that was the thing I loved about them. >Overall I prefered 5 cm per second, but they are both awesome anime.

>Both anime have an insane main character, I mean both Lelouch and Light are badass who want to "control" the world, even tho they aren't villans they both use illegal ways to get to their goal. >Both Lelouch and Light are geniuses, they are stronger in tactics then in fights and both of them are physically weak. >Death Note have a more dark atmosphere, Code Geass is more a lightful atmosphere. >Overall I enjoyed much more Code Geass, it has much more action, the ending is much more satisfying (I mean, I enjoyed DN only till episode 30 if I remember right, last 6-7 episodes are trash).

>Both anime are about "living in the fringe of the city" (I'm not english, but I hope you get the idea of what I mean), I found myself thinking about that kind of life while watching both of them. >Main character (Vincent for Ergo Proxy and Nezumi for N°6) are similar, misterious and while watching you want to know more about them. >Ergo Proxy is more "Goth", dark atmosphere while N°6 is more colorful and bright. >Maybe Ergo Proxy's character are "more realistic" while in N°6 they seems fictional. >well, both anime are amazing imho ;)

>Both anime have a "battle royale" background, if you live, you win a great power, in the other hand if you die, you lose. >Both have a lot of action, even if they are different in that, Mirai Nikki have a more realistic style (guns, knives etc), Fate/Zero fights are between GDR role (Saber, Archer, Caster, Lancer etc). >I really enjoyed both anime, hope you will have the same fun if you decide to try them ;)
