Lemme be straight forward and say that this is downright bad, like very bad. Now, I've seen my fair share of ecchi genre animes that end up being one of the best things I've ever seen, but this ain't it. than men in this universe is quite eye-catching, but the way it was used was soooooo trash. The animation quality is so bad, the blending of the CGI with the background is definitely a no for me. And fr the MC is sooooo generic, like Deku even had more personality than this dude, and the other characters like Shushu ain't original. Nothing special about her or even the 2nd fem lead, Kyouka. Like her backstory is just meh, and I find it so ironic whenever they try to make the MC have those "oh i'm so weak, i gotta do smth" and the next thing you know, he's licking Kyouka's boots and sniffing her sweaty-ahh shirt.
To give you my pov, I personally love Kill la Kill's usage of ecchi, the characters end up semi-naked or full on naked or wear very revealing clothing because the clothes are beings and give the user its powers. But this freak show makes everything about sexual fantasies, girls harassing the main character, and AGHHH IM SO ANNOYED AHAHAHAH
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you want to feel "not alone" if you have these kinky fantasies that you can't commit to avoid allegations HAHAHAHAH

Given is one of my favorite BL animes next to Doukyuusei. Why? First, the story is very simple yet it doesn't bore you at all. Why? Because the characters support the story, which provides you the four main characters (anime based), Mafuyu, Uenoyama, Haruki, and Akihiko. Imma review each one of them so--
Mafuyu is an emotionless, introverted, and quiet person. Now with his character, it seems "boring" since he doesn't display anime emotions as much as the other characters on the show. to play the guitar or know the first thing about music. It was his passion for music that really struck me since I can relate: I know very little about the guitar (I started very recently), know nothing about tabs, scales, etc., yet I love music.
And Mafuyu's biggest factor is his inability to express his feelings. Ever since the Yuki incident, he's been "muted" as he grew numb, traumatized to the point he yearned to express what he really felt ever since that time. Now, I never had someone really close to me, but when he said "I'm definitely worse at expressing myself than other people are" that quote struck home. Like him, I have a hard time expressing myself since I can't put my deepest feelings into words because I myself don't understand. But seeing Mafuyu express the words he couldn't through Fuyunohanashi, made me really happy for him as he was finally able to express his feelings. So Mafuyu was a 10/10 character.
Next, Uenoyama is a music prodigy, quite aggressive but kind. Now, his background was also interesting despite it being simple, because of his prodigious talent, he grew to no longer have fun with music since many people couldn't match his rhythm. However, when he met Mafuyu, who matched his passion and rhythm his love for music bloomed again. Honestly, there's not much to say about him overall as a character, but I love how he didn't judge Mafuyu even when he knew about his past through Kasai (hate that wench), he still continued to be civil with him until they opened up and whatnot. I love how he also fanboys inside whenever Mafuyu goes UWU mode on him HAHAHAH! I'd rate his character an 8/10.
Next, Haruki. Let me first say that I love and respect Haruki ever since I watched the movie, cuz omg he's so underrated. For ya'll who didn't see it, you gotta watch it, cuz its very good <3 Anyway, Haruki is a very mature, supportive, and quite cheerful college bassist of the band. Now, what really struck me is that he's always the person who holds up the entire band, always making sure everyone is on the top of their game and always looks after the youngins, and especially caring for our lovable dumbass Akihiko. Now, Akihiko and Haruki's dynamic is very good yet sad at the same time. So, Haruki has feelings for Akihiko which are unrequited but are always teased by Akihiko, who knows about it but does nothing with it. Basically, Akihiko plays around with Haruki's feelings, to the point Haruki is strung along until he's flat-out rejected by Akihiko. Despite this fact, Haruki still treated Akihiko nicely and stayed friends with him even if he had the choice to hate him (choosing to stay for the sake of the band, like ya'll that's sacrifice). LIKE HARUKI IS A TOTAL SWEETHEART AND STILL STUCK WITH AKIHIKO LIKE SRSLY, THIS MAN IS DEVOTED! Imma rate this precious boi a 9/10!
Next, Akihiko. He's an intimidating yet kind-hearted and observant person. However, he struggles with a toxic, codependent relationship with Ugetsu, the man he loves and hates at the same time. His background really added the spice to him why? He hated music because of Ugetsu, a man who excelled in violin (an instrument Aki loved himself), but overwhelmed by Ugetsu's talent gave up on it to pursue the man instead. This led to conflicts between them since Ugetsu knew about Aki's love for violin, so he felt guilty in a way that he was "killing" Aki's joy for the violin and music in general, leading to their breakup. Though they breakup, they often sleep around together or sleep with other partners to forget their own pain. Another thing is, Akihiko is always there to support Uenoyama and Mafuyu in their problems like a mature adult. But whenever it came to his own problems, Aki would reject the help of Haruki, who is aware that Aki loves another (but still chooses to love him). What saddened me with Aki is that he let his problems drag those around him along with him (harassing Haruki and abusing his kindness). But I loved how he resolved himself after coming to terms with his past with Ugetsu and choosing to pursue what he really loved in the beginning: music. I also loved how he wanted to be the man worthy of Haruki, like AGHHH MAH HEART IS BURSTING <33 Akihiko and Ugetsu are 10/10!
The art style is STELLAR. I love it stays consistent and the colors are very vibrant and also relaxing to the eyes. Their character designs are simple yet prominent for each character. They all look so amazing! The OST isn't that memorable, but the few songs are GOLD! I desperately want more songs, especially from Hiragii and Shizusumi's band. Hopefully there will be a season 2. Everything is a 10/10! Highly recommended!!

Death Note was literally a rollercoaster that had its railings removed midway and I fell to my literal death. This anime was so close to being one of my favorite ones but it didn't make it. For the first half of the anime, I was so dang hooked because of the Light VS L case with all the suspense as they battle with their wits and all these clever tricks and plot twists. feel when Light killed Penber and Naomi, but that suspense was suddenly snatched away when L dies and from there, everything went downhill. Actually scratch that, I realized that the whole plot was very roundabout.
First, L's very existence was very important as he was very interesting and I really wanted to see his backstory and just dive deeper into his character, but then the story decided to cut his life short and he ends up being outsmarted by Light. The plot twist to that point was very thrilling, but it fades away after 2 new "L's" showed up----
Secondly, Near and Mello aren't interesting at all, I didn't really care about them and the suspense factor was already gone by the second half of the anime. They weren't as smart as L and their calculations aren't that shocking and you can pretty much predict it yourself. The rest of the other characters too weren't that amazing and were just added there for the sake of the story to move forward. Which brings to my third point.
Thirdly, Light's character during the second half no longer had flare and was no longer interesting. His goals as Kira were very shallow and just again, very roundabout. The entire second half was basically like the first half but without the spice of suspense. It was just so boring to have this back and forth guesses if Light is Kira, will Kira get caught, who outsmarts who, etc. The entire factor of the Shinigamis disappeared too. I missed the moments of Ryuk, who could've been pivotal, idk. The side characters too were just very boring and I just really wanted to end it, especially when I came to the end.
Lastly, I was very unsatisfied with how the whole thing ended. I hated that Light had to die since he could've avoided making all these holes in his plan you know? Throughout the show, he showed how smart he was, but in the second half, his intelligence kinda disappeared and he no longer showed me that he had more plans up his sleeve. He was a very interesting character, but his motives and actions in the show dulled over time and everything just felt rushed and repetitive (again).
HOWEVER, I could say that the OSTs in the show and the memes that came out from it were good, the animation was a 7/10 since at certain episodes, they looked funky lmao. Overall score, prolly a 7.5/10, I don't fully recommend, but watch it if you like I guess HAHAHAHA

This anime became one of my favorite ever since I watched an out of context vid of Bocchi. This anime was so good, refreshing, and just outright relatable. Bocchi's struggles to socialize, to be in front of crowds, to make friends, and her desire to be seen hits hard. I've developed social anxiety, I struggle with looking people in the eye and making friends (since I struggle in establishing connections or having deeper connections with them), I hate social gatherings, so I isolate myself but at times I often wish to be seen when I'm at my element like how Bocchi thrives in music. was really able to connect with Bocchi and she's a very entertaining character that deserves all the love. I also love how Kessoku Band have patience for Bocchi whenever she "dies" or whenever she panics, they respect her and try to find ways to put her at ease and really love hanging out with her despite being different from them personality-wise. The adorable extrovertedness of Nijika and Kita, the introverted-weirdo Ryo, and the supportive family of Bocchi were very nice to see and it just warms my heart.
The OST of this anime is stellar, Kessoku Band's songs are absolute bangers and the animation lives rent free in my mind. The times the artstyle changed in the anime whenever Bocchi "dies" or panics were very good and entertaining that I could rewatch this anime all over again. The character designs were also very good and Bocchi's character development throughout was very nice to see, especially when Kikuri became her mentor and taught her to have confidence in herself. (Kudos to Kikuri fr)
This anime is a solid 10/10!!

To be straight to the point, I think KNB's biggest faults are its characters and their developments and story pacing.
Characters + Developments:
This part is very crucial in any story for viewers to develop a connection with the characters, and this is something KNB failed at doing. This is also prolly why the fandom is dead. The characters may seem interesting at first glance, but when you dig deeper you realize that there isn't much depth in them. Such as the goals of Kuroko and Kagami, their goals were very generic and just very plain, and even throughout their journey to accomplish that goal, I couldn't

really see any changes in their personalities. They're just the same all throughout the show and there's nothing really interesting about them besides their "superhuman abilities" that define them. Kagami jumps around and Kuroko passes around. That's about it. Kuroko could've been more interesting if they fleshed out the effects of his past with the GoM and how he could've been transformed after their loss against Aomine. This also goes for every single team in KNB, they don't have any solid dynamic and it's just a repetition of the typical "calm-dumb-energetic-smart" squad in the team. The main teams in KNB aren't that interesting and don't really give us how they are outside or inside the team/school. Take Haikyuu for example, like KNB, they have many teams and you can see or feel a connection to them because you get to see what they're like outside of volleyball. However, in KNB, you only get to see the different teams during games ONLY. THAT'S IT. That also goes for Seirin.
The Generation of Miracles are also no exception from this. They are all defined by their superhuman abilities and are just very shallow. Aomine and Murasakibara are examples of wasted character potential, why? Because they didn't have an evident change after their loss against Seirin. Aomine continued to slack in practice and Murasakibara still saw practicing as a hassle and he was too lazy for it. Like, aren't ya'll supposed to try harder now that you tasted defeat and wanna improve? Midorima and Kise are very shallow too, not much to say about their personalities as Midorima is the tsundere and Kise is that basketball version of Oikawa. Akashi's dual personality was very interesting and how ore-shi and boku-shi would talk to each other internally was also very good, but I really wanted more of his past and personality fleshed out even more since he had the potential to be a great character.
Story Pacing:
For real, this is KNB's biggest problem and I'm super pissed about it cuz I wanted to fully love this anime, but I think this is the reason why the fandom is practically dead. THE PACING IS SO BAD. Everything felt very rushed, it's like being given a spoon of soup to taste but then it suddenly gets snatched and you're given another spoon with a different flavor, and this is done 100x. When I was introduced to Kuroko and Kagami at the same time, I was slightly overwhelmed because they're suddenly introducing Kagami's goal to defeat the GoM out of the literal blue because why would he wanna do that if he didn't have a solid reason? It would've been plausible if he was defeated by them or whatever. Then Kuroko suddenly wants to help him achieve that goal right off the bat. Then we're introduced to Kise who declares war on Seirin, and then Seirin and Kaijo have a practice match. LIKE WHAT IS THIS? KNB doesn't give me any room to take in every single info that's being shown to me. They could've fleshed out the characters first, then give us the practice match. BUT! They suddenly shove in the Inter-High prelims down my throat.
The sudden introductions of opponents and characters is super rushed that I don't get time to memorize who is who. And the biggest sucker punch are the "training arcs". Sports animes need training arcs in order for the viewers to see the characters' improvements, but KNB doesn't give as much as a drop of it. We only see like 30 mins of training, then they make these sick moves on the fly like why? Let's use Haikyuu again as a reference. In Haikyuu, you can clearly see the changes Hinata, Kageyama and the team made during their countless training moments and you can also see the sick moves they used in practice in their official games. In KNB, I'm not super amazed at how Kagami, Kuroko, or any other character for that matter can use these super moves in their official games, when I didn't see the process of how they arrived at that result. A key factor in sports animes is the process of their transformation. KNB had terrible pacing that those crucial training scenes were as good as nonexistent. Don't get me started on the KNB Last Game movie, that movie had terrible pacing. Like we get moment of them "training", declare war against Jabberwocks, then get straight to the match. Like what? They had 1 hr and 50+ mins to show us their training because Jabberwocks even rivaled NBA players, but no, because their the Generation of Miracles, they'll make the dream work.
Overall:
KNB had so much potential in rising to be one of the best sports animes out there. Personally, I really liked it since I got to learn a bit of basketball from it, the character designs was like Horimiya but in the sports realm, the OST was good to especially the 3rd opening and the 5th ending were absolute bangers. The animation was very good especially the Aomine vs Kagami match, Kise vs Aomine, Seirin vs Akashi, and the Last Game was also very good. The character designs for the GoM was also good, but the non-GoM people looked liked average side characters sadly, it would've been nice if the side characters had crazy hair colors too to not make the GoM look like foreigners. I'd rate this anime a solid 8/10.

This anime is probably one of my favorite slice of life animes. The premise of the entire show was just so adorable, wholesome, and just beautiful.
Plot: The plot is very simple, it’s about Nishimura, a young girl who is often bullied by her classmates because of her eyes that resemble the Grim Reaper. But her life is turned around when she meets Takada, a young boy who is very energetic and oblivious to things around him. Because of his energetic nature, he befriended Nishimura despite whatever his classmates tell about her.

improves in her social skills, befriending Takada’s sister, Umi, Kasahara, and Hino as such.
Characters: Although the art seems very simplistic, it also fits the anime’s lighthearted nature. The character designs are decent, but what I like the most are their personalities (excluding Kitagawa’s). Nishimura from a very introverted person to a now much happier girl thanks to Takada’s sunny personality that helps her get out of her shell. I love their dynamic because you can really see that Takada is very outspoken in how he thinks of Nishimura, completely ignoring his classmates’ opinions of Nishimura.
Their crushes on one another is also very endearing, but the scene that really took the cake was the scene he found out about Nishimura’s deceased mother. I love how considerate he was of her feelings, feeling extremely bad for calling her the Grim Reaper (albeit in a loving manner) since it seemed “related” to the fact that Nishimura’s died because of her through difficult childbirth (or maybe some other reason, since it was unsaid). I loved how he cried and apologized and they just held hands on the way home, taking longer routes to stay together longer to comfort Takada. That episode really struck me.
Another character that I love is Nishimura’s father who’s very supportive and loving towards Nishimura, marinating eggs for her so that she could strike conversations with friends easily, accompanying her in buying a swimsuit, and also crying with joy when she sent him a photo of her and her friends eating lunch together. I love how his love is displayed very well even if those scenes were very brief.
I also love Kasahara’s character development, starting out as one of the major bullies to now being Nishimura’s good friend. Initially, I was very annoyed with how she would keep bullying Nishimura, but then again, they’re children but that also isn’t an excuse to bully someone. However, during the school festival, I love how she was patient in hearing out Nishimura’s plea for her to represent their class and for her to run since Nishimura couldn’t run as fast she could. This scene really showed that Nishimura knew her limits and was willing to ask others to help her despite her want to be with Takada during the relay race. From there, Kasahara started warming up to Nishimura to the point she stopped herself from bullying her, deciding to stay silent instead.
Edit: I love that scene where Nishimura and Takada witnessed Kasumi-neechan's kiss with her crush, like that awoke something between the two of them and it made the relationship even cuter. I love how Takada wanted to kiss Nishimura, but she held him off by telling it to give his first someone he really loved but then he said that he wanted it to be her. LIKE AYO THEY ARE SO ADORABLE AGHHHH
Animation: The animation is also good, not as high as Mappa or StudioWit, but it’s good enough.
OST: The music is also good enough.
Overall score: It’s a 9/10 for me! I highly recommend this anime if you want your dose of serotonin and wholesomeness!

Story: The plot is basic, its about a boy named Shiraishi, who struggles in being noticed by people to the point he's invisible, but his life is slowly turned around by Kubo-san who is the only one (excluding her sister and cousin) who can see him, thus developing a friendship/romantic relationship throughout the anime. I'd say that the anime isn't that memorable compared to most animes I've watched like ngl, I easily forgot how the first episode went until the later episodes. OST + Opening and Ending: The music is decent, but in my opinion, the op and ed aren't that catchy or prominently special.
Characters + Designs: The character designs aren't that special as well, very average looking. Shiraishi's design is very similar to Tadano from Komi-san. Nothing else to say. However, the only character that I dislike is Kubo's older sister; she keeps teasing Shiraishi and is too observant of everything around which isn't a good thing for me, cuz it's as if she knows exactly what happened as if she has "god's view of some sort". AND I hate that time she tried to seduce Shiraishi with her big-ass tits outs when she was drunk like girl, STOP.
Overall: This anime isn't something I'd recommend, it's very slow-paced and it's similar to Takagi-san minus the "chirpy vibe" if that makes sense. But, for those who like simple romance animes, then this is for you.

Saiki is prolly one of the funniest animes I've ever watched. I love how Saiki is self-aware, pessimistic, and stoic, but funny also. I also love how everything in the anime is just full on crack. However, the thing I'm not so happy about is the animation quality, its very lazy and it just looks like there's no effort whatsoever. The plot may seem shallow and seems repetitive to other viewers, but I think this anime will be good for those who just wanna relax and not keep up with the entire story, remembering details, etc. This anime is just full on comedy and you can be super chill :D

THIS MANGA IS TOP TIER ROMANCE
I rate this manga a 10/10 because the story is immaculate. I love the maturity and realism the characters and story have. I love how I could connect with Tsumugi Rintarou in a deep level such as self-esteem and the idea of getting sick of giving up so easily. I also love the maturity of Madoka towards the strife between Kikyo and Chidori, she really maintained a clear understanding that you should never judge the book by its cover. I also loved the past of Rintaro's hair and piercings and how he was willing to sacrifice them for Kaoruko; and

the friendship of Hoshina with the boys and Kaoruko, she really had a good character development alongside Rintaro.
The idea of hiding your pain from friends is so relatable to me because I hate being a burden on others and I really want to have friends like Rintaro where they're patient and always there to support him in his troubles. The thing I kinda have an issue on is Kaoruko's personality, like I want to see her angry, sad and just act "more human", I mean I know she's portrayed as that "smiling despite the pain" character, but she also needs some realism that everyone has their limits. But overall, it's a really good romance anime with full on fluff, wholesome energy and also the right amount of drama that aint dogwater or whatever. The art is also cute and very well done :D

Okay so I saw this anime on YT and I was very curious cuz the art was very eye-catching and it looked very nice graphically, so I watched it. And imma say that this anime is not bad and not great at the same time. Animation-wise is decent, there are times that Anne looks like a malnourished sprout of some sort, but its not so bad. The designs and the colors are very nice and very "soft-looking", if that makes sense. In terms of story/plot, it's not that special compared to other animes out there, it's very decent. NOW, THE CHARACTERS?

ALL MY FRICKIN BEING, LIKE WHY DOES HE KEEP APPEARING ON SCREEN LIKE BRUH NO ONE IS ASKING MORE OF HIS SORRY ASS. Next, Anne is nice and all but she's too goody-two-shoes and is literally treated like some doormat by the animes' antagonists (like Jonas I swear---), but I admire her perseverance. Shall fen Shall is decent, very beautiful, but not that special of a character too. Mithril Lid Pod is also decent, he can be very noisy at times (IN MY OPINION), but ehhh.
And the concepts of slavery/racism was just completely removed and the show towards the end kinda lost its spark, so it just went downhill :((
Overall the anime isn't for everyone's taste. I wouldn't rewatch this anime nor miss it (besides missing Shall fen Shall) as much as AOT or Haikyuu. This anime really varies depending on its audience. And I swear the ending was very bittersweet and I wasn't satisfied especially with that green bark-looking goofy ahh of a woman who stole Shall at the end >:((
