I know I can't compare this anime to a regular running one as the time difference between the episodes are so vast, but this show fails to succeed in the time span it was given. The opening comprises over half of each episode, and it's honestly more entertaining then the actual one minute of content. The main character is a normal person, which is fine but provides no entertainment value unless you enjoy watching someone do regular everyday things like decide what to eat for dinner for one minute.

A pretty good story that went on for too long and ended poorly. There was one point where I thought oh this is the ending, but then it continued on for at least twenty more chapters. Then when everything seem concluded and was finally ready to end, they created a side storyline that seemed to come out of nowhere and then didn't even finish explaining it. Black Clover has a good premise and potential, but it falls short of both of those. I was a fairly big fan of this show during the Elf Reincarnation Arc, but I haven't honestly enjoyed it since. No character dies, they're always magically brought back to life either via Mimosa or just because the author wants to keep them. The chapters are short, every twist is obvious or confusing, and Asta defeats strong enemies at a fast rate with little power.
It's not a terrible manga, but roughly created and overly predictable. Unless you're a huge fan of shounen I don't recommend starting it. Story- ...

A very cute quick watch for anyone who likes penguins or cute anime. I think it would be a good show for a younger child or a family to watch together. There’s not really any big overarching plot, but the plot of each episode is nicely done, especially for the time frame it’s in. My biggest quip is that they reuse the same voice actor for at least 6 different characters, but for a production this small it’s understandable. I think more episodes would’ve been nice as well, especially with the episodes being less than three minutes each.

I was expecting this show to be amazing from all the talk I heard about it prior to seeing it. Overall a good show, but not the masterpiece I was told it was. I personally felt the romance was shaky and moved too fast, especially for a crime/mafia themed show. I can 100% tell the source material is a shojo manga, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I feel as if the show is geared more to the negative ideals of gay people that permeate a lot of shojo more than it is a story that involves LGBTQ people. I personally don’t know how people really enjoy this show. The music is great, the animation isn’t bad, but the amount of sex and violence is very grotesque and takes away from the storyline. Some of the violent scenes made no sense, and I can’t understand why they were included. Its possible I missed something but personally I don’t get the whole Akira and Ryo love story. I understand the ending, but it seemed to just jump there with no character development or real reason. Not the worst anime I’ve seen, but I definitely would never recommend it.

It’s an okay anime. The story is decent, but the aggressive fan service and use of nudity and perversion really takes away from the plot and main character. The female characters seem to be all sex appeal and lack development or real personality. The time aspects of it are a bit confusing to me, but is lessens as you continue to watch. It really does feel like a show created to appeal to Fairy Tail and ecchi fans. It definitely isn’t anything special.
