I've finished this a long time ago so my memory is pretty hazy about the events that happened in this show so my review may not be a good read to measure if you should watch it or not. Regardless, I still want to make a review because I remembered wanting to make one for this back then but just forgot after some time and now it all came back to me so no one can stop me from doing this one now.

does shine is in the character department because that's slice of life's bread and butter but that, I will talk about later. So back to story, it's a comedy and is about the protagonist adventures in her road to school. Different ideas were presented each episode and the comedies are built upon these and they made me laugh and engrossed so I'd say it's very well executed in my dictionary. I think this show aired at the same time as Asobi Asobase, another great comedy show, though I think Chio-chan is funnier for me. I just like how dead pan the humor was. Some say that's not how the manga executed the comedy parts and these made the anime adaptation worse for them but for me who had not read yet about the manga, it's what made the show so much hilarious. The awkward delivery of the humor, which I felt was the intent of the director that did this show, and the reactions of the characters that's pretty weird both in and out of context, combine it with how the art style depicted the overall aesthetics of the show, it's a weird combination but a good one.

This was, as far as I remember, the highlight of the show and they definitely did well in amplifying the comedy parts with every other episode introducing different characters with quirks that were taken advantage of later episodes to produce comedic hijinks that made for inducing a heartful laughter in me, as far as my memory serves. The protagonist was a great straight woman, (straight, meaning in the japan "manzai") and her pointing out the weirdness of the stuff happening around her(and to her) was also hilarious.
Enjoyment - 10
I enjoyed this a lot. It made me laugh more than Asobi Asobase during the time this and that were airing as far as I remembered. They were both good though so they're definitely a must watch if you want to laugh a lot.

Being a big fan of cooking though I myself haven't been able to cook anything edible so far, having watched Shokugeki no Soma awakened an urge within me to pursue the path of a chef and while the previous statement was obviously a joke, it was not entirely unfeasible given I just have to work hard and give all my best which was what this show instilled upon my maiden heart and truly, it was a lesson that I take into heart.

detailed and stuff about the food, the ingredients and techniques used to produce such dish accompanied with an often exaggerated reaction and if the judge is a woman(which was always the case), you get an awesome fanservice with all the "boing boing" and lecherous voice that you'll have to turn the volume down. Except with the fanservice though, this all had to be somehow familiar to you. Indeed, it was very much similar to Yakitate Japan(another great show) in that regard. And while it borrowed some ideas from the previous show stated, it had its own quirks which make for a show that offers something new and refreshing.
The first half of the show was, I must say, well done. In terms of soundtracks implemented and the progression of the story, they were all blended so well that a supposed-to-be moving scene was certainly, well, quite moving. The ending theme was also a heartwarming piece of music with how mellow and vibrant it was and at the same time, a gentle tinge of something undefinable was mixed within which made for a nice relaxing feel at the end of each episode. And one musn't forget that this is a cooking show. So what do you expect? They cook, cook and cook. Infinite cooking. And a show of this type can get pretty repetitive very early in the game. Fortunately, the imminent problem was circumvented by cutting the cooking segments into just enough screentime and giving some time to develop some of the casts. And in some cases where the cooking parts eat up an entire episode, what was presented was actually entertaining enough that it justifies the massive amount of time sacrificed into those.
The second half of the show, on the other hand, wasn't so organized compared to the first half. The just right pacing its first half did very well was brought into a staggering amount of endless cooking trivias and mind-buggering jargons and stuff that amounted to nothing but boredom. While the handling of character development went stronger than before, the majority of time spent dilly-dallying around of the judges before rating the food made the show repetitive as heck. The "shonen" genre has become much more apparent in this second half which could be a good or a bad thing, depends which side of the coin you are. The second opening theme was equally atrocious. It was just too rowdy that the relaxed feel the show had from the beginning was destroyed before your very eyes. It screams "THIS IS SHONEN,***!" and it was honestly infuriating rather than hype-inducing. The second ending theme though appealed to me a lot since I'm a fan of Yakushimaru Etsuko's weird singing(it's truly weird, yet charming in its own right).
Shokugeki no Soma's latter half dampered the mood the show made in the beginning and while it was a disappointment, it was still pretty entertaining until the end. The show was very educational and I learned a lot. It was also a lot more hilarious than I expected. Most of the characters were given just enough development that made you care for them and Tadakoro Megumi is a character that I've grown to like a lot in the course of the show's entire run. Its fanservice which some might abhor shouldn't deter you from watching the show though as that reason for refusing to view it would just be too silly. And last reminder before watching, the show could empty your wallet a lot faster than you would expect.

So cool, so cool. He is the coolest character. From washing plates to molding flour to everything you could ever imagine, he does all of it in the coolest way possible. Ladies-no, even males get enamored by this man's coolness it's so unfair! How could such a human being exist? No, wait, is he even human? Whatever his identity is, one thing's for sure. He's the one and only coolest guy that you will ever see in your entire life. What?! Who the heck am I talking about?! Haven't you heard about him?! I'm talkin' about SAKAMOTO!

a manga by Sano. I read a few chapters of it back then when it was still on its early stage and I found myself interested but a little disappointed due to the fact that the manga releases were quite few some years ago. And now it has become an anime and having seen that title, I immediately remembered and thought "Wohooo...It's SAKAMOTO!" except not! I wasn't really surprised given that I have read some of the manga chapters already and I found myself enjoying it at that time so adaptation was kind of imminent and hey, let's give this show a try and see if it'll manage to live up to my expectations(which were slightly above normal) and I needed some fun in my life anyway after so much depression Undertale caused me(ye ye I'm a pansy and take games seriously). So with that, I started watching Sakamoto desu ga. Each episode contained two to three story sections and Sakamoto's the star,like always, which wasn't bad because I have to admit, he was truly a cool and a likeable guy but perhaps that's just what my girl hormones is trying to make me feel, anyway, he was so cool and so funny in everything he does that I always find myself laughing already even just upon hearing that goofy cool Sakamoto theme song that's played whenever he was now about to show an absurdly, ridiculous yet cool "technique" to end a problem in a very neat and again, a very cool way. Surely, you have noticed that I used the word "cool" excessively but I have to put so much emphasis to that because that's the point! You should watch this show just to see how COOL Sakamato is. Anyway, it's still early for you to get convinced so I will now further enhance my skills to GENUINELY convince you to watch it. Ehermm...You must be thinking that Sakamoto's only quality is his coolness...well, you're right, that could be his only quality but I have to say now, Sakamoto has become the star of the show only because of the strong supporting cast and add to that his coolness and Sakamoto desu ga truly became such an entertaining show that combined everything from comedy to little drama to some bittersweet romance - it was really a fun ride overall. Music department, hoho, proved to be quite commendable as well which I realized maybe too late? Anyway, about EXACTLY halfway of the show, I took notice of the variety of instruments used on the BGMs and they were handled greatly, not that I'm a music hardcore fan, but I really found myself getting carried away by the arrangement and the scene made an even more impact to me than that in the manga. And since I'm a piano fan, I also fell in love with the piano theme BGMs which thankfully, were quite a handful. And to ignore the supporting casts would be an act of heresy so I'll now tell you how amazing these people were and how they managed to be so likeable like the protagonist of the show. To make it clear and to avoid excessive spoilers, I'll just mention some few characters which I won't say if they're the best supporting casts or not. That's for you to figure out once you watch the show. So first we have Aina Kuronuma, a cute,conniving, seductive girl that likes Sakamoto, actually, almost everybody likes Sakamoto but that's not what I'm trying to say. Given her characteristics, it was pretty much obvious that this girl is the type that acts all cutesy but beneath that veil lies an evil intent and you are correct. She really is a little bit of a sweet yet evil girl trope. Still, what's wrong with adding some ugliness? That's what humans are and the show never did shy away about the dark realities of life which made for an even enganging situation. Course', Sakamoto Desu ga is not a dark, depressing show. So the characters will change from being a very despising person to a slightly less atrocious human being in the blink of an eye but the way it was done - it all felt natural. And with each last few minutes of each episodes, I found myself smiling telling to myself how Sakamoto ended everything so neatly and so heartwarmingly again. And again, with each few last minutes of each episode, the supporting casts were given some great character developments that I can't help but feel satisfied every week back when it was still ongoing. Yeah, also noone could ever forget Acchan(actually forgot his real name) - an "uke" ,hrm, clearly he's a freakin' fujoshi bait! I have to admit he was a very funny guy and I can't help but pair him up with Sakamoto and Hayabusa or whatever and I must add, he's voiced by Gintoki's VA. Ahg, an eargasmic voice he has....OK.. Sorry, this is digressing too much. Anyway, Acchan was a delinquent and Sakamoto straightened him up. That will happen in the first episode so spoiled you there, but really, how Sakamoto changed him was what really mattered as it's golden. It's really funny remembering that scene what with the ridiculousness of Sakamoto's antics, they just never grow old even if you had anticipated it. The animation also did its job well. Cool, just like Sakamoto.
Sakamoto Desu ga was truly an entertaining show. It was ridiculously hilarious, well deserved of its genre, and offers a variety of gags to keep it fresh even until the last episode. Impressively done cute dramas that never felt forced and heartwarming conclusions to every problems that arise in every episodes coupled with loveable casts truly make for a nice heartfelt experience that I haven't felt since a long time in my life. So surely you've heard it clearly now, how COOL Sakamoto really is.

Plastic Memories is the story of Tsukasa and giftias that are like humans except that they only have 9+ years life span.
Story
This show is a drama.Well, it's a good show and everyone should watch it,really.I wouldn't call it great since the elements used in this show aren't that original or pretty much overused and some shows that featured similar elements like the one used in this show were used to their maximum potential and were done much better.But that doesn't mean that this show is bad.The show used it's premise well and there's nothing wrong with it.The story's pacing was fine and the ending,

though somewhat left a little bit to be desired, was nicely done and concluded.There's nothing really complicated in the story and as it progresses, you'll really feel sad even if you're watching a happy scene as it's downright obvious(actually just reading the MAL synopsis would give you an idea) what the possible ending would be and all that happiness transpiring infront of you will eventually end.So yeah,this show are for those who want to cry but I actually didn't cry here.Just little bit tears threatening to fall but I managed to punch my eyes just when it's about to give up(pro-tip to remain cool) so again, I actually didn't cry.Only one objection here is the jokes.The jokes are so lame but they'll get decent as the story progresses or more like you'll get used to them.Overall, a fairly average show.
Sound
Great OP and ED.The inserted BGMs helped a lot in imroving the emotional impact of every emotional scenes.Overall, sound department contributed a lot to the show.
Art
The animation was impressive,fluid to say the least.The characters' face when they're about to cry were drawn and animated very well.It somehow had a natural feel to it.Overall, art department greatly contributed a lot to the overall atmosphere of the show.
Characters
The characters in this show weren't that bad but not so great.If you have watched few anime shows out there, you'll notice some of the typical personalities but that's fine with this show.Most characters don't try too hard in making their identity clear to the viewers and I was thankful since "trying hard" characters are the most annoying characters.So again,overall, characters are fine but the lack of interesting ones may leave you bored and perhaps,annoyed.
Enjoyment
I enjoyed it a lot.And this is my personal recommendation when you're planning to watch it.Marathon it!Well, there is,of course, a reason why you should marathon it and that reason is ,solely, because the emotional effect might get reduced if you decided to watch it,let's say, once a day or once a week.But that's just me personally.You can watch it however you like.
So Plastic memories was a good drama.It doesn't try too hard in doing an emotional scene and most were nicely executed.Inserted BGMs blended really well and I'd say this is one of those shows that used its sounds to it's full extent.Art is consistent and nicely done.Characters aren't bad but not so great.To put it shortly,everything blended really well here.And just in case,I think it wouldn't hurt if you'd prepare yourself some tissues before watching it or you can just punch yourself when the time comes.

Nodame Cantabile IV : The Ballad of the Spoiled brats is a sad show.Sad in a way that it didn't live up to its three preceding seasons of which obviously outclass this show in so many corners.Not that I didn't expect that because,as you can see, this show is actually not a direct sequel to the Nodame Cantabile Series but merely a sidestory about spoiled brats playing piano....and violin.

matters.This show is like a cheesecake with too much cheese.It's good already.Sadly, so much cheese ruined it.The animations are awesome,very consistent,so colorful and fluid.It's an eye candy.The sounds are great,or even perfect.I can live with this music in my ears forever.Characters are cute.What else? The story,I can't say anything about it because this show is fueled not by the plot but by the characters.And then I look deeper to it, delve in to its insides.After going out, I have to say that this show could be better if only the director was different.Most scenes were damn too cheesy.I love dramas but not this kind of drama.I understand that most drama shows always have cheesiness but some make up for it by lessening it or adding something to balance it.Man,most scenes are too unnatural or should I say forced that it made my hair raise.I was about to quit already but then, the performances came and it was like I was watching a different show.The performances were too fantastic and moving.I was impressed.Everything flowed smoothly during those plays and the next time I knew it, it's over already.Seriously,the performances should have been better with just music and no dialogues.The music and the scenes transitioning during the concerts were enough for me to understand what the characters are trying to convey.Most characters are likeable and quite realistic but the way they act feels unnatural.It's like the characters were told to act shamelessly but they didn't want to do it so Director-kun forced them to just do it or you get no pay and this was what happened --- "super duper "junior" school cheesiness".But exception,again, is during the performances.The characters during their plays were fantastic.It's like they became different people.They were natural and I feel connected to them.And then,after the play,they go cheesy again.Humor is also cheesy.Actually,everything in this show are cheesy except,again, the performances.This show,I expected too much and hoped too much,but expectations = shattered.My conclusion is well,obviously because of the cheesiness.I hate cheese.This show is not really bad.In fact, it's good and could have been made better if only the characters were more natural,touch-feely scenes made less cheesier,and more violin performance of Kaori(the last one is just me being selfish).Bottom line? The director tried too hard making a drama show but was just not cut out for that kind of genre.He should just make a show about cheese.
The fourth season is just superfluous to the Nodame Cantabile franchise.It shouldn't have been made.Just kidding.I'm glad this show has been made.And of course, it's title is really Your lie in April.lol.I actually personally liked this show.In fact, I love it.But I'm mentally retarded so I aspire to become a scientist that conquers the world with her madness and then, I'll sleep. Oh god, I'm a genius.
