Bocchi the Rock is an anime centered around Hitori "Bocchi" Gotoh, a 15 year old girl with social anxiety that joins a band.
Voice acting stood out to me. The variations in Bocchi's voice help us get into her head. But other than that, this show felt like an average CGDCT anime. As someone who does not have social anxiety, I found Bocchi's struggles with it pretty repetitive and unrelatable. The other characters were pretty bland too, with little character development. There wasn't much of a plot either, although the plot isn't the main point of this anime.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is a disgrace to romance anime.
I was excited at first, ready to watch another sweet romance (yes I'm that lonely). But I quickly realized that this show just recycles the same old romance tropes over and over again. I'm not joking, nothing interesting happens here. It's just Amane (male MC) talking with Mahiru (female MC) in Amane's room, with some wholesome moments sprinkled in. Outside of their relationship, Amane and Mahiru are extremely plain, one-dimensional characters, mostly because their outside lives are largely neglected.
