Love in Focus is a simple manga. It's a light read and you could definitely finish it in one sitting. The female lead's personality all boils down to her love for photography, there isn't anything else about her that's interesting. My biggest issue with this manga is the fact that the author didn't dive deep enough into the thoughts and reasons behind a character's actions. I'm not saying they didn't dive in at all, but more effort could've gone into it. Had the story been longer, maybe it would've been better. I can't even tell how or why the main couple fell for each other.

Ao Haru Ride: Awaken explains things that are in the main story in more detail that otherwise were left to be interpreted by the reader. Something that the main story lacked was an insight into Kou's feelings and motivations for doing certain things. I wish these bits were in the main story, but Ao Haru Ride: Awaken definitely makes up for it. If you've already read Ao Haru Ride, I think this manga is worth reading as well. andddd MAL is not letting me publish this due to the lack of words???? there isn't anything else to really say MAL im sorryryryry plz let me
