Ever imagine what it would be like if Nisekoi wasn't a harem filled with misunderstandings? Do you like romantic progression in a story? Have you wondered what would happen if Raku wasn't so clueless and became a nonchalant male lead? Well if you've thought about any of these while reading Nisekoi, Horimiya is right for you. Both series are episodic and the comedy is very similar. However, the romance is portrayed very differently.

After watching a few episodes of Spice and Wolf, I just thought "Amazing, another anime that gave me the same feeling as watching Gosick." Both of these anime are not set in modern times and they are both in the same geographical location. The first thing I realized was that the interactions between the two main leads are very similar. The females, both are "wolves", are very cunning and shows off how smart they can be. There is the excellent chemistry between the two leads. I wouldn't say it's overly romantic, but there is romance in both anime. Although the male leads do not possess any strong physical ability, they still try to protect their partners. Both anime contain a lot of dialogue and stories that require the audience to actually think about it for a while to understand fully. If you liked one, it is highly recommended that you watch the other.

The first episode of both these anime start of quietly and uneventful, then suddenly, the characters' lives get turned upside-down and calamity ensues. One caused by titans breaching the wall in Shingeki while in the other, an earthquake tears down the city.

...then you might like Kitaku-bu Katsudou Kiroku add

Both anime have only female leads. There is no actual plot, instead each episode is separated into short segments of different unrelated stories. Both are slice of life.
