The hetalia movie, despite being a comedy anime directed at fujoshi with poor attention spans, is actually a very solid metaphor for the dangers of white supremacy, hence the title "Paint it White". The film tackles historical elements of each country's past and ties it in with very tasteful satirical commentary of both the axis powers and allies as they unify and tackle the issue of racism and white supremacy at a global scale. its like the stereotypes song but with queer baiting and sexy men.
not going to lie england makes me feel funny in my pants. if he were real id give him a kiss on the mouth if i could. like a good 30 second one, but he'd have to kiss back or it'd just be like i was pressing my mouth on his face for 30 seconds which gets awkward quickly. not that i've ever been in that situation. the five minute episodes and 1-2 minute skits are great if you have a poor attention span (like me) and need some reoccurring dopamine rushes. and ... |
